The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

”Ah! Master! Hearing you talk about this, it reminded me of something. I have something very important to tell you. Those bad people want to steal your property, but soon none of that will matter. The world is about to change! The apocalypse that humans speak of is coming. You must carefully read the notebook that Dong Xiao gave you. And, Master, start stocking up on things quickly. Take out what your mother left you; I can help you keep it safe.” Xiaolu said urgently, ”I really am so scatter-brained, I felt like I was forgetting something very important.”

”What? Apocalypse?!!” Xu Yuxi was shocked, lifting Xiaolu from her shoulder to look him in the eye, ”Is the apocalypse really coming? Just like in the TV shows?”

”Yes. Master, hurry up and make use of your time wisely. It won’t be long, maybe about one week left. You have to believe me, it’s true!” Xiaolu urged, his tone becoming increasingly anxious.

”Alright. I’ll start preparing now.” Xu Yuxi stood up, placing Xiaolu back on her shoulder, with Xiaolu clinging onto her long hair, swaying and adding more details by her ear.

”You need to stock up on food, medicine, daily necessities, and weapons. Xiaolu is too useless and can’t help you fight, Master, but I can help you pack stuff. I have a large pocket in my belly that can store quite a lot.” Xiaolu said, feeling guilty.

”Space?” Xu Yuxi said in surprise. When Xiaolu mentioned taking out the things her mother left and giving them to him to keep, she had some suspicions, but didn’t expect it to be the case.

”Yes, space, it has...” Xiaolu looked around the living room, made a gesture with his small hand, ”About the size of this room, I guess.”

Xu Yuxi was even more delighted—this villa’s living room was as large as thirty-five square meters, which meant quite a lot could be stored.

”I’ll first place some orders for items.” After speaking, Xu Yuxi’s gaze lingered on the notebook placed on the coffee table. That guide to apocalypse survival was recorded in great detail. Xu Yuxi took the notebook and went up to the study on the second floor, turned on the computer, and began posting on some websites and blogs.

She posted the contents of the apocalypse survival guide online verbatim.

”They won’t believe it.” Xiaolu stood beside the keyboard, glanced at the screen, then at the keyboard Xu Yuxi was typing on rapidly.

”Whether they believe it or not, I have to try and spread this. Maybe this way I can save some people?” Xu Yuxi didn’t turn her head, continuing to upload posts quickly.

These posts naturally didn’t have many believers. But some people read the posts carefully and commented, thanking the poster for the share, saying it was well-argued and very interesting. Most people viewed it as entertainment.

After finishing these tasks, Xu Yuxi began ordering some items online, including food, drinks, daily supplies, clothing, and medicines. Once done, she called Zhou Shiqiu.

Quickly, the other side answered, clearly Zhou Shiqiu was still very worried about her.

Xu Yuxi didn’t want to explain much, so she lowered her voice and asked, ”Shiqiu, can you come stay with me for a few days? I can’t sleep alone. I keep thinking about past things.”

”Okay, I’ll be right over. What do you want for dinner tonight? Shall we have hot pot together? We can make it ourselves.” Zhou Shiqiu suggested.
