Supreme Warrior in the City

The Master of Lingxiao Pavilion shook his head: ”Sandaoshima Yofu coming to the Capital City doesn’t conflict with us resolving the matter of Sky Blade Peak. We were planning to abandon the Capital City anyway; it’s just a question of when to leave. Now that this matter with Sky Blade Peak has occurred, we can use it as an excuse to leave the Capital City, so people won’t think we’re afraid of Sandaoshima Yofu, and it also sounds better for our reputation!”

Master Qi thought for a moment, it indeed seemed so. However, he was still hesitant, frowning, and said: ”But we haven’t gotten ready yet. Leaving directly like this, is it not a bit too early? Besides, we haven’t got a reply from the Martial Champion. That old scoundrel, who knows what he’s thinking. If he turns around to help Sandaoshima Yofu, that would be big trouble!”

”There is nothing we need to prepare; this is neither my Lingxiao Pavilion nor your Land’s End, nothing we can’t abandon,” said the Master of Lingxiao Pavilion. ”As for the Martial Champion, humph, this old scoundrel, when the Second Elder was in the Capital City, the four major sects were so powerful, and he still ignored them. Now we want to recruit him, but I estimate that it is impossible. Since that’s the case, let Sandaoshima Yofu test him. Of course, I estimate that this old scoundrel will probably not give face to Sandaoshima Yofu either, but that’s just fine, because Sandaoshima Yofu isn’t us, he won’t shy away from him. If he denies Sandaoshima Yofu face, Sandaoshima Yofu surely won’t let him off, then we just wait and enjoy the show!”

”That makes sense!” Master Qi’s eyes lit up, he grit his teeth and said: ”That old scoundrel of a Martial Champion, with no Heavenly Court rules to shield him anymore, still dares to be so arrogant, giving face to no one. Humph, we tolerate him repeatedly because we don’t want to consume our strength, but that doesn’t mean those people in Heaven will tolerate him. This time Sandaoshima Yofu comes, I want to see exactly what this old scoundrel will do, and whether he’ll still act all high and mighty!”

”Alright, don’t bother with these matters any longer. Immediately arrange personnel, we must set out tonight to handle the matters at Sky Blade Peak!” The Master of Lingxiao Pavilion said solemnly: ”Remember, this time, we must thoroughly leave the Capital City and abandon this stronghold. Therefore, in the Capital City, don’t leave any loose ends, just leave entirely!”

”Understood!” Master Qi nodded and immediately went out to get busy.

...

In a city two hundred kilometers away from the Capital City, the Jade-faced Judge and others were hiding in a secluded residence in the suburbs.

After these few days of rest, the Jade-faced Judge looked much better, but overall still gave a somewhat weak impression.

This was also something he deliberately displayed, since he previously pretended to escape using the Blood Escape Technique, thus he had to create the illusion of having spent his original source.

By doing so, he made the Second Elder very grateful, completely treating him as one of their own. They hadn’t even arrived at the Capital City, yet the Second Elder had already recounted the locations of the eight Boundary Points from start to finish to the Jade-faced Judge.

Upon knowing these locations, the Jade-faced Judge’s heart was filled with excitement. After so much effort, wasn’t it all to obtain the positions of these eight Boundary Points?

While the Jade-faced Judge and the Second Elder were sitting and chatting idly, someone suddenly ran in from outside, bowed immediately upon entering: ”Second Elder, Elder Ge, we’ve just received news. The people of Lingxiao Pavilion and Land’s End are packing up and will leave the Capital City tonight. Moreover, they’re leaving completely; they won’t come back to the Capital City!”

”Spectacular!” The Second Elder clapped excitedly, turning to the Jade-faced Judge: ”Elder Ge, it was still your method that proved effective. These people have indeed been deceived, they are really going to leave the Capital City!”

”Haha…” The Jade-faced Judge laughed, saying: ”Actually, this matter credits the Second Elder. Without you, the Peak Master of Sky Blade wouldn’t have given me face. It was only because you came forward personally that the Peak Master cooperated with us to put on a good show. Coupled with Sandaoshima Yofu’s pressing advance, they are bound to retreat from the Capital City. What we need is for them to leave the Capital City, and during this period before Sandaoshima Yofu’s group enters the city. We need to enter Qinghe Academy when no one notices, and this is the best opportunity!”

”That’s right, that’s right!” The Second Elder stroked his beard triumphantly, smiling: ”In any case, these people have already left, and Sandaoshima Yofu’s people haven’t yet entered the Capital City, this is an opportunity. Elder Ge, I’ll contact the Peak Master of Sky Blade now and have him get ready to bring people over!”

”Absolutely not!” The Jade-faced Judge quickly stopped the Second Elder: ”At this moment, we cannot have the Peak Master of Sky Blade come over!”

”Why?” The Second Elder was surprised: ”Aren’t we going to hide in the Heavenly Road? If we don’t have them come now, then when do we have them come?”

”The people of Lingxiao Pavilion and Land’s End have not yet departed from the Capital City. Absolutely no major movements should occur on the side of Sky Blade Peak. Otherwise, it easily arouses the suspicions of the Master of Lingxiao Pavilion and Master Qi. We’ve done so much, with only this one chance. If we miss it, we won’t have another chance like this in the future!” The Jade-faced Judge said seriously: ”My suggestion is that we go in first, get everything prepared. Then we inform the Peak Master of Sky Blade, letting them come and join us. Upon regrouping, we enter the Heavenly Road directly, eliminating any further concerns. Entering now also leaves the internal situation uncertain, causing unnecessary trouble if we recklessly summon the Peak Master of Sky Blade. It’s really unsuitable!”

The Second Elder thought it over carefully, finding it reasonable and nodding: ”Alright, let’s follow your advice. Let’s get ready, as soon as they leave the Capital City, we’ll go in promptly. Otherwise, if Sandaoshima Yofu learns they left the Capital City, he might accelerate his entry into the city!”

”Exactly!” The Jade-faced Judge nodded, stood up, and said: ”Second Elder, why don’t you take a little rest, while I go down to make arrangements!”

The Second Elder nodded, and the Jade-faced Judge stood up and walked out of the room. As he curved around this small loft, his face immediately turned into a cold smirk.

Walking into a small loft at the back, Ge Kaiyang was there waiting anxiously. Seeing the Jade-faced Judge come over, he immediately jumped up excitedly, saying: ”Grandfather, how did it go? Is it settled?”

”He has already revealed the locations of the Boundary Points!” The Jade-faced Judge said happily.

”Really?” Ge Kaiyang was overjoyed: ”That’s fantastic, Grandfather. Our years of plans can finally be realized. You wait, I’ll take people to kill the Second Elder right away. Damn it, that old scoundrel really thinks he’s the boss here, huh!”
