Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 179: Chapter 178:Devour..

Five seconds ago..

”FOOLISH MORTAL!!!! DIE!!!!!”....

The moment the massive palm of the golden figure covered the entirety of the sky above me, I made my move..

ZING!!!!

In a flash of golden brilliance, I had carved my way up the massive silhouette’s figure, from its feet to its head..

My speed had surged to unprecedented heights the moment kicked in...

Zing... zing... zing...

I cut it once... twice... ten times... a hundred times... a thousand times...

Over and over and over again, my figure blurred all over the ginormous figure, an innumerable number of strikes Cutting into the massive figure that was currently in stasis....

I blinked and appeared within the avatar, my blade moving so fast the heads of the two young paladins had come off, their expressions still triumphant..

I appeared before the young celestial, his expression one of pure anxiety as he stared up at his father’s descending attack, I impaled him with Elira’s spear tip..

All these having occurred in less than a second, as my grin widened....

......

Back to the present...

”[TIMELESS SERIES....]”

The minute those words came out of my mouth, the battle had already been decided, reality was just waiting to right itself.

”Cleave...”

And the second I gave the command, the world that had been frozen for that split instant, BLINKED.

Reality rewrote itself to match an already forgone conclusion...

”Im...possible!” The colossal manifestation stuttered as its figure shone a brilliant gold, light bleeding out of an innumerable number of cracks...

SPURRT... SPURTT...

The headless corpses of the two young paladins spurted blood like a fountain as they fell from within the collapsing avatar..

”Blerghhhh....”

”Ho...How..??” The young celestial vomited a copious amount of golden blood as his trembling gaze looked up, his eyes shaking violently as I could see my own reflection within, with golden blood painting my face I looked like a demon from the depths of hell...

”HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!” I laughed....

Ridiculous...

It actually worked...

I had actually killed an opponent’s past, thereby unmaking the reality of the present..

That realization sent me into another fit of laughter...

”FOOLISH MORTAL!!!! UNHAND MY SON!!” I gotta hand it to the guy, he was already on his last legs yet he refused to quit..

”In that case...”

[TIMELESS SERIES...]

The world froze for another split second..

.....

Five seconds later...

”DIE!!!!!” The already crumbling avatar shot another palm strike at me.

I promptly moved the already dying celestial to my free hand, the other gripping Elira firmly as her form elongated once more, growing in both size and length as I swung her downward, severing the entire arm of the golden avatar...

”HUUUUMANNNNNNN!!!!!!”

Zing!!!!

Another cleaving strike saw the second arm fall, collapsing into motes of radiant light before they could even touch the ground....

ZING!!!!!

A final decisive strike split the enormous figure right down the middle as its form began dissipating...

”HO... HOW?”

The golden avatar muttered before ultimately fading away...

.......

Back to the present...

Enraged, the collapsing figure launched another palm strike at me, only for the arm to get severed before the attack could even take place..

It’s other arm suffering the same fate soon after..

”You.... Impossible...”

”I think I’ve already proved it by this time...”

ZING!!!!!

The golden figure was split right down the middle by an invisible force, it’s form dissipating into golden motes of light...

”Nothing is impossible...” I grinned victoriously....

”Now..” my attention finally turned towards the celestial...

”Where were we? Oh yes, that’s right..” my grin sharpened...

”DEVOUR...”

It was about time I got what I came here for..

***************

Outside the land of the damned...

Rumble!!!!

”Seems their battles have begun..” Voren said indifferently..

”Hmm.. hmm..” Elizabeth hummed absentmindedly in response..

”How many do you think will make it out?”

”I don’t care, so long as Dante makes it out, I’m fine.” Elizabeth replied with a careless shrug...

”Sigh.... You still haven’t given up even after all these years? What makes you believe he’s different?” Voren sighed..

”I don’t know, I just feel it.. he’s different, he can survive me, he can break this curse of loneliness..” her voice had lowered considerably, as the topic seemed heavy on her heart...

”Have you asked him? What if he refuses? After all, his life might as well be at stake, I don’t think anyone will take such a decision lightly, even for a woman such as yourself.” Voren asked lightly..

Silence reigned as Elizabeth seemed incapable of coming up with a reply....

...

...

”I’ll just....”

”Hold on a moment..” after a lengthy silence, Elizabeth finally began speaking, only for Voren to cut her off as his expression turned solemn...

He brought out an eight pointed star sigil that was glowing...

”Voren!” A deep masculine voice came from the sigil..

”Your holiness, to what do I owe the pleasure.”

”One of the young ones is dead.” The voice cut straight to the point.

”Has he already begun his hunt?”

”It is to be expected, your holiness, one cannot guarantee life or death, not even I.” Voren’s reply was calm, neither arrogant nor servile..

Before the voice could reply any further, the sky lit up in golden radiance as the silhouette of a massive lance appeared within the sky..

”DIE!!!” The voice reached even outside the inner region, as the lance accelerated....

BOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

The place trembled as the effects of the attack was felt even by Voren and Elizabeth...

”Don’t worry, it’s not Dante, well not yet, they just took down one of those nasty teleporting big guys.” A smile had appeared in Elira’s face as she said that..

”You said not yet... what do you mean by ’not yet?’” Of all the things she said, Voren only picked out that significant bit..

”You’ll see..” her smile widened as she seemed to have picked up something the old man hadn’t...

....

.....

”FURY OF ATARAXIA!!”

It didn’t take long for the old man to understand what she meant by that, as the gigantic manifestation of a goddess appeared, her figure massive enough for even those a clear distance away to see..

”That’s....”

”That’s Dante.. hehehe..” Elizabeth giggled softly...

Before Voren could react, another change occurred...

From the sky, high above the figure of the goddess, something was descending.

Its size too large to comprehend as it dwarfed even the figure of the goddess...

When it landed, the entire plain shook violently....

”What sort of monster is that child?” Voren’s face twitched, as he witnessed the church’s prized attack getting obliterated in one catastrophic move..

”Heavens judgement!!” Once again that voice sounded, the lance of light reappearing within the skies, only this time, a golden figure was driving it down with both hands..

”That’s Uria, he’s using one of the seraphs ultimate trumps...” before Voren could complete his commentary, a golden light flashed, so bright it illuminated the entire expanse overhead, once it faded, an even more magnificent golden giant had appeared, this one far more larger and imposing that the one wielding the lance..

The figure struck in devastating fashion, its empty hands materializing a massive sword the moment its swinging motion was completed...

RUUUUUUMMMMMBBBBBLLEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

It felt like the gods themselves were fighting as the entire expanse was struggling to contain the carnage, and as if that wasn’t bad enough..

”WRATH OF HELIOS!!” The massive golden giant spoke in a deep commanding voice..

A dark golden sun being created in the skies above, only for the figure to, unbelievably, pluck it out of the sky with its bare hands, throwing it towards the ground like it was a normal ball..

”What...???”

”Accept this humble sacrifice of blood and send me aid from thy palace above!!”

A solemn chanting filled the air once more as soon after, another gigantic winged figure appeared with a bellow..

”WHO DARESSSS!!!!!”

The figure shielded the earth with its massive palm, just in time for the scorching sun to complete its descent..

The already struggling landscape instantly transformed into a molten hell of flames and destruction, Voren and Elizabeth promptly shielding themselves with their auras..

”Just how monstrous does one have to be, for one of the lords avatars to descend personally??” Voren’s thought process became jumbled..

He recognized the figure, it was one of the lords, a seraphim, yet the figure of such an esteemed personage had descended to deal with a puny C-ranked warrior...

”See, I told you he was different...” Elizabeth’s eyes were practically beating hearts at the moment...

Yet before any of them could react further, the strangest of things happened...

The newly appeared avatar had gone on a rage as it attacked the figure of Dante immediately, only for Dante’s figure to return to normal, a puny spectacle that the two had to strain their perceptions to see, but when they did see what was occurring, their only thoughts at that moment was..

””What?””...

Dante’s weapon had reduced its length, the blade of the weapon curving unnaturally, as he positioned it vertically in front of him..

Yet, what got the two powerhouses shook was what happened next..

The golden figure’s palm strike was descending with devastating impact one moment, only for the world to blink, and it was now collapsing instead, with Dante’s weapon currently impaling the young celestial...

They thought the strangeness was over, until the golden figure attacked again, or rather, it tried to, only for the world to blinkonce more and it was suddenly disintegrating into motes of light....

.....

The two couldn’t watch anymore after that, their minds having been shaken, even Elizabeth, so confident in Dante, was shocked speechless...

”That.... I felt law....”

”Impossible... impossible.. he’s only been here for a week, and that with only three days in any sort of class...”

Voren was disbelieving...

”How could that boy.. have already comprehended a law....”

”Old man...” Elizabeth’s voice pulled the man from his thoughts, as his attention focused on her...

”That wasn’t merely any law...” she began, voice tight..

”That... was a supremelaw.”

”Dante.... Has already begun comprehending a supreme law..”
