MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1722 1722: Skills of a Rank 5 (1)

Ding!

As he went through the long list of notifications he received from his ascension, it went without saying that Ataraxia was first greeted by notifications regarding the improvements to his stats.

[Your species ʼReforged Mystic Human | True Defier of Fate (4th Unsealing)ʼ has been changed to ʼReforged Mystic Human | True Defier of Fate (5th Unsealing)ʼ.]

[As you have transitioned to a higher-level species, you have gained +91 VIT, +84 STR, +87 AGI, +84 DEX, +143 INT, +138 WIS, +82 PER, and +69 LUK.]

[Your class ʼEmissary of the Arcane (Mythic+ — Growth)ʼ has been improved to adapt to Rank 5 standards.]

[You have gained +7 VIT, +6 STR, +6 AGI, +6 DEX, +17 INT, +17 WIS, +6 PER, and +1 LUK.]

[Your subclass ʼScribe of the Great Arcane (Epic)ʼ has been improved to adapt to Rank 5 standards.]

[You have gained +6 VIT, +6 DEX, +11 INT, +11 WIS, and +4 PER.]

[You have gained 8 unassigned stat points.]

Though he had already expected most of his gains from the ascension to come from the evolution of his species, the young man was still caught slightly off guard when he found out how much he actually gained from it through the notifications.

ʼPart of the reason behind the insane boost is due to all of the elixirs Iʼve consumed in the past,ʼ murmured Ataraxia to himself.

ʼThen again, the fact that I have a Mythic grade class also contributes a lot to the insane amount of stats Iʼve received from the evolution.ʼ

After going through the notifications regarding his stats, the young man then moved on to the next set of notifications, all of which contained features that were only unlocked once one ascended to Rank 5.

[[Your level of access to the Technology Tree has been improved. You are now eligible to unlock Advanced-level advancements from the Technology Tree.]

[Your level of access to the Technology Tree has been improved. More advancements have now been made available to you.]

ʼ…Huh.ʼ

As he read through the notifications related to the Technology Tree, Ataraxia paused for a brief moment as a feeling of realization washed over him not long after.

ʼNow that I think about it, I havenʼt really unlocked any advancements from the Technology Tree after visiting the Mage Guild the last time.ʼ

Scratching the back of his head as the thought came to mind, a slight frown soon appeared on the young manʼs face.

ʼCompared to Valyr, the only advancements I have unlocked are all Basic-level ones from the Combat branch,ʼ he muttered to himself, inwardly letting out a sigh soon after.

ʼAlthough I donʼt know if unlocking any advancements from the Innovation branch would prove useful for my current abilities, unlocking some from the Production branch would definitely help my subclass get somewhere.ʼ

As those words lingered in his mind, the young man began to rub his chin in contemplation. ʼI wonder how many Technology Points Iʼd get from the Mage Guild if I were to head there right now?ʼ

After pondering over his next steps after the ascension a bit more, Ataraxia eventually returned his attention back towards the remaining notifications.

[You have arrived at the final step on the path to transcending mortality.]

[With the experiences and knowledges youʼve accumulated throughout your journey, it could be said that a unique view towards the world has been unknowingly cultivated.]

[Whether it be through your actions, your words, or your mannerisms, this unique view appears throughout all of it, acting as a source of power that is barely within reach.]

[However, it is possible to harness this unique view and transform it into oneʼs power.]

[Combined with oneʼs comprehension of the world, once this unique view is imprinted into the world, the path to transcending mortality shall truly open.]

[The ability to form a Legacy has been unlocked.]

ʼAnd so, it finally appears.ʼ

Taking in a deep breath as he read through these notifications, the young manʼs expression gradually became solemn.

Acting as one of the final steps needed to break through the shackles of mortality, a Legacy was incredibly important not just on the path to the pinnacle, but also as a source of stats.

Though a Legacy was effectively the culmination and condensation of oneʼs experiences into something more tangible, the act of forming a Legacy was separated into multiple steps.

Similar to Intents, Legacies started off in the form of Legacy Seeds, which focused more on the general idea of what the Legacy would encompass rather than creating the entire Legacy itself.

Although weak at first, the effects of this Legacy Seed gradually improved the clearer the idea of oneʼs Legacy became, with each milestone being separated into a specific Form.

By the time oneʼs Legacy Seed had reached the 3rd Form, it could be said that one already had a good idea of what kind of Legacy one would be able to create.

However, just because oneʼs Legacy Seed had gotten that far did not mean that oneʼs Legacy had been established.

Instead, one would first have to associate a certain image to the Legacy, allowing it to enter a stage where all it took was a single action to imprint oneʼs Legacy into the world.

Yet, almost every person who had reached this stage of forming their Legacy would delay this step as long as possible.

After all, the depth and clarity of the image and idea they had for their Legacy dictated the rarity it would have the moment they imprinted it into the world.

ʼ…There are a couple of paths I could take that would guarantee a decently strong Legacy,ʼ thought Ataraxia to himself as he removed the notifications he went through from his screen.

ʼHowever, that would probably have to wait for when Valyr and I reach the peak of Rank 5.ʼ

Not bothering to give Legacies any further thought for the meantime, the young man swiftly shifted his focus back towards the remaining notifications.

ʼOh?ʼ Seeing that the final set of notifications involved new skills from both his main class and subclass, Ataraxia raised his eyebrow in curiosity as he went through each one.

[You have obtained the active skill ʼArcane Axiom: Path of Annihilationʼ.]

[You have obtained the active skill ʼDescent of the Arcane Supremeʼ.]

[You have obtained the passive skill ʼArcane Art of Dexterous Inscriptionʼ.]

ʼTwo from the main class, and one from the subclass,ʼ muttered the young man with a slight nod.

ʼNow… time to see what each one does.ʼ
