Supreme Warrior in the City

Su Yang flew out from this star without delay and immediately headed to the previous star.

He needed to prove something and see what material the previous star was made of.

Upon reaching that star, Su Yang rushed in and saw that irregular blood shadow inside the room.

Everything around was exactly the same as the situation with the hexagonal blood shadow’s star. The stone walls were made of wood, all made from the branches of the World Tree.

Su Yang was completely bewildered; two stars of such size would consume a terrifying amount of World Tree branches. If someone had really cut down such a large section of the World Tree’s branches, it would have long spread; it’s impossible for no one to know!

But now, what is this situation?

Why has no one ever mentioned this?

Su Yang’s heart was filled with doubt, but these two blood shadows were the kind that would never answer your questions. Su Yang wanted to inquire, but there was no way to, so he left with uncertainty.

He flew over and found Ye Wantong and the other two, who were anxiously waiting for Su Yang.

The Eternal Divine Emperor and the Supreme Dragon Emperor were seriously injured, given the lack of spiritual energy, it was very difficult for them to recover.

Upon Su Yang’s arrival, there was a large amount of spiritual energy available to them in the Earth Principle, allowing the two to finally absorb the spiritual energy and heal their injuries.

”Ah, this time was really dangerous!” The Eternal Divine Emperor sighed, ”Those two blood shadows’ power is truly overwhelming. If you hadn’t arrived in time, we two would have been in real trouble this time!”

”Indeed, the blood shadow’s combat power is too strong. Moreover, I feel like those blood shadows seem to have the ability to slay the strongest!” The Supreme Dragon Emperor was frustrated, ”Isn’t it said that once you become the strongest, you’re immortal? Why do those blood shadows have the ability to slay the strongest?”

These questions, Su Yang could not answer. He took a deep breath and recounted the situation he had just found during his investigation of those two stars.

After listening to Su Yang, everyone was stunned, all staring at Su Yang in shock.

”Su Alliance Leader, is what you said true?” The Eternal Divine Emperor exclaimed, ”How is that possible? The World Tree was only cut down to make those three wooden boxes and keys, no one else has ever cut it down!”

”I know this too!” The Supreme Dragon Emperor nodded, ”The World Tree is the foundation of space, cutting it down is not easy. Moreover, the World Tree has been in the hands of Palace Master Yu Ling ever since, and no one can cut it down anymore!”

”Then where did these branches come from?” Su Yang was full of doubt, ”So many branches are needed to make those two stars!”

”Uh…” The Eternal Divine Emperor and the Supreme Dragon Emperor looked at each other, unable to answer this question.

”Could it be branches from other World Trees?” Ye Wantong suddenly said.

”Other World Trees?” The three looked at her simultaneously.

”Yes, other World Trees!” Ye Wantong said, ”Weren’t there many World Trees in the Land of Origin? Some of those World Trees were withered, some were still growing, maybe those stars were made from those World Trees’ branches!”

Su Yang and the others looked at each other, their expressions turning serious.

”You know, that might actually be possible!” The Supreme Dragon Emperor was the first to speak, ”If it’s not our World Tree, then it must be the other World Trees. With so many World Trees, cutting down some branches to make those two stars wouldn’t be difficult!”

The Eternal Divine Emperor wondered, ”But why were these stars never discovered before?”

”Why talk about before, a single world wasn’t this big before!” The Supreme Dragon Emperor said, ”Look at how vast this Great World is now, we’ve been flying for such a long time without finding an end, isn’t that strange?”

”It’s true!” The Eternal Divine Emperor nodded, ”It’s really strange how big this Great World has become. Why can’t we reach the edge of the Great World?”

Ye Wantong remained silent, looking at the quietly pondering Su Yang.

After a long time, Su Yang finally raised his head and said in a deep voice, ”Everyone, I have a very bold hypothesis.”

”What hypothesis?” The three quickly asked.

Su Yang said, ”Why do you think the space of our Great World suddenly expanded so much?”

The Eternal Divine Emperor and the other three looked at each other, the Supreme Dragon Emperor scratched his head, ”Isn’t it those Heavenly Venerables’ doing, leading to the expansion of the world’s space!”

”I know it’s their doing, but the key question is, what exactly did they do!” Su Yang said seriously, ”To make space expand, either stretch the space or merge other spaces to cause the expansion. And whichever method is used, powerful force must be there to support. But we didn’t feel such power at all, yet the space expanded suddenly, what exactly is going on?”

No one answered; they couldn’t figure out what’s going on either.

”What exactly is your hypothesis!” The Eternal Divine Emperor asked.

Su Yang said, ”Do you think it’s possible that our World Tree merged with another World Tree?”

”What?” The three exclaimed simultaneously, the Supreme Dragon Emperor’s eyes widened, ”What kind of joke is that, how could World Trees merge?”

”Why can’t World Trees merge?” Su Yang asked rhetorically.

”Uh…” The Supreme Dragon Emperor was dumbfounded, unable to answer the question.

”The World Tree is the foundation of space, if our World Tree merged with another World Tree, it would be like doubling our space!” Su Yang said seriously, ”Think of the situation when we were scattered before, our distance seemed to double suddenly without any warning, and we didn’t feel any power fluctuation during the whole process!”

”It’s precisely because the World Trees merged, our Great World’s space expanded. Previously a single Great World’s range, now with the fusion of a World Tree, it would double; the current one Great World is equivalent to two Great Worlds now!”

The three exchanged glances and nodded simultaneously. This was something they could understand.

”But the distance between us didn’t just double, did it!” The Supreme Dragon Emperor wondered, ”And if it’s two Great Worlds’ range, we should’ve flown out long ago, why can we never reach the edge?”

”My previous hypothesis was of just one World Tree fusion, but the problem is, we might not have just merged one World Tree!” Su Yang said softly, ”We might have merged ten World Trees, a hundred World Trees, ten thousand, or even all the World Trees in the Land of Origin!”
