In response, Rigel simply shrugged his shoulders.

”Hmph. You’ll stop me? Don’t make me laugh.”

”Wha…?”

”Do you really think someone of your level can do anything to me? If you get in my way, you’ll just die.”

”Guh…!”

Natasha was at a loss for words.

It was true — with her current strength, she was no match for Rigel. In their previous fight, it had ended in something like a draw, but that was only because the surrounding circumstances had favored her. Without the support from her allies’ mortars, she might have lost to him.

”Now then, shall we begin…? Here I go, Pochi.”

”Kuuun…”

Pochi let out a frightened whimper but still obediently submitted to Rigel.

He looked down at her with satisfaction and raised the whip in his hand.

It was then—

”Please wait!!!”

A sudden voice rang out.

Everyone present turned toward the direction of the voice.

There stood three girls wearing silver-white armor.

”Who the hell are you?”

”You girls are…!!”

”The Silver Moon Squad! Why are you here…!!”

Rigel questioned the girls, but it was the King and Princess Natasha who cried out in surprise instead.

These girls were the elite of the Valestein Kingdom and Princess Natasha’s subordinates.

”Hmph. I even set up the rock walls so no one would interfere…”

Rigel glanced around. His rock walls were still standing. The girls hadn’t destroyed them — they had apparently climbed over them.

He had set the walls to automatically counter anyone who approached with stone spears, but…

It seemed they had broken through successfully.

”They got over the rock wall! It’s the Silver Moon Squad!!”

”As expected of the elites…! Please save His Majesty and Princess Natasha!!”

The soldiers outside the rock wall shouted desperately. Though they couldn’t get over the wall themselves, they were yelling with everything they had to cheer them on.

”Well, looks like we have some intruders. What a shame, having our fun interrupted…”

”You are the intruder, Rigel von Gousel! You scoundrel who threatens our Valestein Kingdom!!”

”Hou… Quite the spirited brats.”

Rigel laughed with amusement and cracked the whip in his hand with a sharp snap.

Undeterred, the girls of the Silver Moon Squad readied their weapons. Their expressions showed no trace of fear — only firm resolve.

”As the supreme commander of our nation’s enemy…”

”We cannot afford to be picky about methods.”

”””The three of us will—”””

”—Eliminate you!”

The leader — a beautiful girl with long silver hair — along with a short-haired silver beauty and a silver-haired twin-tailed beauty declared one after another.

With the kingdom’s greatest elites gathered here, this might be the one-in-a-lifetime chance to defeat Rigel.

What will become of these girls and the future of the Valestein Kingdom?

---

The members of the Silver Moon Squad had appeared before Rigel.

Let’s organize the forces present in this place.

On the Gousel Marquis Army’s side: Supreme Commander Rigel, the human dog Pochi, and the earth dragon.

On the Valestein Kingdom’s side: the King, Princess Natasha, and the Silver Moon Squad.

The Silver Moon Squad was an elite unit consisting of three people. A beautiful girl with long silver hair, one with short silver hair, and one with silver twin-tails were glaring at Rigel with their weapons ready.

”Hmph. No mercy for enemies of the state… huh? How interesting.”

Rigel wore a fearless smile.

In contrast, the members of the Silver Moon Squad carried a somewhat tragic resolve on their faces.

From beyond the rock wall, voices cheering them on could be heard.

”Take him down! Defeat Rigel!”

”Don’t lose to a man like that!”

”You are our hope! Glory to the Silver Moon Squad!!”

”Save His Majesty and Princess Natasha!!!”

Listening to those encouraging voices, the three girls tightened their expressions. Although they were beautiful young women, right now their faces looked exactly like warriors marching toward their deaths.

Rigel snorted lightly at their demeanor and spoke.

”…You seem pretty popular, but I don’t know anything about you. Just who the hell are you?”

”We are the personal Imperial Knights directly under the command of Her Highness, the First Princess Natasha of the Valestein Kingdom… That should be enough explanation.”

”I see. So you’re the elite, huh.”

Rigel had already crushed numerous high-ranking officers of the Valestein Kingdom Army. Among them, the strongest was probably Lu Kaine, the escort warrior of the Second Princess Nina. Next were the two escort knights of the Third Princess Norn, followed by the three beastman girls who served under Kaine, the commander of the border fortress, and platoon leaders like Amand from the border army.

To Rigel, they had all been nothing more than small fry, though they were certainly stronger than average soldiers. However, he felt that the girls standing before him now were on another level.

”Hmm, hmm… As expected, the First Princess has some excellent pieces. They seem stronger than the trash serving Nina and Norn, don’t they?”

”Of course. We have fought alongside Princess Natasha in numerous monster and bandit extermination operations.”

”Hoh, I see. So you’re a real combat unit.”

”Yes, exactly. We have served Princess Natasha for many years. We are her comrades-in-arms and her true companions who have run through battlefields together.”

The long silver-haired girl kept her weapon raised without letting her guard down, searching for an opening in Rigel’s defense. The other two nodded deeply in agreement with her words.

”…Well, whatever. I’ll give you girls one proposal.”

”…?”

”I’ll let you go right now. Go home and suck on your mommy’s tits.”

”Wha—!?”

The three members of the Silver Moon Squad showed expressions of shock at Rigel’s words.

Paying no mind to their reaction, Rigel continued.

”Do you seriously think you kids can beat me? If so, you’re underestimating me quite a bit.”

”Khh…!”

”Even if you fight, you’ll just die… I don’t really mind that, but elite pussies are pretty valuable. I’d rather not kill you if possible. Once the war is over, I’ll violate you to my heart’s content.”

”Who would…! We will never submit to a scoundrel like you…!!”

The three girls of the Silver Moon Squad angrily retorted, but their voices were trembling.

Rigel gave them a fed-up look.

”Do you really understand? If you lose, you die, you know?”

”We are prepared…! We are the proud Silver Moon Squad! Our hearts have already been offered to the Valestein Kingdom!!”

The girl declared powerfully.

Then—

”Fuu…! Haaaaah!!”

”Aaaaaahhh!!”

”Fuuuuuuuh!!”

The three beautiful girls simultaneously let out battle cries.

At that moment, their bodies began to glow with a silver light.

”Wha—!? What are you doing!? It’s not even a crescent moon night…!!”

Princess Natasha cried out in shock.

The Silver Moon Squad girls were emitting magical power from their entire bodies, as if releasing the energy dwelling within them.

The King was equally stunned.

”That’s…! Did they drink the national treasure ’Mad Moon Drug’…!? The doping agent that dramatically boosts physical abilities for a short time…!”

The King’s voice was filled with astonishment.

It appeared that the aura surrounding the Silver Moon Squad was the effect of that doping drug.

”The Mad Moon Drug… such a thing existed in this country?”

”It should have been sealed in the treasury…! It’s a deadly poison that eats away at one’s life…!! If they took enough to gain that much power, then they’re already beyond saving…!!”

Natasha and the King muttered while staring at the girls.

Using their dramatically enhanced physical abilities, the Silver Moon Squad charged toward Rigel.

”Haha…! I figured it’d be something like this. Throwing away your lives to charge at me, huh…!!”

Rigel let out an amused — yet somewhat bored — smile.

”Princess Natasha…! Please witness our final moments…!”

”Our souls will always be by your side!”

”Please stay well…! Glory to the Valestein Kingdom!!”

Leaving those words behind, the three members of the Silver Moon Squad closed in on Rigel to launch their attack.

Will their life-risking assault reach him?
