Beastmaster of the Ages

Tianming and his beasts dived deep into the Shensha Starsea. The astral glow from the sea looked incredibly grand, especially for their diminutive size. It looked like an infinite universe with no end.

”If I want to conquer a fortuna-class world, I have to at least grow bigger somewhat.” The frame of reference of everyone was different. If even a normal human adult and child saw the world so differently, imagine how differently the world looked to a two-meter-tall foundationeer and a much larger overflower.

”In other words, if I grow to a hundred times my current size, then this fortuna-class world would look a hundred times to my eyes.” How could one with such a tiny form possibly control a universe that large and grand?

In the Realm of Order, the number of astrons, their type, and structure determined everything about astral and cosmic gods!

As they sank into this bottomless sea, the sensation of an infinite period of time stretching back into the past and forward into the future pressed down more and more heavily on them.

”Even though overflowers have a lifetime of ten thousand years, it’s still far too short! The goal of cultivating is to achieve a lifetime as long as the heavens and earth’s, to be as large as the whole universe itself. One has to step on the path of cosmic gods and start transforming one’s body into universal matter!” While Tianming was still far from becoming a cosmic god, his heart already began to beat in excitement over it.

”The most important first step to becoming a cosmic god is to change the astrons into the overflowing phase as well as increase their number, setting up the foundations for turning them into middlekin astrons!”

Within the boundless Shensha Starsea, Tianming, under the supervision of Long Xing and many other peak overflowers, stood with his legs wide and arms raised, starlight covering his body, hair, and limbs.

”Boss, is this youth one of us?” asked a hundred-meter-tall man in black armor.

”It doesn’t matter. What matters is that he’s our hope,” Long Xing said calmly.

”What in the world is his cultivation level? He looks like a foundationeer from the outside. Is he some kind of special overflower?” the man asked again.

”You’ll find out soon enough,” Long Xing said, patting the man on the back.

”I see....” The other elite followers of Long Xing began to look forward to this as well.

Tianming continued to float within the starry sea, an environment that made him feel smaller than ever.

”Imperial, lifesbane, infernal, genesis, primordial, and my other streams of order should be among the strongest ones ever, and order is the power to grasp the real laws of the universe!” Tianming had been developing these difficult orders as fast as he could. He had obtained many caeli from the divine tomb, the astral emperor’s among them. He had yet to gain insight from it properly. As for the other galaxy-class orders, he had only given them a cursory look.

”Let’s see how this impressive ancestor of the Starfall Pantheon became a cosmic god and shook the universe with his might!” Tianming sent his caelum into the Cosmic Caeli Ring and found the largest one within and entered its galaxy-class order. Then, a powerful will entered his mind. ’To scale the sky, first become the sky!’

The sky referred to the world, universe, and all matter and existence. The principle behind becoming a cosmic god meant becoming all of that. Yet, the kind of will required for someone to undergo that kind of transformation was hard to understand.

Tianming felt as if he was standing before the two-thousand-meter-tall giant. It didn’t have the same sense of realness like Huang Qi did, but his will was definitely present. Every single beam of light that emanated from his body seemed profound in its own way.

Tianming phased into the body of the astral giant, entering the depths of its caelum, watching him cultivate from the very start of his astral-god stages before focusing especially on the transition to overflower and cosmic god, and then to his amazing exploits across the universe!

”That’s the feeling. The smaller oneself is, the more one has to desire becoming stronger. That’s the kind of attitude and mindset that’s present within lifesbane will! That’s the core of reaching the overflowing phase!”

Tianming could find traces of lifesbane will within every single cosmic-god caelum. Cultivation itself was an eternal struggle against losing and giving up, and Tianming was embroiled deep within it. Throughout the whole process, his lifesbane will grew with stable progress.

His imperial will, on the other hand, had grown so much that it had reached the turning point. There were close to four billion flameyellow descendants within Starmoon Haven, all awaiting fate’s judgment. Tianming could somewhat hear their inner voices through imperial will. It was a sign that Long Xing, Yin Chen, and Bai Ye’s efforts were starting to show results, which would only become more and more potent.

”Given how they’re scattered here in Starmoon Haven, we can’t really get Bai Ye to do what it usually does to tell them the gospel.” There were far too many others mixed in among them, and Tianming’s omnisentient power boost would leak easily to the Midsky Tristars! He couldn’t let them learn how to counter him! The fifteen million that had helped him so far were all at the same place and allied with him, so there was no risk of a leak, unlike now.

As such, Long Xing, Yin Chen, and Bai Ye focused on spreading merely the two miraculous acts of Tianming: the slaughter of the eight million denizens of the Middlekin Star Ruin and the temporary stalemate to save the 800 million lives by taking the geniuses in the divine tomb hostage. Those feats alone were equal to Long Xing’s years-long efforts, and that would be able to lay some foundation for their faith in Tianming. ”We will only reveal the truth about our home, the Flameyellow Imperial Star, and its revival at a crucial time to get the most effect out of it.”

The growth in the number of omnisentient threads within Starmoon Haven had caused Tianming’s imperial order to grow once more. With that and the lifesbane order matured, the preparations were ready. The streams of order from his lifebound beasts mainly depended on Ying Huo and the rest. Even if they were not too stable, Tianming felt like he could make the push as long as they were around him.

After spending some time on the caeli within the ring, Tianming took out nine grade-three overflow fragments from his spatial ring for his nine streams of order. ”Now this is one hell of a dose.”

He had to make sure this attempt succeeded no matter what. His orders, mental state, and resolution were all in place. Tianming sat cross-legged at the bottom of the Shensha Sea, fused with his lifebound beasts. Yin Chen’s many bodies formed a silver sphere a thousand meters in diameter around him. Every beast was there with him!

”Alright, success or fail, here I go!” Was it a waste of overflow fragments? Or would he finally be able to grow from being a tiny sub-two-meter foundationeer? Though he hadn’t consumed the overflow fragments yet, the light of determination in his eyes already gave him the answer he needed. After he consumed all nine of them, they turned into sweet nectar and assimilated into his body.
