The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 524: Chapter 224: Sixteen’s Moon_3

Because the position being recruited for was the Deputy General Manager of Operations at Wuyou Media, which became vacant after Zheng Shifeng resigned.

Originally, Zhang Shihao intended to let Zhou Wang make the appointment for this position, but Zhou Wang was also perplexed...

After chatting with Zhang Shihao that day, Zhou Wang immediately used a basic [Universal Resume], clearly writing ”Wuyou Deputy General Manager” for the position being recruited.

In theory, the interaction with reality for a basic resume should progress quickly, but somehow, it got stuck at 90% and wouldn’t move.

When Zhang Shihao asked for his opinion, Zhou Wang thought about it and said maybe the final progress would come at this recruitment event, so he agreed.

Moreover, Zhang Shihao had already told him that today’s recruitment fair was ostensibly led by him, but the actual decision-making power was with Zhou Wang. It seemed that Dong Bingru probably heard something from Zhang Shihao, which is why she specifically mentioned it.

”Mr. Zhou, I also have something to report to you.”

At this moment, Ming, who was in charge of external cooperation affairs, also smiled and said, ”Today, several companies, including Cat Music, are coming to attend the cooperation signing ceremony. If you have the time, could you host it? Mr. Zhang has already confirmed that he cannot attend...”

”Don’t bother me with such things. I’m just a supervisor; this is not within my scope of business.”

Zhou Wang immediately refused without thinking.

Ming smiled and tried to persuade for a few more sentences, but seeing that Zhou Wang showed no signs of agreeing, he stopped insisting. When the elevator reached the top floor, Zhou Wang and Jiang Qingkui walked out first. Only when the two deputy generals could no longer be seen did Jiang Qingkui quietly say,

”It seems that Mr. Ming was trying to test you...”

”Yeah, I figured it out too. He seemed to think I might have an opinion of him, but I have no idea why I should have an opinion of him.”

Zhou Wang shrugged.

”Do you need me to check it out for you?”

”Forget it. After all, he hasn’t shown any excess behavior. Let’s put it aside for now.”

After hesitating slightly, Zhou Wang waved it off and said, ”Playing mind games is meaningless, as long as he doesn’t actually cause trouble.”

...

The interview for the deputy general manager position that started at 10:30 in the morning lasted only ten minutes before it ended.

Mr. Zhou decided on the first candidate he saw, which left a few accompanying HR, including Dong Bingru, a bit bewildered. According to the order submitted by the headhunting firm, the first candidate was actually the least competitive...

Moreover, appointments for such significant positions generally couldn’t be decided on the spot; it wasn’t in accordance with the rules.

But seeing that Mr. Zhang had nothing to say, the opinions of these little shrimps seemed to not matter, so they hurried to congratulate the one who was about to take over as deputy general manager.

Only Dong Bingru seemed to be in deep thought, because this new deputy general manager was a beautiful young woman even younger than her. Could it be...

Mr. Zhou actually likes this kind of style?

Reflecting on the rumors in the company that Hua Suisui and Wang Xiaoxiao were both older women than Mr. Zhou, and that Mr. Zhou’s unbelievably beautiful secretary was also a young mature woman,

Dong Bingru suddenly felt she had cracked the case.

But who cares, since Mr. Zhang didn’t see any problem, she didn’t need to worry unnecessarily...

...

”Mr. Zhou, I...”

In the supervisor’s office, which exuded an atmosphere of luxury, after Jiang Qingkui put down the teacup and left, Wu Nala, who had already sat down, stood up excitedly again, wanting to say something but unable to organize effective words.

”Sit down, sit down!”

Zhou Wang waved his hand and said with a smile, ”Very unexpected?”

”Yeah, very unexpected... I didn’t expect, Mr. Zhou, would be willing to give me this opportunity.”

Wu Nala took a deep breath, finally barely adjusting her mood, but still refused to sit down. She slightly bent her body and said earnestly, ”Mr. Zhou, rest assured, I won’t let you down!”

”I am also a bit surprised, how did things escalate between you and Brioni?”

Zhou Wang asked curiously.

Yes, Zhou Wang also didn’t expect that Wu Nala, who was previously the Manager of the Greater China Marketing Department at Brioni, was the talent recruited by the [resume] capable of taking on the role of Wuyou’s deputy general manager.

From Wu Nala’s self-introduction during the interview meeting, it seemed things were not pleasant when she left Brioni, to the point that they haven’t even issued her a resignation certificate yet.

And for a position at the level of Wuyou’s deputy general manager, a background check from the previous company was unavoidable before the other party joined, so Dong Bingru and others basically passed on Wu Nala, treating her as merely making up the numbers, placing her first in the interview...

Regarding [resume] finally recruiting Wu Nala, Zhou Wang, although surprised, wasn’t overly so, as previous brief encounters had left a deep impression of Wu Nala.

He didn’t doubt her abilities either; in fact, after the interview ended and the [resume] took effect, he was already able to clearly see all of Wu Nala’s information:
