To compensate for the low-quality elixir’s weak effect, Princess Natasha poured her magic power into the three members of the Silver Moon Squad.

However, her remaining magic power—already heavily depleted from the earlier battle with Rigel—seemed insufficient.

”Guh…! Damn you, Rigel! Are you going to get in my way again!?”

”Hey, hey, that’s just taking your frustration out on me. Isn’t it your own fault for being so weak? If you had trained more properly, you might’ve had a bit more magic left, right?”

Rigel spoke coldly.

Princess Natasha bit her lip in frustration, unable to find any words to argue back.

”If that’s the case, then I’ll convert my entire life force into magic power—”

”Stop right there. This time you’ll actually die, you know?”

”Shut up! At this point, this is the only way to bring those three back! Father has just been resurrected and isn’t at full strength, and Norn lacks talent in magic… So the only one who can do it is me…”

Princess Natasha showed a desperate resolve.

She was willing to offer her own life for the sake of protecting her guards.

As a member of the royal family, this was hardly a praiseworthy act.

However, the three girls were not just her guards—they were also her childhood friends.

She was prepared to throw away her life if it meant saving them.

”Haaaaah…!”

Princess Natasha released her magic power once again.

Her remaining magic was scarce.

She squeezed out every last bit of energy within her, converting it all.

”Ugh…”

But even so, it still wasn’t enough.

It was nowhere near enough.

Reviving three dead people with a fake elixir apparently required a massive amount of magic power.

At this rate, even if she converted her entire life force, it was doubtful whether the resurrection would succeed.

”…Can’t be helped, huh.”

”Wha!?”

Rigel moved behind Princess Natasha and grabbed both of her hands.

”Are you trying to interfere!? Let go! You—!!”

”Shut up.”

”Mmmphhh!?”

From behind, Rigel covered her mouth and forcibly stole her lips.

He entangled his tongue with hers and poured a large amount of saliva into her mouth.

”Puha…! W-What are you doing!?”

”I just shut that noisy mouth of yours.”

Rigel grinned.

Princess Natasha tried to protest, but—

She suddenly noticed something was off.

”Th-This is…?”

”Looks like the effect is showing up.”

Princess Natasha’s magic power was rapidly increasing.

Just moments ago, she only had dregs of magic left.

Now it had recovered to about twenty to thirty percent of her full strength.

”What on earth…!? D-Don’t tell me…!?”

Princess Natasha realized Rigel’s intention.

By kissing her, he had transferred his own magic power to her.

”With this, you don’t have to worry about magic power anymore.”

”W-Wait!! Why would you do something like this…? Don’t tell me… you’re in love with me!?”

Princess Natasha asked.

In response, Rigel gave a bitter smile.

”Hah? Don’t say stupid shit. I’m planning to make you my pet. It’d be a problem if you died.”

”P-Pet!?”

”That’s right. Well, depending on my mood, I might make you my toy instead of a pet… Either way, I’ll be pampering you plenty from now on. Look forward to it.”

”Uuu…”

Princess Natasha’s face turned bright red.

While ignoring her flustered state, the King and Princess Norn were checking on the Silver Moon Squad.

”We need to hurry. If we wait too long, the elixir’s effect will wear off.”

”Onee-chan, hurry!”

”I-I got it! Leave it to me! With the magic power I received from Rigel, this time for sure…!!”

Princess Natasha tried to reach out to the girls of the Silver Moon Squad again.

However, Rigel stopped her.

”Hey, who said you could touch them without permission?”

”Wh-What…?”

”From what I can tell, half-assed magic power won’t be enough to revive them. The last elixir was made from leftover materials, so its effect was pretty weak. Even if I gave you magic power, someone of your level doesn’t have enough to bring the Silver Moon Squad back to life.”

”Even if you say that…! I can’t just give up!!”

Princess Natasha said with a desperate expression.

The Silver Moon Squad were her childhood friends and precious comrades.

As long as there was even the slightest chance of resurrection, she would give it her all.

”You idiot, calm down a little. You’re not even fully recovered yourself. If you push too hard, you’ll collapse from magic depletion again.”

”When that happens, I’ll deal with it then! —Wait, that’s it. If Rigel keeps replenishing my magic power until I’m fully recovered, and then keeps doing so every time I run low…”

”Hah?”

”That way, I can eventually supply enough magic power to the Silver Moon Squad! Fuhahaha! What a brilliant idea! I really am so smart!!”

Princess Natasha shouted triumphantly.

Rigel looked at her and smirked.

”I’m surprised you were thinking of me that way.”

”Hm? What are you talking about?”

”You want me to replenish your magic power over and over, right? In other words, that means kissing me every single time. Are you saying that while fully understanding what it implies?”

”Th-That’s not what I meant! From now on it won’t be a kiss! It’s purely a means of magic replenishment…”

Princess Natasha frantically denied it.

But Rigel paid her no mind.

Instead, he continued speaking with an amused expression.

---

To revive the Silver Moon Squad, Princess Natasha’s magic power alone was not enough.

In that case, she could simply have Rigel replenish her magic every time it ran out.

Princess Natasha casually suggested this idea, but Rigel responded with a wicked grin.

”I get it. That was just a confirmation. Whether you like kissing me or hate it… Well, it doesn’t really matter to me.”

”It’s not a matter of liking or hating it! This is purely for the sake of efficiently recovering magic power—”

”Yeah, yeah, sure… I got it, so just shut up for now.”

”Mgh…!?”

Rigel once again stole Princess Natasha’s lips and poured his magic power into her.

”Puha… How’s that? Is this enough?”

”Ah… Haah… My magic power… it’s coming back… I’m fully recovered now…”

Princess Natasha muttered in a daze.

The magic power that had been nearly depleted inside her body had completely returned to normal.

”Alright, this should work…!”

”Onee-chan, do your best!!”

”Concentrate properly. Don’t push yourself too hard.”

Princess Norn and the King cheered her on.

Princess Natasha crouched down over the three girls once again.

”Haaaaah…!!”

A massive amount of magic power erupted from Princess Natasha’s body.

In response, the three deceased girls were enveloped in a faint light.

Their complexions began to change, and their heartbeats seemed to grow stronger.

At the same time, their skin tone was slowly recovering.

”I-I did it…!”

”As expected of Onee-chan…!”

”Magnificent…!”

The three had been revived—

Princess Natasha and the others raised voices of joy.

However—

”H-Huh…? It’s still not enough…?”

Just as they thought the three had been revived, it seemed the magic power was still insufficient. The girls’ complexions began to worsen again.

”Haa… Haa… I don’t have any magic power left… R-Rigel!”

”Hm?”

”Please do it one more time! Give me your magic—”

”Denied.”

Rigel coldly refused.
