After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1296: Chapter 1300: Still Giving Him the Cold Shoulder

Downstairs at the hospital.

Leng Zirui drove his SUV hurriedly into the parking lot, and seeing an empty spot, he immediately parked the car, pushed open the door, got out, and rushed up the steps, walking into the main entrance of the inpatient department.

”Wait a minute!” Seeing the elevator about to close, he shouted urgently, dashed forward, and slipped sideways into the closing elevator door, naturally looking at the person standing beside him, ”Thank you!”

Xiao Gao, standing by the elevator, recognized him and immediately flashed an ambiguous smile, ”General Leng, what a coincidence!”

Xiao Gao?!

Does that mean Xu Xia is here too?!

”Hello.”

Leng Zirui politely greeted her, stepped back, and turned his face towards the elevator interior.

Sure enough, Xu Xia was right behind him, wearing a loose T-shirt and denim short skirt, revealing her two slender long legs, with her face almost completely covered by large sunglasses.

Besides Xiao Gao, Xu Xia’s manager Lan Zi was also present, along with two bodyguards.

Seeing her, Leng Zirui immediately smiled, ”You’re here to see Mo Mo too?”

With such a big incident at the kindergarten, reporters already got wind of it, and TV shows and websites have been reporting it. Although details weren’t disclosed, Xu Xia surely knew it was Luo Jun’s kindergarten.

She called Luo Xiaoqian right away, and upon hearing about Luo Jun, she rushed from the set to visit her godson.

As soon as Leng Zirui entered the elevator, Xu Xia recognized him.

Knowing that he was also there to see Luo Jun, Xu Xia just pressed her lips together, directly ignoring his presence, and paid him no attention.

This girl, still giving him the cold shoulder?!

Leng Zirui smirked, stepped back, and stood beside her, leaning towards her ear.

”Still angry?!”

Xiao Gao, Lan Zi, and the two bodyguards in the elevator had no idea what was going on between them. Watching Leng Zirui speak to her, they assumed they were whispering, each turning away, looking at their watches or at the elevator door.

Through the lens of her sunglasses, Xu Xia glanced sideways at him, her heart instantly igniting with anger.

After leaving the film festival last night, as Leng Zirui had said, there was no way to get a cab, and she couldn’t ask Lan Zi or Xiao Gao to pick her up. After leaving the venue, Xu Xia walked all the way home from the event, taking over two hours, with blisters on her feet when she got back.

Now, seeing Leng Zirui acting nonchalant, Xu Xia felt both furious and wronged.

Does he think it’s all over just like that?!

This playboy, this stallion, does he really think she’s the kind of woman who’s so casual about kissing and fooling around?!

With a surge of impulse to kill Leng Zirui in her heart, Xu Xia’s eyes only grew teary with the urge to cry. Clutching the strap of her handbag tightly, she gritted her teeth, saying nothing.

Leng Zirui had initially prepared himself for her verbal or even physical attacks, never expecting that this girl would say nothing at all.

Is this girl really giving him the cold shoulder?!

He turned his face, smirking mischievously as he leaned towards her cheek, not believing she could hold it in?!

Through the dark lenses, he vaguely saw her eyes, large eyes seeming to glisten with light.

Is she crying?!

Ding.

The elevator doors opened, Xu Xia pushed Leng Zirui aside and walked out in large strides, feeling something flowing from her eyes. She raised her hand, slipped it under her glasses, and wiped her eyes.
