The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

Chapter 343: Chapter 50: The Elf Prince’s Wish

The one who killed the girl was a vampire hunter. He discovered the girl’s vampire nature and loathed her actions of constantly defending vampires. His lover was drained of all her blood by a vampire, leaving behind a three-year-old child to live with him. Therefore, he harbored a deep-seated hatred for vampires.

Upon seeing the girl with vampire fangs, he was convinced that she was a spy for the Blood Clan and that everything was a conspiracy. Thus, he vented his hatred by killing the girl. However, the dismemberment was not done by him, but by other humans who also hated vampires.

It was at this moment that the seeds of hatred were planted. Even after the Blood Clan eventually signed a peace agreement due to Dawn Academy’s involvement, Jerry never considered giving up his vengeance. But he was merely an ordinary vampire; it was impossible for him to pass through the magic array barrier into Shud City unharmed. Day by day, he watched everything from a distance, waiting for the opportunity to arrive.

The vampire hunter who killed the girl back then was the grandfather of City Lord Buck.

Jerry was mad with the desire for revenge.

It was at this time that a figure in a black robe—or rather, a creature in a black robe—found Jerry and asked if he wanted revenge.

Jerry retorted with a cold smile, asking if that wasn’t obvious.

The black-robed figure proposed a contract with Jerry, offering him great power, but the condition was his soul. After stating this, he remembered, ”I forgot, you vampires have no soul. Never mind, as a condition of exchange, you just need to massacre humans, the more, the better.”

Jerry naturally longed for such terms. The fire of hatred he felt for humans was nearly consuming him.

Then Jerry began his path of revenge, starting with a few homeless people and then moving on to Buck’s wife and children.

The next targets would be Buck and the other humans in the city.

It was at this time that Tianmiao and the others arrived in Shud City.

Jerry hid his heart here; as long as his heart remains undestroyed, he will never die.

And now, Tianmiao and Xia Chuanyue had discovered his heart.

Jerry could no longer bother with tangled mess with Camille and Dean, frantically rushing over.

Xia Chuanyue had woken up from that memory with a complex expression. As she saw Jerry charging forward with a ferocious face, she suddenly asked, ”You say that the one who consistently worked for friendly coexistence between humans and the Blood Clan, seeing your insane actions, what would she think? Of course, I admit I might sound smug saying this, since it’s not my lover who died. Oh, saying ’smug’ means things didn’t happen to me personally, yet I presumptuously make some righteous statements.”

Jerry halted his attack, looking at Xia Chuanyue with ridicule, ”So, since it didn’t happen to you, of course you have no right to make any decisions for others.”

”So I imagine, if it happened to me.” Xia Chuanyue glanced at the approaching Camille, then said seriously to Jerry, ”If it were me, I too would seek revenge, and I’d do it ruthlessly. Even if it meant selling my soul.”

”You’re not planning to stop me anymore?” Jerry’s expression slightly eased.

”Listen to the rest,” Xia Chuanyue shook her head gently, ”I would spare no effort for revenge. However, there’s a saying that debts have debtors. I would only seek revenge against my true enemies, I wouldn’t harm the innocent. Nor would I be fancy in wanting to destroy the whole world as burial.”
