After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1272: Chapter 1276: Anyway, He’s My Son

Leng Zirui put the headphones aside, ”That key is fake. Once the transaction goes through, the other party will immediately find out. Given the current situation, we can only capture Tang Ming first. Keep an eye on things, and notify me at the first sign of trouble!”

Jumping out of the car, Leng Zirui quickly returned to his own vehicle not far away, started it up, and raced towards headquarters.

...

...

Early the next morning.

After breakfast, Leng Zimo and Luo Xiaoqian walked out of the living room with Luo Jun.

”Wait for me at home, and I’ll play with you when I return!”

Setting a small husky he was holding onto the grass, Luo Jun waved at the few puppies chasing him before running to the side of the car.

Leng Zimo helped Luo Xiaoqian into the car, then picked up the little guy, and finally got in himself, sitting next to him.

With two cars escorting them front and back, the three of them left the farm.

”Mom, can I invite Wanwan over to play at our house this weekend?” Luo Jun asked, tugging on Luo Xiaoqian’s arm.

Luo Xiaoqian nodded with a smile, ”Of course you can. Then, I’ll invite Uncle Shen and the others over too, and we’ll have a camping party on the grass, okay?”

”Yeah, yeah!” Luo Jun cheered excitedly.

Luo Xiaoqian winked at him, ”But, you still need to get Dad’s approval first.”

She knew that Leng Zimo would certainly agree. She was guiding Luo Jun this way to make him accustomed to his father’s presence.

After all, in the past few years, she made all the decisions, and Luo Jun wasn’t really aware of having a father.

Luo Jun turned his little face and looked at Leng Zimo beside him, ”Leng Zimo, is that okay?”

Raising a big hand to embrace his small shoulder, Leng Zimo smiled and nodded, ”No problem, I’ll personally make barbecue for you when the time comes!”

Nearby, Luo Xiaoqian just looked at him helplessly.

She deliberately said that to make Leng Zimo give Luo Jun a little challenge, so he would change his way of addressing him to ”Dad,” but he always indulged him every time.

Noticing her slightly teasing expression, Leng Zimo just returned her a smile.

Previously, when he didn’t know Luo Jun was his son, Leng Zimo wouldn’t have been too lenient with him, but once he discovered his true identity, the guilt and self-blame he felt for his son made him feel like he owed Luo Jun too much. How could he make things difficult for the little guy over such matters?

The car arrived at the kindergarten, and the three of them got out together. Luo Xiaoqian bent down to kiss the little guy’s face and helped straighten his clothes, and then Leng Zimo personally carried the little guy upstairs.

”I’ll come to pick you up in the evening, remember to drink more water.”

He kissed him on the face before putting Luo Jun down, watching the little guy run into his classroom, wave at him, and only then did Leng Zimo turn and go downstairs back to the car, instructing two bodyguards to stay outside the kindergarten and watch over Luo Jun at all times. Leng Zimo and Luo Xiaoqian then left the kindergarten together.

”You’re spoiling him too much!” Luo Xiaoqian lightly reproached, ”Do you want him to always call you by your name?”

”What does it matter what he calls me?” Leng Zimo wrapped an arm around her waist, ”Regardless, he’s my child, and that’s something no one can change!”

”You!” Luo Xiaoqian sighed with a helpless pout, ”In a few days, I’ll take a trip back to the United States to help him change his name back.”

Because Luo Jun was born in the United States, he automatically received U.S. citizenship, and his name was registered as such. To change his surname back to Leng, they needed to go back to the United States.
