Supreme Warrior in the City

The Tri-Eye Ghost King was taken aback upon hearing that the Jade-faced Judge planned to take action personally. He exclaimed in surprise, ”Lord, for such a minor issue, is it necessary for you to intervene personally? I can simply lead a team to protect the Second Elder. There’s nothing to fear from Su Yang. Even if Su Yang genuinely has many people by his side, if it comes to a fight, he’s not necessarily our match. Protecting one Second Elder is completely doable!”

The Jade-faced Judge shook his head: ”Su Yang’s plan isn’t as simple as you imagine. That Su highly values his people, how could he bear to let those around him die?”

”Ah?” The Tri-Eye Ghost King was even more astonished: ”If he’s not sending his people to die, then... what is his plan?”

The Jade-faced Judge stood up, walked to the window, and said softly, ”If I’m not mistaken, he should have contacted people from Ling Xiao Pavilion and Tianya Haijiao. He’s planning to kill using someone else’s knife!”

”What!?” The Tri-Eye Ghost King’s face changed urgently: ”People from Ling Xiao Pavilion and Tianya Haijiao are coming too? Impossible, right? The enmity between Tianya Haijiao and Su Yang is so deep, and Tianya Haijiao has suffered losses under Su Yang so many times, they definitely won’t believe Su Yang. How could they possibly be used by him?”

”Indeed, Tianya Haijiao wouldn’t trust Su Yang, but Ling Xiao Pavilion is different!” The Jade-faced Judge shook his head and said: ”The leader of Ling Xiao Pavilion is a man of great ambition. Don’t think he only acted rebelliously under the persuasion of Tianya Haijiao’s Sect Leader. In fact, he’s been biding his time, secretly observing, waiting for an opportunity to seize everything.”

”To him, the most critical thing right now is to kill the Second Elder, which would justify his position. Simultaneously, he could use this opportunity to consume the strength of Tianya Haijiao, Medicine Sect, and even Sky Blade Peak. By then, Ling Xiao Pavilion would be the sole power, and no one could shake his status. Do you think he’d miss such a good opportunity?”

The Tri-Eye Ghost King nodded repeatedly: ”In this case, regardless of how Tianya Haijiao opposes, Ling Xiao Pavilion will insist on taking action?”

”Precisely!” The Jade-faced Judge nodded: ”That’s why what we really need to guard against isn’t Su Yang, but Ling Xiao Pavilion. If there were only Su Yang involved, I’d be able to kill him personally, without sending people to their deaths, and easily convince the Second Elder. But this matter involves Tianya Haijiao and Ling Xiao Pavilion, killing Su Yang won’t be easy, so we must adopt this roundabout approach!”

The Tri-Eye Ghost King suddenly saw the light and hurriedly said: ”The Lord is wise; I finally understand. Rest assured, Lord, I’ll arrange everything properly!”

The Jade-faced Judge smiled lightly and nodded: ”Right, go find the Second Elder and let him accompany the army personally, saying that I’ll go with him to let him kill Su Yang himself. I want him to witness the terror of this great battle, experience the feeling of narrow escape himself, only then he’ll obediently help us find the Boundary Point!”

”Yes, I’ll arrange it right away!” The Tri-Eye Ghost King ran out excitedly.

The Jade-faced Judge stood by the window with hands behind his back, quietly watching the gradually darkening night sky outside, revealing a nearly sinister cold smile at the corner of his mouth: ”Finally, we’ve reached the final step, darkness shall eventually cover this world!”

...

Su Yang finally chose to ambush the Jade-faced Judge and others at Qingfeng Mountain. After bringing Lv Donglin here, he found a place to hide.

At the same time, he had long sent a message to the leader of Ling Xiao Pavilion, asking him to send people here to prepare to ambush the Second Elder and others.

Su Yang and his team waited here for less than five hours, as it was already dawn, Su Yang finally felt the presence of someone approaching.

He pulled Lv Donglin, and the two immediately emerged from hiding. Looking up, they saw a group of people quickly approaching in the distant sky.

The two leading figures were the Second Elder and Jade-faced Judge, followed by the subordinates of the Jade-faced Judge.

Upon seeing them, Su Yang seemed to be shocked and promptly grabbed Lv Donglin, shouting: ”Run!”

Lv Donglin knew Su Yang’s plan, so he wasted no time and immediately followed Su Yang in a frenzied escape in another direction.

The Jade-faced Judge noticed the situation from the air, a cold smile flashed across his face. He was clear that all this was an act, Su Yang deliberately playing for them.

However, the Second Elder didn’t know what was going on. Upon seeing the two, he immediately perked up. Seeing them trying to escape, he couldn’t bear it anymore and rushed forward shouting: ”Stop them, don’t let them escape!”

The Second Elder no longer desires to control the Heavenly Court or defeat paradise. Now, he only wishes to kill Su Yang to complete his task. After accomplishing this, he’d immediately hide in that ship, retreating into the Heavenly Road, waiting safely for the return of the Heavenly Court.

With his deep enmity against Su Yang, encountering him naturally made his blood boil, not willing to let Su Yang get away.

The Second Elder’s strength, though not as great as the leader of Ling Xiao Pavilion, is nonetheless a powerful Land Immortal, stronger than Su Yang and Lv Donglin. He was the first to chase after them, and the distance between him and Su Yang was visibly shrinking.

Su Yang and Lv Donglin were now desperately sprinting, genuinely seeming to be fleeing for their lives.

Seeing the two getting ever closer, the Second Elder couldn’t help but smirk coldly: ”Su Alliance Leader, at this point, where do you think you can run to? Are you really trying to struggle before your death? Is it significant? I advise against this futile struggle; save some energy to plead for mercy later, perhaps I’ll give you a swift end, isn’t that right?”

Su Yang didn’t turn his head, continuing his mad dash with Lv Donglin, but it was clearly of little consequence. Shortly after, a group appeared ahead, led by the Tri-Eye Ghost King, trapping them in the middle.

The Second Elder caught up from behind, seeing the situation, became even more delighted, laughing madly: ”Su Alliance Leader, now you can’t run, right? Didn’t I say, save your energy to plead for mercy? You refuse to listen and insist on running, are you purposely trying to antagonize me? If that’s really the case, congratulations, you did it. I’m truly infuriated now!”

While saying such words, the Second Elder’s face bore an uncontrollable cold smile. Having finally trapped Su Yang and Lv Donglin, he couldn’t be happier. The four major sects’ mission in the Human World is nothing less than to kill Su Yang.

Once he kills Su Yang, he would have made a great contribution to the Heavenly Court. When the Heavenly Court returns, does he even need to think about his rewards?
