Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 180: Chapter 179:Your deaths will be slow and painful..

Aeternum Spire...

Within the same hall Valen had once conversed with the dean of the academy, a light sparked quietly, as the dark hall lit up in starry radiance..

The roof transformed into an image of the starry skies with multiple celestial bodies and shooting stars...

A pair of eyes opened within this space the moment the seraph’s avatar descended...

”Hmmm... a seraph? They know they’re not allowed to descend, their presence would destabilize the world... so why?” The dean’s aged voice echoed through the starry hall, his perception spreading out across the central continent...

”Ohhh? It’s regulus’s child... It seems he has his sights set on the young celestial... hahahaha... such a troublesome fellow, I guess like father like son.” The dean laughed jovially...

”Well no matter, it seems I’ll have to remind an arrogant seraph of why they’re not allowed to descend on this planet...” the old voice made ready to act until his perception caught sight of an incredible occurrence...

The moment the giant seraph’s avatar made a move, it’s body started breaking apart...

”Was that.... Time?” The dean stopped, his perception focusing on the events unfolding...

”The time... it was altered? The past there had been changed..” he sounded genuinely surprised..

But it didn’t end there, the avatar had struck out once more, or at least tried to, but the attack never happened since its body was split apart..

”The future too... ha..hahahahahaha...” the dean laughed in shock...

”It would seem, it is not only that little boy Darius, that has gotten his hands on something very interesting..” he muttered in amusement...

”It seems I won’t have to step in after all...”

”Hahaha.. I can see why that lass is suddenly smitten with him.. I hope they do work out, she deserves it..” the old dean laughed, only for his mood to sour the next moment...

”Ahh... but what a pity... truly.. what a pity..” the dean sighed in regret as he closed his eyes, the room returning to darkness...

...

Land of the damned...

Within the same inner region that Dante had recently turned into a, well... land of the damned, far away from the point of collision, two figures could be seen floating above a recent fissure, the ground had caved in, forming a deep crater that was bubbling with lava..

”It seems we will have to adjust our assessment of the student, Dante Draven..” the blindfolded youth spoke up, voice solemn...

”He.. is dangerous... very dangerous..”

”What do you see?” An echo in the wind..

it was the youth with the covered mouth, he hadn’t spoken, merely used his intent to pass on his words..

The blindfolded youth stood silent for a long time as he tried to understand just what it was he was looking at, when he answered, there was dread in the tone of his voice..

”Hell on earth.”

”Hmmm? That’s new? Hey system, why so much energy from that guy?” I couldn’t help asking as I saw the ridiculous amount of energy I’d received..

[The race known as celestials use what is known as divine energy, an energy more powerful than mana and the target had a large reserve hence why the host received that much..]

”Oh divine energy huh? Well can’t say I’m all that surprised.” They were called celestials after all and if demons could use corrupted mana(demonic energy) then surely these guys would have their own variants..

[Ding!]

[Bloodline and Physique assimilation successful..]

...

The notifications settled after that. No more surprises.

”What a bummer...” I guess I was kind of expecting one of my two diva titles to take effect, considering this would be my first time hunting for quite a while now...

But it seems Lady Luck was currently on vacation, nevertheless, my excitement wasn’t dampened, because..

”I’ve finally got it... hahahahaha..” I laughed as a set of black feathered with golden edged wings sprouted from my back..

They spanned a total of six meters when folded, when they were spread out..

”WOAH!!!!” I exclaimed as I immediately took to the air, the wind caressing my wings like a long lost lover..

”Hahahahahaha.... Yes!!!” I laughed like a man that hadn’t ever known flight, despite the fact that I’d been doing it since I got , I guess there was just something different about flying with wings that seemed to send a rush of adrenaline through my system...

I did a few test runs in midair before finally being satisfied..

...

:-

A transcendent bloodline inherited from the higher celestial hosts, granting its wielder innate affinity with the elements of Light, Holy, and Divine energy.

The bloodline greatly enhances all Light and Holy arts while providing immense resistance against corruption, curses, soul contamination, and darkness-aligned energies.

As the host’s mastery, rank, and bloodline purity increase, more abilities and manifestations hidden within the bloodline gradually awaken.

Bloodline Abilities:

•

•

•

•

•

•

•

•

•

•

•

Note: Celestial wings are a natural manifestation of the bloodline itself, with their form and number evolving alongside the wielder’s growth and bloodline purity..

....

”I guess that much is too be expected..” the thing was an Exalted-rank bloodline afterall, my first one as well, I’d just shot straight from imperial to exalted tier abilities, and there were still more to come..

.....

:-

A supreme physique possessed by descendants of the celestial hosts, granting a body naturally attuned to Light, Holy, and Divine energies.

The physique possesses overwhelming affinity with radiant energies, allowing the body to act as a near-perfect vessel for celestial arts and manifestations.

As the physique evolves, the host’s body gradually undergoes celestial transformation, becoming increasingly resistant to corruption, decay, curses, toxins, and hostile energies while gaining monstrous vitality and regeneration.

Physique Abilities:

•

•

•

•

•

•

•

•

•

•

•

Note: The full potential of the physique can only be unlocked by those with sufficient bloodline purity and comprehension over Light and Divine laws...

The physique, as expected, focused more on reinforcing the body..

Looking at the slew of abilities both the bloodline and physique had, comparing it to what the young celestial had shown, it wasn’t adding up, he was, quite frankly, too weak...

”It seems the guy hadn’t even gotten to fully unlock the potential of his own bloodline..” but then, If the exalted rank was already this crazy, what would his talent, something at the Supreme rank, only a single tier behind the fabled Mythic rank, be?

”Well, no time like the present.”

...

:-

A Supreme-grade talent that grants absolute authority over Light in its conceptual and energetic forms.

The user does not manipulate Light in the traditional sense, Light instinctively obeys.

All Light, Holy, and Divine energies within the user’s influence are treated as extensions of their will, automatically aligning, amplifying, or reshaping themselves to match intent.

Core Traits:-

•

Absolute command over Light-based energy within perception range.

•

Passive suppression and destabilization of opposing darkness-aligned energies.

•

Automatic refinement and optimization of all Light, Holy, and Divine techniques.

•

Passive domain that alters environmental Light to align with the user.

•

Hostile targets become increasingly vulnerable to Light-based effects over time.

•

Instinctive shaping of complex Light constructs without formal casting.

•

Partial override and forced disruption of weaker Light-based abilities.

Supreme Trait – :-

All Light within range is subconsciously redefined as originating from the user, subtly bending direction, intensity, and purity toward their will.

Note:This talent does not enhance Light.

It establishes authority over it...

.....

”Fuck...” was all I could say after seeing that absurdity..

No wonder this guy was treated with so much importance a fucking angel descended to save his ass, if he’d been allowed access to even half of those abilities, combined with his bloodline and physique boosting everything to shit levels, he’d have been a way more difficult opponent than what he’d been...

”And now... It’s all mine...” a wild toothy grin appeared on my face..

The physique, the bloodline, the insane talent, all of it, MINE!!

Of course let’s not forget the star of the show, MY WINGS!!

”Hahahahahahaha... I could get used to this..” no really, I could get used to taking cool abilities from people who were underutilizing them, it wouldn’t be bullying anymore, it’d be raising effectiveness instead...

”Heh..”

Hummmm!!!!

”Huh?” Trust Elira to be a proper kill joy...

Hummmmmmm!!!!

”You win? What the hell did you win??”

Hummmmmmm!!!

”Are you seriously going to brag about tasting celestial blood before I got my wings?” I was stumped, here I was, happy about getting some epic new powers, but Elira was busy celebrating her win?

”You’re a petty one aren’t you?”

Hummmmmm!!!

”Fuck you mean ’a win is a win?’ And where’d you even learn that..?”

Humm!

”I’m not being a petty loser!!”

Hummm!!!

”Fuck!!!!”

I cursed angrily as I shot upwards, my wings flapping hard as I increased altitude..

Yet before I could make any further moves, I felt a sharp decline in my energy reserves..

”Fucing hell, what’s that bastard doing?” One should know, my current energy reserves were obscenely large, so it would take an extremely extravagant usage to cause such a decline, yet the moment I synced my thoughts with that of my clone..

”Oh.. ohhh... yes... that will work just fine.. hahaha..” I laughed in amusement as my body shot towards my next targets..

...

A great distance from where the battle between Dante and The church group had occurred, three demons could be seen lounging lazily on the body of a massive serpentine abomination..

”These things are pretty weak eyy?” A demon snickered, it had blue skin, a single horn on its head and dark blue scales running alongside its neck and chest..

”Yea, what a letdown..” another one sighed in disappointment, with red skin, a pair of twisted horns jutting out its forehead and a barbed tail, it was clear which clan it came from..

”And to think the instructor said we’d be killed by these things..” the last one, a demon with with a goat’s head, clawed arms and feet, and two massive goats horns on its head added..

The three looked at each other and then..

”””Hahahahahahaha...””” they laughed , only for that joy to be cut short as an audible BOOOM!!!! Came from the skies above...

They looked up swiftly.

There, floating ominously like a messenger of death, with black as night wings that spanned a length of over fifteen meters flapping softly behind him, was a figure of such immaculate beauty that words wouldn’t do him Justice, but the demons weren’t focused on that, No.

They were more focused on the cold murderous aura the figure was releasing..

”You..” the figure spoke, his voice devoid of any emotion, as though speaking to a corpse..

”Your deaths will be slow and very painful..”

The demons shivered in fright as a smile they, ironically found, demonic appeared on the face of the floating figure...

”Now... say your prayers...”
