The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

Tianmiao sat down, and her desk mate was Wu Yihao’s parent, a young woman. She was Wu Yihao’s aunt.

”Hello, I’m Wu Yihao’s aunt. Are you Cui Wenyan’s parent?” Wu Yihao’s aunt asked curiously, because every parent-teacher meeting, this seat was always empty. It was the first time anyone sat down, so she couldn’t help but ask.

”Yes. You’re Wu Yihao’s parent? Thank you for how your Wu Yihao takes care of our Wenyan.” Tianmiao replied politely and expressed her gratitude.

”Ah haha, no, no, that mischievous kid, how would he take care of anyone?” Wu Yihao’s aunt waved awkwardly, ”His parents are busy working and haven’t returned to the country yet, so I’m the one who usually comes to the meetings. I haven’t seen you before, so I couldn’t resist asking. You’re really beautiful, no celebrity I’ve seen can compare to you.”

Clearly, Wu Yihao’s aunt was a sucker for looks, her eyes shining as she looked at Tianmiao. She took out her phone to exchange WeChat contacts with Tianmiao, saying it would be convenient to discuss the children’s studies in the future.

Tianmiao took out her phone and scanned codes with Wu Yihao’s aunt to add each other as friends. Then, Tianmiao noticed that Wu Yihao’s aunt remarked her as ”Peerless Beauty, Unmatched”. Such a long remark, yet she didn’t find it cumbersome.

Tianmiao: ”...”

”I’m Wu Rong, what’s your name?” Wu Rong, after writing the remark, looked at Tianmiao joyfully and asked.

”Tianmiao.” Tianmiao remarked Wu Rong’s name and replied.

”Alright, Tianmiao, when we have some free time, let’s go have afternoon tea together, ah, not that I mean—that is, we can set a time to discuss the children’s studies together,” Wu Rong spoke halfway and quickly corrected herself.

”Okay. Here’s my business card. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.” Tianmiao handed Wu Rong a business card.

Wu Rong took it and then remembered she also had a business card, clumsily fumbling to give one to Tianmiao, then started to scrutinize Tianmiao’s card.

On the front of the card were only two characters, Tianmiao.

The back had a phone number and the name and address of a shop.

An antique shop? My elder brother loves antiques, we should visit this shop some day.

The homeroom teacher quickly entered the classroom, immediately noticing Tianmiao sitting at the back. He undoubtedly remembered that seat well; it belonged to Cui Wenyan. But Cui Wenyan was an orphan, so who was this beauty?

”Um, that parent, did you come to the wrong classroom? We’re Class Five, Sophomore Year.” The homeroom teacher asked politely. She was really dazzling, unforgettable even at first glance. She definitely wasn’t a parent from their class. Worried she didn’t realize he was asking her, he added, ”The last row of the third column.”

Everyone in the classroom turned to look at the position the homeroom teacher mentioned.

The students in the corridor also peered through the window, their eyes full of curiosity. The boys widened their eyes even further; at their age, in adolescence, they already had the ability to distinguish beauty from ugliness and a fascination for beauty.

Wu Yihao squeezed beside Cui Wenyan, his eyes wide: ”Wow, I really envy my aunt, she actually gets to sit with such a beauty.”

In the classroom, Tianmiao smiled and answered, ”I didn’t come to the wrong room, I’m Cui Wenyan’s aunt.”

”Oh! Sorry, sorry, my apologies.” The homeroom teacher hurriedly apologized, awkwardly adjusting his glasses to try to ease the discomfort, ”Misunderstanding, then let’s start the parent-teacher meeting. First, hand out the report cards to each parent.”
