Urban All-Round Master

Capítulo 1163: Chapter 1197: Underwater Breath-Holding Qigong (Monthly Ticket)

“What’s wrong? Why do you look so pale?” Liu Ruyan asked with concern.

“N-nothing, I-I just feel this way whenever I touch water.” Li Lin replied awkwardly, instinctively glancing at the water, fearing her older brother Lin might pop out at any moment.

“Hello, I’m Nangong Bing.”

With a knowing and generous smile, Nangong Bing stepped forward to introduce herself. “Welcome to my home as a guest.”

“Sister Nangong, I’m Li Lin, a childhood playmate of Brother Lin.”

Saying ‘playmate’ caused an inner struggle for Li Lin. She wasn’t sure if it was appropriate to say this, especially standing in front of such a stunningly beautiful woman, whose elegance surpassed that of any other lady. Comparing herself in terms of allure, Li Lin felt she couldn’t match Nangong Bing’s level of charm and grace.

When it came to a noble aura, she couldn’t compare either.

“Linlin, did you see him earlier?”

In front of Li Lin, Liu Ruyan still gave enough face to Lin Zifeng by not calling him a mere bodyguard, otherwise, Li Lin might not take it well.

To make sure Li Lin enjoyed herself here, Lin Zifeng’s status had to be elevated, or if even his status was too lowly, then Li Lin would feel she couldn’t stay there.

“Wh-who? Brother Lin?”

Li Lin looked nervous, her two pale legs trembling under the water. She wasn’t good at lying.

“It’s strange, this guy was just here. As soon as I turned around, he disappeared. I didn’t see him when I went in. Bingbing, did you see him when you came back? Where could he have gone hiding?”

Liu Ruyan couldn’t figure it out, turning to glance at Nangong Bing.

“I didn’t see him either, maybe he went out.” Nangong Bing smiled faintly, though her face bore a hint of frost.

“Forget it, since he’s gone, that’s just fine. The three of us can swim together. Come on, Bingbing, I heard you used to be a swimming champion in the United States, why don’t you teach Linlin?”

Liu Ruyan felt a special closeness to Li Lin from the moment they met.

Holding her trembling hand, she frowned and asked, “Linlin, what’s wrong? Why is your hand shaking?”

“N-no, maybe I’m just not used to this warm water.” Li Lin explained.

“Haha… It’s okay, swim a few more times and you’ll get used to it. Come on, Bingbing and I will teach you together.”

As she spoke, she held Nangong Bing with one hand and Li Lin with the other, slowly leading them towards the swimming pool.

“Ah!!!”

Li Lin suddenly screamed.

“What happened, Linlin?”

Liu Ruyan and Nangong Bing were both startled by her scream.

Li Lin avoided their gazes, stammering softly, “N-nothing, I accidentally stepped on a stone.”

Oh my god! That wasn’t a stone; it was clearly my foot!

Underwater, Lin Zifeng grimaced in pain, thankful for his good swimming skills. He had practiced holding his breath underwater back at the Heavenly Gate and later trained painstakingly until he could hold his breath for half an hour!

“A stone? I remember there weren’t any stones below. How could there be a stone?”

Nangong Bing furrowed her brows, puzzled.

She had personally designed the blueprint and layout of this swimming pool and oversaw the construction to ensure everything was done properly by the workers.

She had a clear understanding of every tile below.

“It might be something else, maybe my foot just couldn’t support it.” Li Lin quickly responded, trying to cover it up, then cheerfully suggested to Liu Ruyan and Nangong Bing, “Haven’t you both eaten yet? Why don’t I treat you to a meal? Although I don’t have much money, I can still cover some snacks and a couple of cups of coffee.”

“Haha… No, no, we already ate before you came. Let’s teach you to swim first, and once you’ve learned, you can fulfill your teacher’s intent.”

Liu Ruyan was growing increasingly fond of Linlin; every word she said, every gesture she made was so pleasing.

“But…”

“It’s okay, we’re not missing a meal.”

Liu Ruyan interrupted her persistence.

Seeing she couldn’t argue with them, Li Lin could only pray that Brother Lin could hold on a bit longer underwater.

“Bingbing, when was this water changed?”

“Yesterday,” Nangong Bing said.

“Alright, it was changed yesterday, so it should be clean. Plus, it’s so warm, so I’ll just pretend like I have a black women’s swimsuit on, and start taking off the bottoms.”

She thought since Lin Zifeng had already left, it was just the three of them left at the villa’s pool.

“Ruyan!”

Li Lin suddenly became nervous.

Halfway through undressing, Liu Ruyan looked at her strangely, “What’s wrong?”

“Uh, n-nothing.”

Li Lin hesitated, wanting to say something, but she couldn’t muster the courage to speak out.

However, Lin Zifeng, who was holding his breath underwater, vaguely saw Liu Ruyan had already taken off the upper covering and was preparing to remove the last thin layer below…

Oh no! Could it be that she plans to take a bath here?

What the heck! Am I about to see her entire body? Come on, Liu lady, if you want to bathe, can’t you do it at home? Why come here, unless you like chatting while getting a soak because it feels more extravagant?

“Linlin, why do I feel you’re acting so weird all of a sudden?”

Liu Ruyan didn’t remove her swim bottoms, just the top, then lay back in the pool, enjoying the bath that felt like a hot spring. This sort of bath was especially relaxing, especially at home without anyone bothering you.

“No, I’m just not used to it.”

“Haha—silly girl, there’s nothing to get used to, we’re not taking off the bottoms, just the top. It’s comfortable for ourselves. Why not? You should take it off too; the warm water will have a significant effect on your chest development.”

“Huh?? I need to take it off too?”

Li Lin was stunned.

“There’s no one else here, what does it matter if you take it off?” Liu Ruyan suggested they both take it off and even gave a big lecture about how warm water helps chest maintenance.

“This is really bad!”

Li Lin’s heart sank, wanting to remedy the situation, but she had used all her efforts. However… they just wouldn’t give her a chance to cover up.
