Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Chapter 325: Chapter 160: Empty Alleys, Advancing to Transcendent, to Demonstrate to the World!_5

The WBA and Kamerun envoys, by attempting to conflate normal competitive behavior with malicious murder, were deliberately inciting conflict between Great Xia People and black people, thereby triggering international public condemnation—such an act is utterly despicable!

Here, we, the Foreign Affairs Department of Great Xia, issue a strong condemnation!

Please immediately cease your actions. Do not mislead the world through concept substitution, and stop undermining international friendship!

Regarding how this matter should be specifically handled, and how Great Xia citizens should deal with it, Great Xia has a comprehensive legal system. When the time comes, we will handle it ourselves; it’s not your place to intervene!

August 7, 2018, Great Xia Foreign Affairs Department.

HUBBUB—

Seeing this response, the entire internet erupted.

Netizens felt goosebumps rise and their hair stand on end.

”Truly worthy of our Great Xia’s Foreign Affairs Department! This reply is absolutely domineering!”

”I have no regrets being born in Great Xia in this life; I’ll be a Great Xia person in the next one too!”

”What a line: ’It’s not your place to intervene’! That’s exactly how they should be told off! Damn it, that perfectly expresses what’s on my mind. Who do you think you are, pointing fingers at us?”

”Awesome! So damn awesome!”

...

Netizens discussed this fervently, thrilled by the response. However, while they were ecstatic, others were not.

The officials from the WBA and the Kamerun envoys turned livid as they read the statement from Great Xia’s Foreign Affairs Department. To make matters worse, after the department’s announcement, the Shishi police department issued its own notice: ”Zhang Beixing’s actions have been preliminarily determined to be accidental; further verification is underway.”

At this point, Zhang Beixing’s innocence was practically a foregone conclusion; there was nothing more for them to do.

But they weren’t willing to let it go just like that. It was too humiliating, too infuriating!

This time, they had made complete fools of themselves. Not only had they failed to gain any advantage, but they had also been successively rebuked by Zhang Beixing and Great Xia’s Foreign Affairs Department.

How would others view our WBA and the Kamerun nation from now on? Would our WBA event’s influence be damaged? Would related stock prices plummet? Could related capital withdraw, and might athletes start having second thoughts? These were all concerns we had to consider!

”FUCK!”

Consequently, the person managing the WBA’s official account was utterly infuriated, beside himself with rage!

He refused to accept this outcome. He had to save face; even if he couldn’t fully reclaim it, he couldn’t show weakness.

Soon after, instigated by the WBA, organizations like the WBC, IBF, Glory, K-1, and MMA, along with several other internationally renowned combat sports bodies, united with the ’Black Race Association’ to issue a response. Across foreign internet platforms and in numerous affiliated Western countries, they released a joint notice targeting Zhang Beixing:

”Given that the Great Xia person Zhang Beixing remains unrepentant, persists in disseminating harmful rhetoric, insults the black race, and slanders our combat sports organizations, his actions constitute a gross violation of our agreements. After consultation with the Black Race Association, we hereby issue a joint notice to permanently ban Zhang Beixing from participating in any international combat sports events!

Furthermore, in collaboration with the Black Race Association, we issue our ultimate challenge to Zhang Beixing. Effective immediately, all contracted fighters under our jurisdiction, along with our black brethren, are instructed to challenge Zhang Beixing to a fight upon encountering him. The bout will adhere to professional competition standards, with no regard for life or death!”

This notice, ostensibly a condemnation and a challenge, could, to put it bluntly, even be called a ’kill order’ without exaggeration.

This was an outright threat. In essence: ”If you’ve got the guts, kid, don’t you dare leave your country! Otherwise, in any nation where we black people or WBA-affiliated organizations have influence, we will retaliate against you!”

Clearly, these were just harsh words born from the fury and desperation of those abroad; it was all they could resort to.

Once this notice was released, it immediately detonated across the entire foreign internet!

Due to the fragmented nature of global internet access, while this matter had already caused a massive uproar within Great Xia, it was only just beginning to gain traction abroad, with relatively few people aware of it.

Now, upon seeing the WBA suddenly unite with several other major organizations to issue such a statement, these foreigners, though puzzled, were also intrigued and began to investigate what was happening.

And as they delved deeper, they learned about Corey’s provocation, Zhang Beixing’s fiery response, his bold statements during interviews, and the entire chain of events.

Discussions in foreign countries immediately intensified, with interest skyrocketing.

...

Public opinion was ignited, and the situation rapidly grew tumultuous.

Meanwhile, Zhang Beixing, the instigator of this public opinion maelstrom and the man at its very center, had just finished his interview with an official media journalist. He was now sitting leisurely in a chair at the Shishi police station, munching on melon seeds and playing on his phone.

Earlier, the Shishi police had published an autopsy report that preliminarily identified the death as accidental. Shortly thereafter, the re-examination concluded. The Shishi police chief then personally called to announce that all of Zhang Beixing’s actions during the incident were deemed reasonable and lawful, that he bore no legal responsibility, and was therefore to be released without charges.

After all, the Foreign Affairs Department had subtly indicated its stance. Coupled with the strong domestic public support for Zhang Beixing and the fact that the evidence indeed pointed towards an accident, further complications were highly unlikely.

However, the authorities were still in the process of drafting the official statement, so the case had not yet been publicly closed. Consequently, they had Zhang Beixing wait a while longer at the station, ensuring he was well-fed and comfortable. Naturally, all his personal belongings had already been returned to him in full.
