After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1263: Chapter 1267: I Was Just Impulsive

In order not to arouse Tang Ming’s suspicion, he had to act more convincingly.

The air was taken away by him, Xu Xia’s heart was pounding fiercely, she couldn’t think at all, and she forgot to struggle, just clutching his shirt, foolishly letting him plunder.

All she could hear was her own heartbeat and his breathing, it felt like fireworks were exploding in her mind, one by one, splendid and beautiful.

...

...

Initially, Leng Zirui would spare his attention for Tang Ming, but later, he had already forgotten about Tang Ming’s matter.

...

...

Xu Xia’s body trembled, her fingers softened, and the little handbag in her hand slipped to the ground.

Bang!

The handbag hit the floor with a noticeable sound.

Hearing that sound, Leng Zirui suddenly snapped back to reality and released her.

Looking at Xu Xia in front of him, with her disheveled clothes, messy long hair, and lips flushed and glistening from his kiss, Leng Zirui frowned in frustration.

Leng Zirui, did you go too far with this act?!

He turned his head, looking towards the direction of Tang Ming.

At this moment, there was no sign of Tang Ming and Seo Fei.

Damn it, Leng Zirui, did you forget you were on a mission?!

”Xu Xia, I’m sorry, I have something to do, I need to leave!” Leng Zirui turned and rushed towards the exit, dialing Seo Shaochuan’s number, ”Chuangchuan, where are you guys?”

”They’re on their way back, we’re following behind them,” Seo Shaochuan replied.

Leng Zirui finally breathed a sigh of relief and stopped, ”Alright, keep following them, notify me with any updates!”

After hanging up the call, Leng Zirui raised his hand to tap his forehead, recalling Xu Xia, he turned and walked back.

At this moment, Xu Xia had already tidied up her clothes and bent over to pick up the handbag on the ground.

Leng Zirui hurried over to help her pick up the handbag and handed it to her.

”Xu Xia, about what happened just now, please don’t misunderstand, I was just impulsive, I apologize to you.”

Xu Xia breathed heavily as she stood up, looking at his face.

Sorry? Don’t misunderstand! Impulsive?!

What did he think she was, kiss whenever he wanted, hug whenever he felt like it, touch whenever he pleased?!

Xu Xia’s heart ached with frustration, looking at the man in front of her, she raised her hand and gave him a slap.

Leng Zirui turned his head and raised his hand, catching her wrist.

”Let go!” Xu Xia shouted in anger.

Leng Zirui released her wrist, seeing the tears glistening in her eyes, he was taken aback, ”You’re crying?!”

”Get lost!”

Snatching her bag back from his hand, Xu Xia turned and ran towards the exit.

”Xu Xia!” Leng Zirui quickly chased after her, blocking her way, ”I know I was out of line just now, I sincerely apologize to you, I’ll do anything as long as you forgive me.”

”Alright!” Xu Xia bit her lip and looked at him, ”Stand still, let me give you a slap!”

”Can it not be on the face?” Leng Zirui asked.

”No!”

Xu Xia raised her hand for a slap, Leng Zirui saw her movement and didn’t dodge.

Earlier, his avoidance was just an instinct cultivated over the years, this time, he didn’t evade because he wanted to take her slap.

After all, what happened earlier was indeed his fault.

Slap!

Her palm landed on his face with a crisp sound.

Xu Xia hadn’t expected to actually hit him and was momentarily stunned.

”Hiss!” Leng Zirui inhaled sharply, taking off his coat and draping it over her shoulders, ”Alright, I kissed you, you slapped me, let’s just call it even, I’ll take you home, okay?”

Call it even?!

Xu Xia’s heart filled with anger and pain once more, she yanked off his coat and threw it back at him, pointing at his face, ”Leng Zirui, from now on, don’t appear in front of me again, I never want to see you again!”
