Beastmaster of the Ages

Five billion was a number that Tianming had dared not imagine. ”There basically aren’t any flameyellow descendants at all in maniverse-class worlds that only have cosmic gods. It’d be rather dangerous for me to bring my ship and subjects close to those worlds. The only way I can make use of omnisentient power in maniverse-class worlds is to first conquer these fortuna-class worlds and make them encircle maniverse-class worlds so my Galactic Emperor network can be tapped into.”

It would take much effort to deal with maniverse-class worlds, let alone imperial-class ones. He had heard that imperial-class worlds were only located in the most core regions of the Upper Star Ruin. There were so few of them that they could be counted on two hands. There weren’t any maniverse-class worlds near them, let alone fortuna-class ones. Imperial-class worlds completely dominated the regions around them.

Tianming was well aware that the real thing that limited how far he could go in the Upper Star Ruin was still his own capabilities. While he had the benefit of five billion omnisentient threads, he could only use them to rescue the flameyellow descendants in the Midsky Tristars.

”That is unless something else changes once the number grows high enough!” That would be something on the level of converting the population of entire fortuna-class worlds. ”At the end of the day, it still depends on the distance between these fortuna-class worlds and the number of flameyellow descendants in them. It still isn’t certain whether I’ll be able to achieve the same effects I have in my dynasty in the Lower Star Ruins.”

The Galactic Emperor of Infinitum was possible because each star had a population of trillions. The number of flameyellow descendants in Starmoon Haven, on the other hand, only totaled around three billion. There also weren’t that many worlds in the Upper Star Ruin compared to the Lower Star Ruins.

”I’ve been in the Upper Star Ruin for quite some time now. I should go back to the imperial capital and see how far my empire has spread throughout the Million Mundi and if there are any lessons that I can learn and apply here!” There was nothing else Tianming could do now that he had gathered as many omnisentient threads as he could in Starmoon Haven. Not to mention, the enemy’s total lockdown made it so that he couldn’t attack them, either.

”I have to continue growing stronger to shatter this stalemate, and there’s two options. The first is to continue spreading my legend across Wargod Haven and Wondersky Haven now that I’ve dealt with Starmoon Haven. And that’d require an even more impressive battle than before! The second option is for me to keep breaking through.”

When Tianming had achieved Galactic Emperorship in the Infinitum Mundus, his cultivation level had been too low, so his breakthroughs didn’t affect his full power that much. This time around it was different; every level of the Overflow stage came with huge growth, making his own breakthroughs just as important as gathering omnisentient threads.

Bai Ye left some infant souls within the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb so Tianming would get instant updates if anything happened. That way, he would be relieved enough to use the mobile stareye to travel back to the Myriadpath Celestial Formation. With a flash, his twenty-meter-tall body vanished from the mobile stareye.

Meanwhile, the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb flew back to the Sun to make preparations for the final battle. The fortuna-class Sun was shrouded by its cloaking formation like a beast slowly awakening from a restful slumber, waiting for a chance to leap in a fatal pounce.

Back at Tianmingopolis in the Lower Star Ruins, the Myriadpath Celestial Formation flashed as a twenty-meter-tall giant assembled into being. Tianming had finally returned! The five billion omnisentient threads that had been connected to him vanished, replaced by the two-million-plus threads from astral gods at the imperial capital. It was a stark difference indeed. Back then, those two million had been the crutch Tianming relied on to fight an overflower wonderian, Zhoutian Shenhai, but they were just a light shower compared to what he had now.

However, something else surprised him at the next moment. ”It’s here!”

His body levitated and shone brighter and brighter, causing him to shine incomparably bright, as he did in the Upper Star Ruin. More than two million people in the imperial capital witnessed the miracle with their own eyes, the rise of the god of gods! Every single astron in his body glowed as his eyes shone and hair fluttered with power.

”Emperor!” The two million knelt to him in earnest submission. But if they could see what Tianming saw, they would be even more shocked; there was an astronomical number of omnisentient threads connected to him! Those from the imperial capital made up only a very small portion of them, with all the rest coming from the Million Mundi! Every single mundus had tens of millions of nova-source worlds, each of them with trillions of lifeforms of the Lower Star Ruins. Even a single person from the Upper Star Ruin could end countless worlds in the Million Mundi, yet in terms of numbers, the population of a single mundus alone outnumbered the entire population of the Upper Star Ruin.

”The entire population of flameyellow descendants in the Upper Star Ruin probably can’t even compare to the population of a heliacal-class world....” Tianming felt that his dynasty had changed by leaps and bounds, and it was a qualitative change to boot! Before, the Galactic Emperor’s power had only spanned the Infinitum Mundus, but it now spanned the entire dynasty all across the Million Mundi! The true ruler of this Lower Star Ruin had been born.

Tianming continued absorbing omnisentient power. Every single one of his overflowing-phase astrons was connected to countless heavenly wills, divine wills, and orders. Those streams of faith had crossed impossible distances to connect to him, forming a dense network.

Trillions of omnisentient threads in single worlds formed streams that intersected with others. Within a star cluster surrounding a deific-class star, thousands of such streams congregated into an even bigger stream. Within a mundus, countless omnisentient streams formed a great river, and millions of those rivers met in the sea that was Tianming! The network of rivers spanned the entire Million Mundi, the sea of stars ruled by their rightful Galactic Emperor.

”The power of faith of those in the Lower Star Ruins can’t really compare to that of the flameyellow descendants, but they make up for it in numbers and network! It’s insane....” Tianming had only just realized how truly important it was to have founded his dynasty in the Lower Star Ruins. His reach in the Upper Star Ruin was far too limited compared to his ubiquitous power here. ”I’ve become stronger than when I was connected to those five billion! I could be even stronger if it weren’t for the limits of my overflowing-phase astrons!”

He felt many more omnisentient threads from other mundi that couldn’t connect with him. But those that did, however, still benefited from the feedback effect. Many mortals and normal gods who’d connected with Tianming for the first time had sudden, rapid breakthroughs!

And their growth only made him even stronger.
