Moonfire Bride: The One they all betrayed...till she awakened

The whole shed felt like it had been ripped off the ground and tossed to the other side of the field.

Something shattered into pieces behind Della, but she was still too dazed to turn around. When she finally managed to, Garrett was gone.

And so was half of the shed.

Woods crashed all over the floor, followed the body of the man that had just attempted to rape her.

Or rather, what was once the body of the man who had attempted to rape her.

Garrett was seething and groaning in pain, and one of his arms was gone, along with one eye that looked like it had been gouged out of his eyeball with bare hands.

Malachi stood over the man, a large and towering figure. His dark hair was loose and fell down his shoulders, and his eyes were completely dark with fury.

As he stood there, his eyes kept flickering between blue and red like a man quickly spiralling out of control, staring at Garrett like he wanted nothing more than to rip out his heart with his claws, and give it to the hounds to feast on.

”How dare you?!”

Even his voice sounded like nothing she knew.

Garrett turned toward what now looked like a devil reincarnate, trembling like a leaf. All that cocky, prideful, annoying and disgusting gleam in his eyes was gone, and he quickly pressed his forehead to the floor, ”A...Alpha,”

His arm wouldn’t stop bleeding, and he was bowing in a pool of his own.

”It’s not—”

Malachi growled again and reached down and grabbed a fistful of the man’s hair, dragging him up by the hair like he was just getting started.

”It was you,” Malachi snarled at his face, ”You were the dog that put his hands on her the last time, too,”

Garett wouldn’t stop trembling. He looked like he was about to apologise, but Malachi didn’t let him speak.

His hand shot down so fast Della almost didn’t see it, and when she did, her heart flew to her throat.

Malachi had just grabbed Garrett’s manhood with his bare hands, his strong hands wrapped around it and squeezing the life out of it, ”Nobody touches what’s mine, and gets away with it!” Malachi lashed.

And yanked.

Garrett let out a howl of pure agony, his face twisting into indescribable pain as his manhood was separated from his body effortlessly.

Della quickly looked away, unable to keep her eyes on the scene unfolding in front of her.

Then, Malachi shoved the manhood deep inside Garrett’s mouth, effectively choking and shutting him up. Blood poured down between his legs and into his throat, but Malachi didn’t give a fuck.

”Scream louder. No one is coming to save you!” Malachi said, then sent a punch to his face that sent the older man lying through the field.

He landed hard, coughing out his cock and blood altogether, eyes red with suffering and despair. Before he could even move, Malachi was already standing above him again.

His hands wrapped around the man’s neck and pulled him up to his feet, and then higher. Now, they both stood in the middle of the field, blood pouring between them as the Alpha continued to crush his neck.

”Pray to the Moon Goddess,” Malachi spat in his face, eyes boiling, ”Because I will show you no mercy. Now...which hand touched my wife?! Show me. I’ll tear it off,”

Garett just kept choking against the Alpha’s unforgiving strength, blood and spit rolling down his mouth.

Malachi looked over at the missing hand he had already torn off before, then he looked at the other hand that was still intact.

”Both,” Malachi’s eyes darkened, ”You touched her with both!”

”I...,” Garrett choked out barely, scared to breathe, ”Forgive me...Alpha,”

”You should have cut your own hands before you ever thought you could lay a hand on her. And now...I would do it for you,”

With one hand holding Garrett up, the other reached for Garrett’s other arm and gripped his forearm tightly...then began to pull.

Malachi looked absolutely demonic, watching the man scream and beg and choke ashes kept pulling, overwhelmed with the rage in his heart.

Della heard the bones and muscles snapping out of place, and Garett’s horrified, agonizing wails echoing throughout the castle walls.

Then, the bones and muscles locked onto each other gave in to the power of the Alpha, and Malachi ripped the whole arm off. Everything happened in less than five seconds.

And just like that, he also tossed the severed arm away.

Garett’s wails took a new kind of shriek, pain shaking his body from every angle.

He remained dangling in Malachi’s grip - an eye gone, cockless, and without hands.

But Malachi wasn’t stopping anytime soon.

”You bit her ear with those teeth, didn’t you?”

Della remained huddled to herself, listening to Garett wail and shriek as one by one, his teeth were pulled out of their gums by Malachi’s bare arms.

”And that tongue...you put it on her too,”

Malachi reached into his mouth and gripped his tongue, then he started to pull.

”No, please!” Della fell on both knees beside Malachi. She couldn’t remember when she had stood up from the corner and run here — all she knew was that she couldn’t bear hearing Garett scream one more time, or she let Malachi’s aura keep spiralling out of control like this.

She gripped his leg, and looked up at him.

”Please, please, let him go,”

Malachi stopped pulling for a moment, but his grip remained as tight as ever.

Slowly, he looked down at her.

”Please, please, I’m scared. I...,” She huddled closer to his leg, ”I need you, now. I really need you,” The words came out before she thought them through, ”Please, hold me,”

And just like that, Garett slipped away from his grasp completely and collapsed on the ground, twitching uncontrollably.

Malachi’s eyes turned back to their regular ice blue, and then he went down to meet Della, quickly wrapping his around her body.

She instantly melted into his familiar touch, her hands tightly wrapping around his neck as waves and waves of fear kicked through her body.

God, she was even worse than she had imagined.

His chest clenched badly.

She... hadn’t been faking it that night when she had zoned out and pushed him away.

”You’re fine now, Moonfire,” He tried so hard to keep the anger from his voice, focusing entirely on her. On what she needed right now, ”I would never, ever let anyone hurt you again, I promise,”

She quaked in his arms, crying so hard. The headache had completely blurred her vision.

Malachi glanced back at Gareth again, who was still twitching on the floor, now lying in a pool of his own blood.

No, death was too merciful for this man.

He was going to rip out his organs, one by one, and he would make him regret that he was ever born.

”Rowan!” Malachi called.

”Yes, Alpha,” Rowan appeared a second later, not the least taken aback by the sight of Garett. If anything, he would have loved to torture the man by himself, too.

”Take him down to the special dungeon,”

Rowan nodded sharply, and then grabbed one of Garett’s legs and began pulling it away by it.

”Moonfire,” Malachi whispered into her ear, gently stroking her hair, ”You’re fine now, I swear, you are,”

She was still shaking.

Shaking so bad.

Fuck! If only he had listened to her the first time. If only he had believed her when she showed the signs.

”I’m so sorry,” He finally whispered again.
