Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 354: Chapter 352:A Makeover.

I looked around. At the carnage that stretched on without end. A feeling of satisfaction welling up within me.

”That... was good.” It truly felt invigorating. Don’t get me wrong, sparring with my clone was fun, but, duking it out with something larger and out for your life just hit different.

WOOSH!

The wind stirred as two figures appeared beside me.

”Heh! Had to do some terraforming along the way didn’t you?” My clone laughed.

”What can I say? The mutt was pretty persistent.” I replied, glancing sideways.

”What’s wrong with him?” I asked, question directed towards the frozen figure of shulvan.

”Oh, him? He’s still stunned at the whole event.”

”Heh! Seems my awesomeness is still a thing to behold.” I smirked.

”Yea. But, aren’t you forgetting something, o great one?” My clone asked with an infuriating smirk on its face.

”Hmm? What could I possibly be.....” my eyes widened in horror before I could complete the words.

”BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... that’s it.. right there. Let’s see you get out of this one. Oh great Dante... bahahahahahahahahahaha...” the clone laughed as it dissolved into golden particles that scattered with the wind.

”You fucking...” I grit my teeth hard in frustration.

”Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!” I couldn’t help berating myself as I looked at the devastated world around me.

Not a single thing was left intact. Even the space hadn’t healed as spatial fractures bathed the entire environment.

”How could I be so stupid!” I yelled in anger.

Why was I suddenly so upset?

Well. In my stupid excitement, I had once again completely destroyed any chance I had at proving my completion of this quest.

Not only was the alpha completely gone. But even the other Raukhar had been reduced to ashes by Solar Cremation..

”Haaaa.... What a drag...” I sighed. Utterly frustrated. Now, I had to waste time looking for another suitable nest...

”Or do I?” A sudden enlightenment burst through my head as an idea sparked to life.

”Yes... that.. that could work.” The more I thought it over. The more it felt plausible.

Not just plausible. But it would be killing two birds with one stone.

A crazed smile slowly surfaced on my face.

”Yea. Let’s go with that.” Done with my thoughts, I turned my focus to the silent shulvan.

”You!” My call snapped the stunned abyss walker from his trance.

”Ye... yes. My lord absolute. What can I do for you?”

”Hehehehe... count yourself lucky, shulvan. I’ve decided to push your strengthening forward.”

”Ehh? My lord, I don’t understand. What do you...”

”What I mean is. Get ready. I’m about to remold you in my image.” My grin sharpened.

”Ehh??”

.....

.....

”My lord... are you sure?” Shulvan asked as he sat cross legged before me.

I had made an air seat for the abyss walker, not willing to waste any time after having decided to get this done.

”You doubt me?”

”I dare not. It’s just... why me? I’m not deserving...”

”What’s all this nonsense about? You want me to smack your mouth again?”

”No.. no..”

”Then shut up. If I say you’re getting an upgrade. Just be quiet and accept it. What’s all this extra noise I’m hearing?”

.....

.....

”I am eternally grateful for all your efforts my lord. Always know that I shall serve you to the best of my abilities.” Shulvan decided to be a sappy fool one last time before he finally shut up.

”Tch. Stupid.” I scoffed.

Now one would ask what I was about to do. But I had already made that clear no?

I was about to remake shulvan entirely. How was that going to be possible?

”Heh... shulvan.” I called out, placing my palm on his abdomen.

”Yes my lord..”

”Do you trust me?”

”With my life.”

”Good.”

CRACK!

With a thought, I sent a strand of chaos energy into his body, shattering his abyssal core to fragmented dust..

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....

A wail of agony tore out of his throat as his body thrashed. Or atleast, tried to, but I held it in place.

Slowly, his struggles got weaker. And weaker.

His life... was slipping away.

Now. I could easily save his life with the laws of life and death at my disposal. But that wouldn’t do what I wanted. It would only preserve the life of a cripple. And what I wanted. What I needed. Was total recreation.

His life slipped away silently. And right when I felt the hand of death wrapping around him, about to claim another soul.

I used something I had gotten a while back but had no idea how to even apply.

Even now, I still didn’t know what I was about to do. But I could feel it.

[AUTHORITY] is activating...

Something within me wanted out. Wanted to show me. Wanted to guide me. So... I let go, and then..

”STAY YOUR HAND...” my voice came out like a decree from existence itself.

It’s target? Death.

The presence that had wrapped itself around shulvan stopped dead in its tracks.

”This life... it belongs to me.”

....

”You no longer have a claim to this one.”

.....

”Not life. Not death. Not reincarnation. In all of existence. I alone have a say in this one. All other authority placed over it.. I now, by my name....

..... DENY!”

HONG!!!!

The sound echoed not through the physical world. But through something deeper. Something I still couldn’t understand yet. But...

”Thy will be done...”

I could hear an ancient and timeless voice echoe deep within my head as the presence of death that had fallen over shulvan.... DISAPPEARED.

....

....

Silence returned to the clearing..

”Heh. I thought so.” Done putting death in its place. I focused on the body before me.

One not dead. Not alive either. Just... there. Waiting to be molded by my own hands.

”Alright then... let’s make you into something that strikes fear into the hearts of those who dare go against me.”

I smiled as I willed the purest essence of entropy itself to converge on shulvan.

Entropy in its essence, is disorder made manifest. But, when has there ever been disorder without there being an order to begin with?

So.. I forced the essence of the law itself into order as it engulfed the body of shulvan before me.

CRACK!!

Fracture lines spread all over his body as it slowly lost all order. His limbs shifted into the wrong places. His organs misaligned. And slowly, his body was falling apart into ruin, but...

”I refuse. Your nature. Your authority. I refuse it all. Your wish to ruin that which I have decided to recreate, I.... DENY.”

The damage stopped.

”Good.”

Now that the damage was no longer spreading in disorderliness, I finally took control.

CRACCKK!!!!!

The fracture lines on his body grew. Yes. The destruction, I accelerated. Only this time, in more orderly fashion.

Why?

Because for something new to be born. The old must...

SHATTER!!!

Give way...

WOOOOOSHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

The concentrated essence of entropy flared as it engulfed the shattered essence of shulvan. Infusing itself into every bit of the abyss walker.

Slowly... a body took shape.

First was the bare limbless torso. Then the arms. The legs. The organs.

Everything was made and created from the purest essence of entropy itself.

Slowly the body came into existence. Whole. Yet still asleep.

”Now. For the final piece.” I muttered slowly as the remaining essence of entropy drilled into his body, tracing all the way to the location of where his core should’ve been.

It swirled. Condensed. Grew. Then condensed again. Until a smooth and shiny dark crimson core made from entropy rotated quietly within his core space.

The moment the core finished its process...

WOOOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

The surrounding essence of entropy was gathered towards the still figure of shulvan.

And instantly, his aura skyrocketed..

F-rank..

E-rank...

D-rank...

.....

...

A-rank....

”Heh!”

I was no longer going to be needed.

The final process had begun. All I had to do now was... wait...

[DING!!!]

A slow, ominous ding sounded in my head.

”Hmmm?” I couldn’t help being intrigued. This... was different..

[Your bloodline is stirring....]

[Ding!!]

[You have created your first

My system suddenly glitched and then...

[Ding!]

[False alarm host.]

”What?” My alarm bells went off immediately.

That.. was wrong. Very wrong...

Yet before I could ask any questions....

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

The world shook as a dreadful aura saturated the entire region.

My attention was inevitably drawn to the commotion as I opened my eyes and then...

”What?” Couldn’t believe the sight before me.

A being taller than even me was currently kneeling on one knee.

His body draped in a dark crimson hooded robe that twisted and churned the surrounding atmosphere, sending everything into a state of confusion.

On his back rested a hilt with no blade.

His head was bowed as he placed on single fist on the ground.

The moment my eyes landed on him, he spoke.

”I greet my lord. My master. The one above all. Honored above the heavens and the earth themselves.”

”Shulvan pays respects. To the one and only ABSOLUTE.”

***********

A/N: alright. Damn. That’s one hell of a makeover. And what’s that shit with the system? Damn.... But that makeover..... haaaa... anyways....
