I Contracted All Ancient Divine Artifacts

Chapter 104: Chapter 3: The Mad Plan

After Han Zhan finished speaking, the entire room fell silent.

The plan was too crazy.

Yet amidst the madness, it somehow perfectly fit their current situation.

Without madness, life cannot thrive!

They had thought of these methods before, but due to too many concerns and some conservative approaches, they hadn’t considered it until now.

However, Han Zhan was different.

After hearing the plan, Lin Jingxuan pondered briefly, his mind racing, and quickly came up with several suitable options.

”The first possible location is Chunrao City. It’s only a thousand kilometers away from Julu Pass vertically. It’s the city we can reach the fastest.”

”Choosing Chunrao City would have the least risk. By the time Can Shang Company reacts, we would already be back inside the pass, safest of all.”

Han Zhan glanced at the map on the table. Chunrao City and Julu Pass were indeed very close.

But after thinking it over, he shook his head.

”A single city alone can provide too few energy bricks. North County has a total of thirty-two cities of varying sizes, each needing ten energy bricks a month. Relying on Chunrao City alone is a drop in the bucket.”

”Moreover, such an act of plundering energy bricks can only be done once. The second time, when Can Shang Company is prepared, it will be even more difficult to raid.”

Han Zhan analyzed.

Lin Jingxuan nodded after hearing him, agreeing with his judgment.

Thus, he spoke of his second location, which he favored more.

”Then let’s choose Hezhu City. Hezhu City is about five thousand kilometers away from North County and has always been a major consumer of energy by Great Xia. It must have a substantial stockpile of energy bricks.”

”If we raid here, tightening our belts in terms of energy for half a year wouldn’t be a problem.”

Upon hearing Lin Jingxuan’s words, Wei Qing immediately slapped the table hard.

”Then it’s settled!”

”Let’s do it. I’ll go notify and gather the brothers with good arms and legs from the First War Zone, and we’ll set off as soon as it gets dark!”

Lin Jingxuan ignored him, continuing to look at Han Zhan, wanting to hear his opinion.

Han Zhan propped his chin with one hand and pondered slightly.

”From the current standpoint, this is indeed a relatively secure location. But there are still two issues.”

”First, everyone knows Hezhu City is an energy city, and Can Shang Company does too. So Hezhu City’s defenses are certainly stronger than other cities, making a night raid difficult. Once dragged into a prolonged battle, enemy reinforcements will quickly arrive.”

”Second, the distance. At five thousand kilometers, even at full speed, it will take quite some time. Look here, here, and here.”

Han Zhan pointed out three areas on the map, ”If I were in Can Shang Company, I would set up pursuit troops at these three locations. With Can Shang Company’s mobility, they can catch up to us quickly.”

Wei Qing usually hated listening to analyses, feeling it was all too much worrying and not pure enough in intent.

”This won’t work, that won’t work, then name a place!” Wei Qing slapped the table, grumbling, ”If we’re heading south, then show some momentum. Didn’t you speak so eloquently at the teacher’s funeral?”

”Wei Qing.” Lin Jingxuan adjusted his glasses, reminding him.

Han Zhan understood his senior brother’s temperament and wasn’t bothered.

He glanced around.

Lin Jingxuan set down his cup, and as the ripples in the cup spread, the surrounding room had already transformed into a pure white space.

An unspoken understanding between brothers.

No need for words.

”This is my pure white space, speak your true thoughts.” Lin Jingxuan paused, ”Since you proposed this idea, you must have a chosen location.”

As expected, it was impossible to hide it from second brother Lin Jingxuan.

Han Zhan smiled, though there was a hint of madness in that smile.

He gently pointed to a region on the map.

When Han Zhan pointed to that area, Lin Jingxuan instinctively adjusted his glasses, and Wei Qing stopped grumbling.

They both looked up, with expressions on their faces that said, ”Are you crazy?” toward Han Zhan.

”You all have heard of Titan City, right?”

How could they not have heard of Titan City?

As the main city of Can Shang Company, it was the most technologically advanced city on Blue Star and the headquarters of Can Shang Company!

It had the most advanced technology, the most powerful armament, the most terrifying firepower, and even the name Titan City represented the ultimate war fortress of Can Shang Company, the strategic ultimate weapon - Titan Fortress!

It was something that even Tier Nine Ultimate Powerhouses had to consider carefully, the very foundation of Can Shang Company’s foothold in this plague-scarred end world.

But now, Han Zhan was pointing to Titan City on the map, his eyes filled with madness yet resolute.

This time, it was Wei Qing who fell silent.

Though a battle maniac, he wasn’t a fool. Even at Great Xia’s peak, they hadn’t thought about confronting Titan City, let alone now.

Just now, he was calling Han Zhan a coward, and unexpectedly, this little junior brother was taking on something huge that left him speechless.

”Are you serious?” Lin Jingxuan, though initially finding it absurd, would have kicked someone out if it weren’t Han Zhan, and instead was Wei Qing.

Because it was Han Zhan, he confirmed once more.

”Yes, I’m very serious, more serious than ever before.”

”If we’re going to rob, let’s rob big!”

”Do they not love stealing from my Great Xia? Do they not think that killing the teacher by calculation and feeling so smug?”

”Senior brother was right! If we’re heading south, we should go big!”

At this, Lin Jingxuan looked over at the nearby senior brother Wei Qing, who was dumbfounded.

Wei Qing almost choked on Han Zhan’s words. He never imagined that one day someone would use his words against him!

That’s not me! I didn’t say that! Stop spouting nonsense!

”Ahem, well, Old Jiu, we know you’re keen on avenging the teacher, but that’s Titan City...”

”If we’re heading south, show some momentum!” Han Zhan slapped the table, mimicking, and Wei Qing’s face turned black.

Return to seriousness.

Han Zhan turned his gaze to Lin Jingxuan, continuing to explain: ”There are three reasons I chose Titan City.”

”First reason, Titan City is Can Shang Company’s main city. No place has as many energy bricks as Titan City!”

”Second reason, since even you find it unbelievable, Can Shang Company surely wouldn’t expect us to raid Titan City. This seemingly suicidal act does hold a possibility of success.”

”As for the third reason, although I have spoken eloquently before, my prestige is only temporary. If I cannot accomplish something to solidify it, the expectations and faith of North County’s people in me would collapse.”

Regardless, Han Zhan had reasons that made it imperative for him to go.

”And going to Titan City requires fewer people, the fewer, the better. If I infiltrate alone, the risk is even lower!”

Han Zhan’s analysis left them speechless.
