Beastmaster of the Ages

The transformation from infinitum to fortuna class would be the biggest shift the Sun had ever seen. Who knew what the Flameyellow Imperial Star would be like then?

Tianming knew that infinitum-class worlds were fundamentally different from fortuna-class worlds. Myriadpath Valley was once a fortuna-class world, before its fall, and even then it shone brighter than many infinitum-class worlds!

”Alright, we’ll arrive at the imperial capital first. Then we’ll make a stop at the Yin-Yang World.”

”Are we there yet?” Ji Ji was rather impatient to make the Sun stronger. When the Sun reached the Yin-Yang World, it could absorb yin-yang essence without having to transport it using the Blissful Union anymore.

”Almost there!” Tianming looked at the Flameyellow Atlas at the glowing point that depicted the Sun. It kept advancing further and further across the atlas.

”The Blissful Union takes around ten days in the wormhole expressway to reach the imperial capital. I didn’t think the infinitum-class Sun would be so fast as to cut that time in half!” It was all thanks to the Flameyellow Divine Path.

Five days later, the void shook around the imperial capital and the Myriadpath Celestial Formation as a gigantic vortex of black and gold larger than the capital formed above it, looking like a sea with billions of dragons swimming within it. It was vast, majestic, and breathtaking! Then a pink star of flames emerged from the vortex into the skies of the imperial capital, illuminating it with a blazing pink radiance. The two were both Tianming’s homes! The Flameyellow Divine Path soon dissipated, leaving behind the Sun-illuminated imperial capital.

”What’s that?”

”Light?”

Millions of cultivators in the imperial capital were shocked by the sudden change in ambience around them. Since the formation of the Tianming Dynasty at Myriadpath Valley, the Myriadpath Celestial Path had no longer been restricted. Travel had increased much more than before, and many worlds had obtained the right to access the formation for transport. As a result, the population of the imperial capital increased to five million in only a short time—and the number was still rising!

The newcomers would become new worshippers of the Galactic Emperor and spread his legend when they returned home, accelerating the speed of Tianming’s rise.

”Even though the Lower Star Ruins might not have the most powerful worlds, they have a staggering number of lifeforms and are filled with potential! The power from Infinitum alone was enough to rival the faith of astral gods from Myriadpath Valley. If I become the object of the Million Mundi’s faith, wouldn’t it be able to compete with that of cosmic gods?”

There was no upper limit! That was why Tianming centered his cultivation around the masses.

”It’s a success!”

Cheers erupted all across the Sun, proof that the Flameyellow Divine Path really worked wonders. Tianming could finally contemplate his two other goals.

”Have the Qitianean and Suishenean ships come to the Sun,” Tianming told Yaoyao.

”Why do you want them here?” Jiguang gently asked after she entered the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb.

”Those ships have been modified into mobile stareyes, right?” Tianming said. The Hellfiend, House Yumo’s mobile stareye, had been destroyed by Tianming in Infinitum. However, the mobile stareyes of the other two houses still remained. The Suishenean had always been at the imperial capital, while the Qitianean had been in the vicinity in the galaxy. Tianming had also had the Qitianean return after he took over Myriadpath Valley.

”Are you trying to have the mobile stareyes at the Sun so that you can travel back to the capital any time you want, even if the Sun is away?” Jiguang seemed surprised, but smiled when she realized that Tianming didn’t want to be too far away from her. That was why he was constantly thinking of ways to stay together.

”That’s right! I plan to move the Sun to the Upper Star Ruin, but based on the journey just now, the nova-source cost to go there seems steep,” Tianming said.

”Isn’t it too far? Nobody’s tried to use a mobile stareye to leave our part of the Lower Star Ruins before,” Jiguang said with worry.

”It is far, so I’m not sure it’ll work. That doesn’t stop us from trying, though. Not to mention, according to the Flameyellow Atlas and Flameyellow Divine Path, vast distances across space aren’t always traced in a straight line. There’s many twists along the way. As such, the way from where we are to the Upper Star Ruin isn’t necessarily a straight line, either. Remember when the wonderians used their formation to descend from the Upper Star Ruin? That seemed a bit too fast for the distance to be that vast.”

Tianming couldn’t possibly move the Sun back every time he wanted to see Jiguang, after all. Who knew how much nova source he would have to burn through just to ’listen to stories’? Not to mention, he also wanted to maintain contact with the Ancient Oldgod Domain, so being able to travel to and fro alone with minimal cost would be ideal.

”If the mobile stareye works, it’ll be like I built an expressway from the Ancient Oldgod Domain to the imperial capital and the Flameyellow Imperial Star using the Myriadpath Celestial and Order Formations. I’ll always be close to home, and Zi Zhen won’t be that far away either.” One could even call that expressway the Zi-Zhen-Jiguang-Tianming line.

”Okay. I hope it works!”

”If it does, you’ll be able to freely come and go as well,” Tianming said, feeling rather needy. He really didn’t want to move too far away from Jiguang. He simply couldn’t help it—what kind of man wouldn’t yearn to return to that warm embrace?

”Alright.” They would only find out if it was possible once the Sun arrived at its destination.

Soon, Yaoyao brought the two mobile stareyes to the Sun. When she saw the pink infinitum-class world above the imperial capital, she was rather dazzled. The same was the case for the five million cultivators within it. All of them were in awe of Tianming once more.

The Suishenean and Qitianean landed near the Sky Palace Formation. As they were only infinitum-class ships, they were smaller than the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, which was able to easily swallow one of them. As such, Tianming would have access to another mobile stareye if his plan worked. And it was all thanks to the countless generations of effort that the Three Exalted Houses had put into crafting their mobile stareyes.

”This is insane....” Suishen Xiyue landed on the Sun, her heart pounding nonstop with excitement.

”Haha, this is nothing for the number-three genius of the Upper Star Ruin!” Tianming boasted.

”My son-in-law is amazing!” Suishen Xiyue intensely stared at Tianming, to the point that he felt unnerved.

He had Bai Ye send out an infant soul to stay with her, then set out for his destination: the Yin-Yang World. He would be taking his mother-in-law with him to witness a miracle.

Once more, the Flameyellow Divine Path was activated. ”Dammit, look at this fuel consumption. I have to reach the Yin-Yang World no matter what, or the Sun will shrink back to ether class!”

Tianming could see the nova-source reserves of the Sun decreasing at a speed visible to the naked eye once the path was opened. The amount of nova source was something that cultivators could never use for their entire lives, no matter how long they lived. Then again, it wasn’t too surprising, considering that they were moving an entire world; common sense simply didn’t apply. The Blissful Union, too, consumed a lot of fuel when using the wormhole expressway.

”All this makes mobile stareyes even more crucial!”
