Delta is Coming, Big Red Has Special Effects

395: Profiting from warAfter experiencing that brush with death, the big brother’s face lost all its former vitality.

His legs went weak, and he collapsed onto the ground.

At the same time, a puddle of yellow liquid quickly spread across the ground.

”Holy shit! It’s a real gun!! This is real!!”

Incredulity was etched onto everyone’s faces.

The deafening gunshot that had just rung out, along with how the big brother’s hair had been blown back by the shockwave as the bullet whistled past, were enough to prove that this was an out-and-out real gun!

Furthermore, if the gun was real...

...then the bullet was, in all likelihood, not a fake either!

Thinking of this, everyone swallowed in unison and looked at Liu Yan.

That is to say...

...this guy just now... was actually fucking arrogant enough to fire a Level 6 bullet just to prove the gun was real?!

For an ordinary person, a Level 6 bullet naturally holds no significance, or if it does, it’s just something to find a way to sell off.

But for Hafke, they would buy it back at a high price.

And even for Hafke, it would be absolutely impossible to stuff a Level 6 bullet into a gun like an M14.

Putting it into a sniper rifle is the most cost-effective approach!

Just then, an abrupt voice rang out in front of the previously silent stall:

”Please open your mouth.”

”Please shake your head.”

Beep————

It turned out that the man who had previously said he wanted to buy a gun had already performed a series of actions in front of his phone.

After a beep sounded, he hurriedly pushed aside the people blocking him and quickly arrived in front of the stall.

He pointed repeatedly at the M7 battle rifle lying quietly there.

”I’ll take it, I’ll take it!! 800,000, I’ll transfer it to you right now!!”

Seeing this, Liu Yan smiled and turned his head to nod at Roy.

The latter quickly reacted and took out his own phone.

After that person transferred the money, Roy saw the 800,000 haf coins hit his account on his phone.

His breathing couldn’t help but become a bit rapid.

These people didn’t know, but he had seen it with his own eyes.

Guns like this!!

Liu Yan still had a whole pile of them!!

With that person leading the way, others also realized this was a good opportunity to make a profit from the price difference, and they all followed suit.

Ten guns were snatched up in less than two minutes.

”Wait for me here, I’ll go get some more.”

Liu Yan patted Roy on the shoulder, then stood up and left the stall.

When he returned again.

He was once again carrying five fully modified gun barrels in each hand.

...

Five hours later.

”We’re rich! We’ve made a fortune!!”

”Look, look! Two hundred million!! We sold two hundred million in just one day!!”

Roy held his phone in one hand and grabbed Liu Yan’s clothes with the other, shaking him continuously, his eyes gleaming as he made Liu Yan look at the numbers on the phone.

”I’m not blind.”

”If you shake me any more, my brains are going to be scrambled.”

Liu Yan, speechless, shook off Roy’s hand.

Subsequently, Liu Yan turned his attention to the hurried customers in the market.

Although five hours had passed, in fact, two hours ago, the two of them had already sold 170 million.

That is to say, the last two hours combined only accounted for 30 million in sales.

After the initial joy, Roy also gradually realized this problem.

On the transfer records he saw, he could clearly see the gap in income between the beginning and the end.

”What’s going on? There are clearly more people now than before, so why is no one buying?”

Roy couldn’t quite figure it out.

He had originally thought the morning’s explosive sales were just the beginning, but he hadn’t expected it to be the peak.

Liu Yan pondered for a while, then spoke slowly:

”It might be because the people who bought them were all taking out loans to buy them, intending to sell them at a higher price elsewhere and earn the price difference.”

”But one loan isn’t enough for them to buy multiple firearms.”

”The people left now either can’t afford them, or they don’t dare to go all-in to make this money like those others did.”

After finishing, Liu Yan turned his head and looked at Roy with dead fish eyes:

”At the end of the day, it’s because the market you chose has too poor a customer base.”

”Their budget for buying guns here is only a few tens of thousands, or even less than two hundred thousand.”

Roy scratched his head after hearing this.

”I don’t know where the high-end trading markets are either...”

”How about we sell those cheap guns too?”

Liu Yan immediately waved his hand.

”I do have those trash guns, but wasting time on that is not as good as just exchanging gold coins for haf coins.”

After all, Liu Yan couldn’t pull a pile of guns out in public; he could only take out a portion at a time.

If he took out a dozen MP5s at once and only sold them for a few hundred thousand, it wouldn’t even be worth the hassle.

After listening, Roy understood the reason for this.

But not long after, Roy began to sigh and groan on the side.

”What’s wrong with you again?” Liu Yan asked, somewhat puzzled.

Could your mood swings be any faster?

”I heard what you said earlier, about how they buy from us and go elsewhere to sell at a high price to make that difference.”

”I suddenly feel like we’re a bit like suckers.”

”We’re losing out on 100,000 to 200,000 per gun.”

”But it really is ’the bold are stuffed to death, the timid are starved to death’.”

”If I had their brains before, I might have been able to make a fortune by reselling too.”

Hearing Roy finish, Liu Yan finally showed understanding.

”So that’s why.”

”You don’t need to worry about that.”

”Don’t forget, we have a lot of guns, which means we have a lot of capital.”

”After they resell their guns and make money, they will continue to come back to us to buy more.”

”We’ll continue to sell to them at the original price, and when their initial accumulation is enough, they will start hoarding stock.”

”At that time, we’ll start raising prices, and they will correspondingly raise their prices as well.”

”But our price increase will just be the original price they sell to others at, but they can’t do that; they will raise theirs even higher.”

”By then, there will be a situation where others can’t afford to buy.”

After Liu Yan finished speaking, Roy’s brows gradually furrowed, and he then raised his own question:

”Then after we raise prices, is it possible they just won’t come to us to stock up anymore?”

”After all, by then, it won’t be easy for them to sell at a markup.”

Liu Yan nodded.

”Correct.”

”At that time, we’ll just slash our prices.”

”Limited by their funds, they won’t be able to buy the dip even if they want to.”

”During this process, we will continue to lower prices.”

”Until they can’t take the pressure and sell off the guns in their hands early.”

”After we take them back, we’ll just raise the prices again.”

”This way, we get our guns back, and we’ve also earned their money.”

After Liu Yan finished, although Roy didn’t fully understand, he still felt that it might not be very feasible in practice.

”By the way, I just realized something; I knew something felt off.”

”What if they choose not to buy these two guns? It’s not like other cheap guns can’t be used.”

After Roy finished, Liu Yan didn’t refute him, but smiled and nodded.

”Unless...”

”...they have no other choice.”

”Don’t forget, no matter how many guns there are, I can store them in my vacuum cleaner, and they won’t take up any space.”

”In a few days, I’ll buy up all the other firearms on the market.”

”You said before that only by moving away from here, and having guns, can they feel safe.”

”As long as our gun prices aren’t higher than the cost of them moving away, there won’t be any problem.”

”Under the pressure of survival, even if the price doubles overall, they will still buy, because life is always more important than money.”

”In the end, we’ll be pulling ourselves up by our own bootstraps; we’ll have our original guns back, and we’ll have also acquired a bunch of other people’s guns at a low price.”

”Besides that, the money we used to acquire the guns initially will be earned back when we sell them at double the price later, and even more!!”

During Liu Yan’s explanation, Roy stared at him with wide eyes the entire time.

At the same time, he kept swallowing.

Finally, he couldn’t help it and squeezed a sentence out from his throat:

”This...”

”...aren’t you just war profiteering?!”

Liu Yan immediately shook his head.

”No, no, no, don’t pin that label on me.”

”Think about it, after I raise the prices of all firearms, won’t those who already have guns be able to sell them at a high price too?”

Roy nodded.

”That’s right, once they sell their own guns, they’ll have the capital to leave here, right?”

”Everything has two sides.”

”Can those people really survive the war between Hafke and Asara just by holding onto their guns?”

”Doing this at least saves some people.”

This time, Roy’s head was truly spinning.

He looked at Liu Yan with his mouth wide open.

”Your codename shouldn’t be Chen Yu.”

”You should be called Satan.”

”How are you even human, brother? You don’t have a shred of conscience!!”

Just as Roy was getting excited and about to stand up, Liu Yan raised his hand to stop him.

”Hey, wait a second.”

Liu Yan pointed to the hand holding the phone and signaled for him to look at the string of numbers on the screen.

213,000,763 haf coins.

”Think about that money.”

”Think about the humiliation we suffered yesterday because we didn’t have money.”

”In a place full of war, if you want to survive on your own terms...”

”...resources are always the most important thing.”

”With money and resources, people will come to you uninvited.”

”Once our overall strength is powerful enough, we might even be able to achieve unification.”

”We’re basically promoting world peace, aren’t we?”

Roy looked at the cold string of numbers on his phone, which he had never seen before, and the corners of his mouth couldn’t help but turn upwards.

”I think what you said makes some sense.”
