I Only Wanted A Class In The Apocalypse

Chapter 1856: Roranto Race Token

Hye didnʼt forget his own growth, either. He diverted a massive portion of the highest-grade crystals into his own Crystal Heart, fueling the engine of his personal power for the trials ahead.

Across his territory, Hyeʼs friends were being bombarded by notifications. One by one, they opened their inventories to find not just the items they had dreamed of, but a hoard of resources that defied all reason.

The shock was absolute. They had expected a few shipments; Hye had sent them the contents of an empireʼs warehouse.

The message was clear: The period of preparation was over. The age of expansion had begun.

As the final data packets and inventory transfers cleared his system, Hyeʼs private comms channels erupted with a flurry of activity.

His friends and generals, overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the resources he had dropped into their laps, realised they couldnʼt process this alone.

They immediately convened an emergency high-level summit—excluding Hye. They needed time to digest the implications of their new wealth, to categorise the ”junk” that turned out to be treasure, and to form a cohesive front before their Lord returned to demand results.

Hye didnʼt mind the exclusion. When they messaged him for clarification, he simply informed them that he would remain in seclusion at the palace for a few days.

This wasnʼt a vacation; it was a deep-dive into the mechanics of his new empire. He needed to draft a blueprint for the next era, knowing that his impending departure for the Outer Battlefield would leave a power vacuum if he wasnʼt meticulous.

He anticipated the Outer Battlefield with a mixture of cold pragmatism and burning ambition. It was a gamble of the highest order.

Those who survived that theatre of war would return with the seal of Level 2 unlocked—a transformation that would elevate his military might from planetary defenders to cosmic conquerors.

The dilemma gnawed at him: who to take, and who to leave? If he took his best generals and most elite veterans, he ensured success in the Outer Battlefield but left his home territory vulnerable to the jealous eyes of the Toranks or the remnants of the traitors.

If he left his best behind, he risked his own life and the future of his kingdom on the front lines.

This was the most severe decision he faced, and he needed a general layout of his ”Order of Battle” before he sat down with Lily, Legend, and the others.

”Now,” Hye whispered, his eyes narrowing as he turned his attention to the most mysterious part of the trade. ”Letʼs see whatʼs so ʼuselessʼ about these thousands of races.”

He pulled a single token from his inventory. It was fundamentally different from the warrior tokens he was used to. It was larger, cast in a heavy, resonance-conducting alloy, and pulsed with a faint, dormant heartbeat.

The tokens were colour-coded in a hierarchy that mimicked the systemʼs rarity tiers: white, green, blue, gold, black, and a haunting, vibrant red.

Hye picked up a golden token and focused his spiritual sense on it. As the system interface flickered to life, he found himself sitting bolt upright on his throne, his eyes shining with a fierce, predatory light.

[Roranto Race Token]

[Grade: Gold]

[Status: Lost Race of a Failed Apocalypse]

[Details: This is a summoning token for a civilisation that lost its standing in the universe. During their own apocalypse, they refused to submit to the higher rulers as slaves. Instead, they chose to seal their entire species into a state of stasis within these tokens, waiting for a Lord who could meet their price.]

[Allegiance Condition: Drop a single drop of blood and fulfil the specific Trial of Will set by the raceʼs elders.]

[Unsealing Condition: Provide U.stat crystals to initiate the awakening, enough to reach one tenth of level one for every member of the race.]

[Result of Unsealing: Gaining 100,000,000,000 (one hundred billion) members of the race.]

[System Remarks: It is advised to unseal this race over a territory consisting of at least ten large planets or thirty small ones to accommodate the immediate population explosion.]

[Special Note: The Roranto were legendary warmongers. While they lack high-level industrial intelligence, their innate magical affinity is terrifying. With proper training and support, they are easily ranked within the Top 100 strongest Mage Races in the known universe.]

”Impressive doesnʼt even begin to cover it,” Hye muttered, his voice raspy with shock. He reread the message three times to ensure he hadnʼt hallucinated the zeros.

For a bulk payment of U.stat crystals—something he now had in abundance—he could instantly spawn an army of a hundred billion mages who were sworn to his blood.

His current military was heavily weighted toward physical combatants and shield-bearers. He had always lacked a dedicated, mass-scale magical artillery corps. The Roranto didnʼt just fill a gap; they created an entirely new dimension of power for his kingdom.

He looked down at the mountain of tokens remaining in his inventory. If a Gold-grade token provided a hundred billion mages, what did the Black-grade tokens hold? And the Red ones—the ones that pulsed with a colour that looked like fresh blood?

He checked a Black-grade token next. It contained a race of master architects and void-smiths, capable of building star-fortresses out of raw asteroids. He checked a Red-grade token and found a ”Guardian Race” whose individual power floors started at the cap of Level 1.

The Hescos had considered these ”useless” because the cost of unsealing them—the millions of U.stat crystals and the massive planetary real estate required—was a logistical burden they didnʼt want to carry for ”failed” species.

To an established empire, a hundred billion hungry mages was a famine. To Hye, who had just bought tens of thousands of artificial planets and possessed a bottomless vault of crystals, they were the legions of a god.

Hye threw his head back and laughed, the sound echoing through the cold, empty halls of the palace. The ”junk” he had bought was an instant empire, waiting to be born.
