The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 516: Chapter 222: How to Open a 【Business Club】_4

”Opportunities will come.”

Zhou Wang nodded with a smile.

Zhang Shihao was also busy heading back to the company, so he left with Luo Meiling.

”So, dear nephews, how are we planning the afternoon? Uncle will take you on a ride?”

Although Shao Xiaoqi butted in, Zhou Wang really couldn’t leave with Luo Meiling; after all, since Zhang Zhiyuan had come to Hang City, it wouldn’t be good for Zhou Wang to abandon him.

”Screw off, Zhou Wang, don’t push it too far!”

Zhang Zhiyuan’s face darkened as he gritted his teeth.

He hadn’t been in a great mood to begin with, starting from the meal.

As everyone knows, the Chinese at such banquets have certain drinking customs. Although everyone tries to hold back, the toasting session is inevitable.

Who starts the toasting?

Of course, it’s the one with the lowest seniority.

Zhang Zhiyuan hadn’t done this any less in the past. Or rather, true scions of noble families are skillful at this sort of thing, given they’ve been exposed to it since childhood.

But today, Young Master Zhang felt particularly awkward.

Because the first person they had to toast was Zhou Wang...

Since it was a shareholders’ gathering, they didn’t discuss other identities, only BSK’s internal status.

As a major shareholder of BSK, Zhou Wang naturally sat in the main seat, and even Zhang Shihao showed him some respect; they naturally had to toast Zhou Wang first.

A toast is a toast, nothing to it really, but Shao Xiaoqi and Guo Bing, those two shameless ones, kept throwing around ”Uncle Zhou” this and ”my Uncle Zhou” that with ease and affection during the toasting—

What could Zhang Zhiyuan do?

He originally just wanted to muddle through without saying a word, but his second uncle didn’t let it slide.

At the time, Zhang Shihao just cast a cold glance, seemingly extremely dissatisfied with his silence.

”If you’re toasting, do it properly; if not, step aside. There are so many elders watching, don’t embarrass yourself here!”

Those were Zhang Shihao’s exact words. The tone wasn’t loud, but the implication was serious.

What could Zhang Zhiyuan do except temporarily cast aside his shame and loudly say, ”Uncle Zhou, I toast to you!”

”Hey, nephew, you’re too kind...”

Zhou Wang responded quickly, ignoring his murderous look and affectionately patted his shoulder.

So now, facing Zhou Wang’s teasing, Young Master Zhang, feeling his face had been utterly lost, naturally became indignant and enraged.

”That was your uncle forcing you, nothing to do with me!”

In response to Young Master Zhang’s anger, Zhou Wang merely shrugged innocently.

”At most, I can call you ’Brother Dog,’ don’t even think about anything else...”

Young Master Zhang had no way out and could only compromise and take a step back.

”Sounds good, sounds good, I certainly wouldn’t force you into anything.”

Zhou Wang smiled agreeably, thinking to himself, Zhiyuan, you’re still a bit naive!

Have you ever heard the saying, when you’re in the world of Jianghu, you can’t help yourself...

You’ll eventually discover that this Jianghu world is filled with me.

”Uncle Zhou, I didn’t like what you just said!”

At this moment, Guo Bing pretended to be displeased and spoke up.

”What?” Zhou Wang was taken aback.

”At least between us, you are a guest in Hang City, right?”

Guo Bing said, ”So, how can we let you make the plans? Today, we must be the ones arranging things for you!”

”Exactly right, Uncle Zhou, you needn’t worry about anything or ask anything, just follow us, you’ll be satisfied today!”

Shao Xiaoqi also gave a decisive wave.

The two seemed to have an understanding, or maybe it was the alcohol, but certain ideas naturally formed. Shao Xiaoqi and Guo Bing exchanged glances and turned to make calls.

Zhang Zhiyuan seemed to guess their intentions, bared his teeth, and hesitated. ”In broad daylight, isn’t it improper?”

”What’s improper? Don’t you think that place is just right? It has everything inside, we brothers can enjoy ourselves all day, do as we please. Besides, the old man is unusually generous this time, and my wallet is hefty. If we don’t splurge there, where else would we go?”

Guo Bing patted his chest and said seriously, ”But let’s be clear, neither Uncle Zhou nor Brother Yuan, you’re both not allowed to pay a single cent today. All expenses are on me!”

Zhou Wang listened to their conversation, feeling something was amiss...

Are you sure the place we’re going is legit?

Luckily, Jiang Qingkui was standing far enough away; if she heard, who knows what misunderstanding she’d have about me!

After ensuring that Jiang Qingkui, standing on the other side of the corridor, couldn’t hear, Zhou Wang cleared his throat and wrapped an arm around Zhang Zhiyuan: ”What exactly is this place you guys are talking about?”

”A high-end, members-only Business Club. Xiao Qi took me there once before. How should I put it? The environment is quite nice...”

Zhang Zhiyuan explained softly.

”This club... does it have some exciting programs?”

”A little, yes.”

Zhang Zhiyuan’s expression also became a bit awkward, and he coughed lightly as well.

Zhou Wang glanced sideways, surprised that Young Master Zhang, who seemed uninterested in women, would go to such places!

Zhang Zhiyuan seemed to understand Zhou Wang’s look and huffed, ”What are you looking at... I’m also a man, and I have needs at times.”

”Now I’m relieved. I always thought you were...”

”Huh?”

Zhang Zhiyuan was initially startled, then realized what Zhou Wang meant, becoming instantly furious. But after looking at Zhou Wang’s well-built figure, Young Master Zhang restrained himself from acting out.

...Why hadn’t he noticed before how infuriating Zhou Wang could be!

Young Master Zhang was beyond frustrated, feeling as if everything changed from today’s gathering.

Damn it, he shouldn’t have come to Hang City; he’d have been better off going straight back to Yunan Province, never seeing his uncle again. Then his seniority would never drop, and there wouldn’t be all this trouble!
