Urban All-Round Master

Capítulo 1169: Chapter 1203: Life Is Like a Play, It’s All About Acting Skills!

“Alright, since it’s already happened, let’s just let it go,” Lin Zifeng said after a moment of silence, nodding.

Now that the Long Family has been destroyed, there’s no point in dwelling on it. It might be better to have fewer troubles, which isn’t a bad choice.

After closing the video feed, Lin Zifeng leaned back in his chair, his thoughts seemed heavy as his brain raced. The destruction of the Long Family would surely stir up a storm in Dragon City. Some of the surviving masters of the Long Family might even attack the Nantian Gang.

Thinking of this, what Lin Zifeng could do now was to make his intelligence department lively and efficient.

He spent the whole afternoon pondering the future direction until the afternoon when Zhang Mengjie called to say they had been accepted by Huayu Group and were being prioritized for development.

This was undoubtedly a major surprise for Lin Zifeng!!!

You must know Lin Zifeng had to ensure these two young ladies were under his wing to be reassured. These two are really too naive usually. He wouldn’t be too confident if they went to other entertainment companies, with so many hidden rules nowadays, he must consider carefully.

Their image, and then their temperament, combined with their somewhat silly strength, still bear hope for mingling and making a name for themselves in the Martial Arts entertainment circle. With good cultivation, they might even create a sensation in the Martial Arts entertainment history.

The more stars Huayu cultivates, the more it helps Huayu, and Huayu’s influence would expand. If Lin Zifeng ever wants to do anything in the future, as long as he doesn’t touch the Martial Arts’ interests, no one should be able to touch him.

After the information was replied, the two silly girls almost raced back home.

Seeing Lin Zifeng holding a cup of coffee, casually walking down from the staircase.

Tangtang quickly rushed up, snatching the coffee from Lin Zifeng’s hand and gulped it down in one go.

Only then did the two girls return to a somewhat normal state from their excitement.

“Uncle… Let me tell you spectacular news! A piece of good news and a piece of bad news, which do you want to hear first?”

Tangtang’s face was flushed, as if water was about to drip.

Her dark eyes were spinning around, and Huahua behind her was just the same.

“What got you two so happy? If there’s no choice, I’d obviously choose to hear the good news,” Lin Zifeng said, smiling at them. Really, these two girls can be extremely cute sometimes.

“Uncle, did you know? We got hired by Huayu Group. Moreover, they’re planning to start shooting a commercial promo in the next few days, and me and Hua Ang will very likely be the leads!”

“That amazing?” Lin Zifeng said lightly.

He already knew all this and didn’t find it surprising.

“What’s the bad news then?”

“The bad news is, we’ll have to hustle within Huayu Group, carving out a world for me and Tangtang!”

What the! Is this really bad news? Are you kidding me? You think I’m dull or something?

“Uncle, why are you not reacting at all?” Tangtang had been watching Lin Zifeng’s expression since she came in, and after hearing both pieces of news, he hadn’t reacted at all.

“What do you expect me to react to?” Lin Zifeng was already well-aware of this, any major reactions would just be superficial.

“Huh, you should at least be a bit surprised.” Tangtang was unwilling to give up.

“Wow! That’s amazing!”

Suddenly, he squinted his eyes, tilted his head, and exaggerated his facial expression to the extreme.

“…”

The two girls were stupefied, speechless…

“This expression was quite alright, right?” Lin Zifeng said.

“Beast, with me and Tangtang entering Huayu Group, your reaction is so odd, isn’t it that you think Huayu is no good? If you don’t want us to go in, then we won’t go, we’ll totally listen to you.” Huahua’s charming face hesitated for a long time, although she really wanted to join Huayu Group, but having spent time with Lin Zifeng, if he advises against it, they would start questioning whether Huayu is good or not.

Because all this time, everything Lin Zifeng did, was genuinely for their best.

“It’s fine, I didn’t say it wasn’t. Huayu Group’s recently been on the rise, supposedly with a strong background, currently at an ascendant phase, making it the best place for newcomers to make their mark, maybe you guys will get famous as soon as you join, who knows?” In Lin Zifeng’s view, if Huayu actually wants to cultivate talent, of course, it’d be best not to let outsiders benefit.

Making them stars is just a matter of time.

“Really?”

“Really.”

“So incredible?” Tangtang asked excitedly.

Lin Zifeng was speechless.

“Do you think I look like I’m lying?”

“Wow! Hua Ang, when we make it in Huayu Group, we’ll be big stars!”

Tangtang got more and more excited as she thought about it, this is their dream, since they’ve grown up. All along, their dream was hoping one day they could stand at a certain height, getting all their loving fans chasing them, it’s such a wonderful thing.

After all, everyone has their own dreams, without dreams, isn’t one just like salted fish?

This all came too fast, too fast.

Life is like a play, it’s all about acting!

They spent the whole afternoon in the living room either dancing or singing.

Specifically, they had Lin Zifeng sit on the sofa and watch their performance.

In the end, having watched for the entire afternoon, Lin Zifeng really couldn’t see much. After all, he wasn’t a professional judge, if it looked good he’d clap, otherwise he’d shake his head.

“Beast, how do you think my and Tangtang’s performance was?” Huahua raised her head, her gaze falling on Lin Zifeng.

“Great, very great.” Lin Zifeng nodded.

“But I didn’t see much change in your expression?” Huahua asked, is her acting not good enough, unable to move others?

“Whether it’s good or not doesn’t depend on my expression. As long as I pay attention, I believe you will succeed.” Lin Zifeng encouraged them, nodding his head as he spoke.

“If I pay attention but can’t succeed, then what?” Tangtang asked.

“Then it’s a personal issue. Acting is a talent problem. The key is to focus, that’s how you do things well.”

Looks like once they enter Huayu, I’ll have to find them some good teachers to retrain them, this substandard performance level really isn’t enough to watch.
