Supreme Warrior in the City

Su Yang tightly held onto Ye Wantong, and the distance between them continued to expand. However, since they were holding hands, this distance couldn’t tear them apart entirely.

In order to offset the damage caused by the distance expansion, they increased their speed to the maximum and continued flying towards each other.

It was unknown how much time passed before the two finally flew back together again. At this point, the distance between them finally stabilized, no longer experiencing sudden expansions.

Even so, they didn’t dare to be careless, still holding each other’s hands tightly, fearing that the distance might suddenly change again.

After waiting for a long time and seeing that the distance still hadn’t changed, they could finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Of course, they still didn’t dare to let go, as who knows what might happen next.

Ye Wantong looked around and said solemnly, ”Where did everyone else go? What exactly is happening?”

Su Yang also frowned deeply, finding it hard to imagine this situation.

”It should be those Heavenly Venerables!” Su Yang said solemnly, ”They used the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet to create a passage in the air, surely with some plan, which has led to this situation.”

”But how did they manage to suddenly expand the distance between us?” Ye Wantong asked curiously, ”I didn’t feel any power fluctuations; the distance just seemed to expand suddenly, which is very strange.”

Su Yang carefully recalled the situation at the time and didn’t feel any power fluctuations either, which puzzled him greatly.

”That feeling was as if the space suddenly expanded.” Su Yang said, ”Did you feel it?”

”Suddenly expanding space? That would require formidable power!” Ye Wantong said, ”But I didn’t feel power, nor did I feel space stretching.”

”It’s not about space stretching, but space expanding on its own.” Su Yang said, ”It’s like two spaces suddenly merged, causing the original space to directly double in size, thus doubling the distance between us!”

”Is that even possible?” Ye Wantong was astonished, ”When you put it like that, it does seem like it. But the problem is, we didn’t feel any power fluctuations; how did they do it?”

Su Yang shook his head, unable to understand this point at all.

”Forget it, let’s not think about this for now.” Su Yang said solemnly, ”The most important thing now is to find the others and regroup. Otherwise, being defeated one by one by the Guardian God would be problematic!”

Ye Wantong nodded repeatedly, as this was what she was most worried about. They must find everyone else; otherwise, the Human Clan would be in danger.

”Can you sense their auras?” Ye Wantong asked.

Su Yang shook his head, ”I can’t feel them.”

”Then how far could they be from us?” Ye Wantong exclaimed, knowing their power, as long as they didn’t hide their aura, they could sense each other even from opposite ends of the Great World.

And now, not sensing a single aura, could it be that the others had hidden theirs?

Su Yang considered this unlikely; after all, everyone was scattered now, and the most crucial thing was to gather together.

This is when releasing an aura to find others is most important, so who would hide their aura?

So the only reason they couldn’t sense others was that the distance was too great!

”Could it be, they went to other Great Worlds?” Ye Wantong wondered.

”No way?” Su Yang was doubtful as well, ”We got separated in this Great World; why would they go to other Great Worlds? They should be hurrying to regroup in this Great World. Going to other Great Worlds would make meeting even less likely; who would do such a thing?”

”Then what exactly is going on here?” Ye Wantong looked bewildered.

After thinking for a while, Su Yang’s face showed a hint of surprise as he whispered, ”Do you think the range of this Great World has expanded?”

”The range of the Great World expanded?” Ye Wantong asked curiously, ”What do you mean?”

Su Yang said, ”The space of this Great World has expanded greatly compared to before. Because the range expanded, our sensing range remained small, meaning they have moved out of our sensing range, so we can’t feel them!”

”How could the range of the Great World expand?” Ye Wantong was puzzled.

Su Yang looked around; if it had been before, he wouldn’t have believed it. But thinking about what just happened, it seemed quite possible.

”I think it’s highly possible that the range of the Great World has expanded!” Su Yang said solemnly, ”Or some power affected our sensing abilities so that we just can’t feel them!”

Ye Wantong said, ”To affect the sensing abilities of the Strongest, even the Heavenly Venerable can’t do that.”

Su Yang slowly nodded, confirming, ”Then the only possibility is that the range of the Great World has expanded!”

Ye Wantong was still a bit skeptical since she couldn’t imagine how the range of the Great World could expand.

”Let’s first consider the situation as the range of the Great World expanding and try to regroup with the others!” Su Yang said, ”When everyone got separated, we still remembered the positions of the others. Let’s follow those directions; as long as the space expanded regularly and no distortion or overlap occurred, we can find them!”

”Really?” Ye Wantong became energized, ”Who should we look for first?”

”When we were separated, the closest ones to us were the Eternal Divine Emperor and the Supreme Dragon Emperor!” Su Yang said, ”So let’s find them first.”

Ye Wantong felt secretly touched; she actually knew Su Yang’s intentions, intentionally taking her to find the Eternal Divine Emperor and Supreme Dragon Emperor first. After all, Ye Wantong was half the Female Sword Saint, and the Eternal Divine Emperor was the father of the Female Sword Saint, which made him like half a father to her.

According to the positions remembered earlier, Su Yang led Ye Wantong, quickly flying towards the Eternal Divine Emperor and the Supreme Dragon Emperor.

The two dared not increase their speed to the maximum because they still weren’t sure what exactly had happened and whether there might be danger nearby.

Thus, as they flew, they focused more on perceiving the situation afar, to avoid any ambush or the like.

After flying for about half a year without sensing the auras of the Eternal Divine Emperor and the Supreme Dragon Emperor, even Su Yang began to feel unsettled.

Such a long time, with the power of the Strongest, they should have been able to traverse hundreds of Great Worlds. Yet, they hadn’t even sensed those two’s auras, which was inexplicably strange!
