Beastmaster of the Ages

”What! Did! You! Say!” Zi Zhen roared.

”They are... flirting while... you are... risking life! Sigh you... poor little... pitiful thing,” Yin Chen said.

”Aaaagh!” Zi Zhen’s innards felt like they were going to explode. A blood-colored wave shot up from her heart to her purple irises, turning them blood-red instead of black! Not only that, four of the ninehall eyes that had opened all turned red, making five irises in total.

Wave after wave of power spread out from her blood-red irises to the rest of her body, dying her hair, fangs, bone spikes, and everything else the same color. Her body transformed even more, making more bone spikes appear and sharpening her talons. A pair of bone wings sprouted from her back, swinging open like two blades.

The smell of a mountain of corpses instantly filled God Domain One, overcoming the eeriness that the white cloud and mist carried. She was in her fifth hall-eye state! A fiend of blood had just been born, spreading a bloody miasma into the surroundings of the Taboo Ocean, polluting its surroundings.

”Holy crap...!” Yin Chen was baffled and began worrying about Tianming. ”It’s over... I have... doomed him!”

”Huh?” Mu Tianyuan, who was just about to give Zi Zhen despair, froze at the sight of the rising of the blood fiend. ”What in the world is t-t-t-this thing?!” His eyes widened with utter disbelief before the gaze from Zi Zhen’s fifth hall eye pierced into his body like rays of judgment.

”Don’t!” Right as he cried out, the blood fiend appeared before him in a flash. ”How fast!” He attacked her with soul energy, but unlike last time, a blood-colored barrier appeared over the fiend’s astral brain, covered in blood-dyed astrons. ”H-h-holy shit!”

Mu Tianyuan was absolutely floored, and Sixth was as well! Just like that, the fiend’s wings swept through Mu Tianyuan’s body, bisecting him at the waist. The upper part of his body was pierced by the fiend’s tail while she tore apart his lower body with her claws.

”Noooo!” Mu Tianyuan, the principal of Order College, actually had a look of utter fear and terror on his face. The next instant, dense assemblies of claw, tooth, spike, wing, hair, and tail shot through Mu Tianyuan’s body, turning the powerful sixth-level overflower to mush. Mu Tianyuan died in a fit of agonized screaming.

”Haha Sixth... let’s see... what you... bring up... next to... fight your... fifth brother!” Yin Chen laughed at Sixth’s naivete. Yin Chen had seen it all! Young folks these days were far too thoughtless.

”How dare you kill my top general?!” Sixth said using the bodies of the other angry orderlies. They glared at the blood fiend.

Jin Xian and Di Tang’s blood was boiling. ”Brothers, the time for our counterattack is nigh!”

”Kill! Kill!”

”We’ll follow our goddess to the edge of twilight and the sinking of the sun and moon!”

”No more specter slavery!”

The rage of the aurumites was being completely vented. Mu Tianyuan’s death marked the end of the strongest orderly in God Domain One, and Zi Zhen was allowed to run wild! There was no better time for revenge and restoration!

Zi Zhen, in her blood-fiend form, charged into the group of orderlies and rampaged around. Not even Mu Tianyuan’s soul attacks had been able to stop her with her fifth hall eye open, let alone those of normal orderlies. The vice principal of the Order College was nowhere to be seen!

With the mist of blood all over the place, the aurumites fell into a frenzy and charged into the slaughterfield with Zi Zhen. Mountains and rivers of corpses and blood formed as orderlies exploded one after another. Their numbers were rapidly dwindling.

”Run!”

”Retreat to the Order College!”

”We have to split!”

Some of the orderlies had been completely frightened out of their minds and scrambled to run. Having enslaved specters and treated them like animals, they had been accustomed to being served like royalty. But now they were scrambling like pitiful savages, tripping over each other and crawling to run away from the howls of the specters, suffering major casualties in the process.

”Monster! Monster! It’s another Nightfiend!” Some orderlies were terrified and treated Zi Zhen like some kind of soul monster like Lingfeng. But in fact, Zi Zhen was the polar opposite of Lingfeng. She had incredible soul defense when her fifth hall eye was open, making her a nightmare for the orderlies.

”You aurumite dogs! We orderlies will exterminate you! The other elites from other god domains will make sure you go extinct!” some cursed even as they were running away,

”Just die already!” Beating down the orderlies who had broken ranks and morale was much easier. The aurumites relished in the battle, but Zi Zhen was still the one with the highest kill count, leaving trails of blood in her wake.

One after another, the one-eyed spiritforms exploded and formed a tower of soul smoke in the sky that countless specters from all over saw. More than ninety-nine percent of the population in God Domain One were specters. The aurumites were only their leaders, but there were far more specters who weren’t part of them.

”Kill them all!” They no longer needed to care about what was coming up from behind them as they vented their frustrations with the goddess they worshipped, who took the form of a bloody flash. For many specters, it was the first time they witnessed Zi Zhen in action. She was a savior to them, a liberator.

The orderlies’ casualties were incalculable at the end of it all. Either way, there was no longer any of them in Zi Zhen’s sight. She had basically beaten all that was within the vicinity of the Taboo Ocean. She turned to the aurumites and noticed that they had suffered far fewer casualties than the orderlies, though they hadn’t come out entirely unscathed. They were still wrapping up the final parts of the battle with great glee.

”Goddess! Goddess!” they cheered. However, their precious goddess actually began turning on them. ”Die!” the fiend roared as it charged toward Jin Xiao and Di Tang.

”The hell?!” The two were immediately caught off guard.

”Wait a... second you! I was... just lying... to you! They are... not making... love, they... are in... real danger!” Yin Chen desperately yelled, a few hundred thousand of its bodies saying the same thing.

”You were... just lying?” Zi Zhen finally regained some semblance of reason as the color of blood receded from her eyes.

”That’s right!” Yin Chen said.

”But... I’m still angry!” she roared as her eyes turned blood-red again, causing her claws to extend. Yin Chen was absolutely silent.

Zi Zhen turned toward the Order College. ”I will go save them!”

”Many things... have changed... over there.... If you... go now... it’s already... too late... listen to... Little Li.... Your mission... is to... save his... little sister! Sixth will... still cause... trouble, so... you must... keep his... sister safe! One more....”

Yin Chen surrounded the things that Mu Tianyuan left behind with its bodies. There were formation cores, tens of them! Though the principal didn’t have fortuna-class ships or something like the Myriadpath Celestial Formation, like a valley lord would, he had a core that controlled the Order College and the many Order Formations that led down to the myriad nations of the lower worlds in the Xenoabyss. There were also some formations that led to other god domains, and even the means of communicating with wonderians.

”Take over... control of... these now!” Yin Chen said. Only then would they be able to conquer God Domain One, which was the entry port to the Ancient Oldgod Domain. It was a crucial transit point! Being able to gain a firm foothold there was like having the orderlies and wonderians by their throat.

”Alright!” Zi Zhen’s rage immediately vanished, turning her back into her still-gigantic humanoid form. Worried, she asked, ”How are things there?”

”Little Li... has control... over the... big bowl.... Sixth’s main... body just... showed up!” Yin Chen said.

”Main body?” Zi Zhen had only realized that the being that had been controlling the orderlies hadn’t been the main body at all, yet it was already terrifying enough. How much more powerful was the main body, then?

”Those two wonderians have also passed out....” Only by saving her target first could she consider whether she could help Tianming. ”I need to hurry!”
