***********

The collision when the two met was unlike anything before it.

People often asked, ”What happens when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force?” Well, in this case, the answer to that question was...

CRAAAAAAAAAACCCCCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!

Pandemonium!

Booooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!

The chasms below ruptured from the clash. The skies above split and shattered like fragile glass.

A wave of concentrated energy converged in on the two figures as both Sulvan and the emperor became locked in a deadly stalemate.

The emperor’s figure, burning in crimson, black, and purple, seethed as he clashed with Sulvan, whose entire form had dissolved into pure entropy essence. The only parts of his being that were physical were his arms and his eyes—eyes that regarded the emperor with absolute contempt.

”All things fall to ruin...”

Sulvan’s words resonated through the skies as his being covered the emperor completely, threatening to corrupt his being, bringing him to an end.

”YOU DARE!!!!”

Kolen’kul couldn’t believe it. Someone had dared try to use his very own law to corrupt his being?

His mouth opened and then...

”Mad Emperor’s Verdict...” Sulvan finally twitched as he felt an encroaching aura flood his being and then...

”BEGONE!!!” Following Kolen’kul’s roar,

BANG!!!

Sulvan exploded into a crimson mist.

”HEEL!!” The emperor tried to take back control of the situation. His aura spilled out as he tried to enforce his rule upon the laws, but...

”Dominion...

.... Overrule.” Sulvan’s apathetic voice shut down that idea before it could even bear fruit.

The mist coalesced and reformed back into Sulvan.

Kolen’kul’s expression had already gone completely mad as he gave Sulvan a deadly look.

”Outsider... I will make you pay for such a blight,” he growled through gritted teeth.

And all he got in response was an indifferent silence as Sulvan merely raised his blade, and then..

BANG!!!

The two collided once more...

.....

.....

”Amazing...” Salazar’s voice was filled with wonder as he watched the two forces of nature collide again and again.

The region trembled ever more violently from each clash.

He looked down; the chasms below had somehow widened.

”Are you okay?” Leo asked, still trying to stifle the burning flame on his face.

”Urghh... I’ll live. But..” Salazar’s voice cut off as he stared into the distance once more.

”To think he could actually contend with a law-manifestation powerhouse without losing out.” His disbelief was clear.

Leo kept quiet. His gaze stayed steady as he watched the catastrophic battle going on in the distance.

”Damn it. Just where the hell did that bastard get such an overpowered assistant? And how can I get one?” Leo finally broke the silence, growling in clear jealousy.

”Hahaha... believe me, I understand exactly how you feel.” Salazar gave a bitter laugh in reply.

Here he was, a law-creation stage powerhouse, and yet, he had been rendered absolutely powerless before a law-manifestation stage powerhouse. But it was that same powerhouse that was currently having to go all out against a mere law-integration stage fighter.

The absurdity of the situation was enough to make Salazar shake his head, but before he could say anything more, Sulvan’s voice echoed through the entire region...

”Pandemonium...”

Salazar’s face paled the moment the words registered in his head, and then...

”CLEAVE!”

”AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!” His hands flew to his head as he roared in absolute pain.

His eyes exploded. Ears began bleeding as madness crawled through his skull.

”AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!” He shrieked in agony as he clawed at his skull.

”Make it stop! Make it stop! Make it stop!!!”

Luckily for him, Leo had suffered less damage from the mental attack.

He was already in his Despair Form, so when the mental attack struck, both despair and madness clashed, which was why he could still maintain some semblance of sanity, but...

”We need to leave. Now!!” He reached out, grabbing the screaming Salazar as he spread his bony wings, blasting off into the distance, further away from the clash happening between Sulvan and Kolen’kul.

.....

Sulvan’s blade descended with a fury. It wasn’t only physical; the attack targeted the mind of the opponent in its terror, but...

”It is futile!!!” Kolen’kul roared as he launched himself into the oncoming attack.

”I am the root of madness. You think your madness can corrupt me? Insolent.”

The moment he had come into collision range with the attack, he suddenly smiled...

”Allow me to show you true madness...”

”ZONE....”

The world stilled, and then...

”Garden of Undying Pandemonium...”

A dark crimson aura exploded out of him as it engulfed the entire region.

The moment the aura washed over Sulvan, he could feel his connection to the laws outside be instantly cut off.

He raised a curious brow as he focused on Kolen’kul, whose aura had begun climbing.

”Hahahahahahaha!!!!! Finally...” the man sighed in euphoria as he felt the absolute control he held over the space.

All around, there was nothing but madness. The laws were frantic. Nothing made any sense. Even Sulvan was being affected to some extent as his powers began going haywire.

”Now. Let’s see what you do when you’re not supported by the world outside.” Saying so, Kolen’kul’s figure, boosted by his zone, materialized right before Sulvan, an arm sinking into his gut.

BANG!!

Sulvan was sent flying back as he tried to fight back, but...

”It is futile...” Kolen’kul’s whisper drifted into his ears and then..

BANG!!!

Another punch folded him like a shrimp.

”Within the garden, I am omnipresent...”

BANG!!!

Another attack sent Sulvan’s form careening through the air like an aimless boomerang.

Incensed, he forcefully pushed back, his blade ignited, and then...

”CLEAVE...” He struck out, a wave of crimson washing over the space as it surged toward Kolen’kul.

The emperor didn’t bother evading as he dove straight into the attack.

RIIIIIPPPP!!!

His body was split into two, but he didn’t care. The left half materialized in front of Sulvan in a punching gesture. Before he could react, the emperor’s right side instantly recovered as his fist connected squarely with Sulvan’s jaw, rattling him violently as he flew backward.

The emperor didn’t relent, his assault coming in hot and violent, his cackling laughter echoing through the domain like that of a madman..

”Tell me!!! Where’s your bravado now!!!”

BANG!!!

”Where’s that audaciousness you used to strike this emperor!?”

BANG!!

”Where is that contempt from earlier!??”

BANG!!!

”TELL ME!!!!”

BOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!

Sulvan’s body was sent crashing down as the emperor got ready to end it, but before he could...

RUUUUUMMMBBLLEEEEEEE!!!!!

The entire domain—a zone meant to be cut off from the outside world—suddenly shook.

And the moment it did...

WENG!!

Sulvan’s eyes snapped open as his body’s descent halted immediately.

His head snapped to the side, eyes aflame...

”Master...”

”Where do you think you’re....”

BANG!!!!

A kick connected squarely with Kolen’kul’s jaw as he was sent flying backward.

”What?” The emperor halted his flight, eyes wide in disbelief..

”How?”

”Master has begun his battle.” Sulvan’s voice was quiet, detached. Yet every cell in Kolen’kul screamed danger.

”I wish to witness Master’s glorious triumph, and you have now become an obstacle.”

The emperor roared as he surged toward Sulvan, but...

BOOOMMM!!!!

A punch to the face sent him flying back once more as Sulvan’s aura shifted.

”Impossible...” Kolen’kul’s eyes shook as he felt the aura spilling out of Sulvan...

”My master still slumbers, yet to awaken fully, so I am shamefully hampered. But what I can access should be enough.” His eyes locked onto the emperor. Dead. Cold.

Kolen’kul’s entire body froze stiff.

Sulvan hadn’t bothered to speak this many words since the battle had begun, only repeating the same phrase. But for some reason, now that he was speaking, Kolen’kul’s body shuddered in dread.

Before he could think any further...

”As ordained by my master....”

The moment the words left Sulvan’s mouth, the emperor felt a cold hand grip him firmly...

”For he is invincible, then I... must be invincible!”

BOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!

The zone began trembling from the aura that had erupted from Sulvan’s body.

”For he is immeasurable, then I... must be immeasurable!”

CRAAAAACKKKKKKKK!!!!

Massive cracks ran through the entire zone as it tried to contain something it was never meant to...

”For he is The Absolute, then I... must be beneath only one, but above all.”

SHATTER!!!

The entire zone shattered like glass as Sulvan’s aura spilled forth unabated.

The entire region began quaking. The abyssal chasms—not one, not two, but the entire chasms in their entirety—began crumbling inward from the sheer magnitude of Sulvan’s aura.

The essence of entropy in the air roared in pure ecstasy when it felt his presence..

”You... what... what are you?” The emperor’s voice came out weak, shaken. He couldn’t believe it. Couldn’t understand it. But....

”I am the first apostle of the Son of Devouring Chaos.”

Sulvan began speaking once more, uncaring of the man’s internal turmoil.

”I am the root. The apostle of disorder.”

The world slowed. Reality began moving wrongly...

”I am the blade that brings to heel those who dare defy my master’s ordinance.”

Slowly, he raised his bladeless sword as the essence of entropy surged and engulfed the blade.

”And by the Son’s ordinance...”

His blade flared a brilliant crimson...

”You.”

His eyes followed.

”Shall.”

His entire being slowly disappeared, leaving only a pair of arms and blazing eyes attached to a sea of entropic flames.

”STAY!”

His final words were accompanied by the descent of the blade as...

”CLEAVE!”

”NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!”

CRASHHHHHHHHH!!!!
