The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 512: Chapter 221: How to Open a 【Business Plan】_2

It turned out that he used to resist these tedious social interactions simply because he was the one toasting to others.

When you can take the lead and chat freely without worrying about others’ expressions, the process becomes so pleasant and wonderful.

”Are you still filming Running Man?”

Zhou Wang, who hadn’t watched a variety show in a long time, asked with some curiosity.

”Yes, it’s already the eighth season now.”

Li Chen smiled.

”The eighth season already?”

Zhou Wang felt a bit dazed and could only sigh at how time flies. When the first episode of Running Man aired, he seemed to still be in high school.

He remembered that his class was divided into two factions, one despising Huaxia’s Running Man and only watching the Korean version, and the other contemptuous of both, only watching American dramas...

Unfortunately, he wasn’t close enough with Li Chen, or Zhou Wang would have genuinely wanted to gossip a bit about Sister Bingbing’s privacy, since no matter how picky a man was, he couldn’t deny her beauty during her prime when she was the most talked-about female star.

After all, she was the standard template for all cosmetic surgery clinics in the early days. To look like that, she must have been fed by Nuwa herself.

”Hello, Mr. Zhou, I’m Pi You, and that song ’Friendship Years’ was great! I’ve saved the full version on my phone...”

When it was Pi You’s turn, she chuckled and even showed Zhou Wang the video of the party saved on her phone.

For this top influencer with mixed reviews and reportedly a lot of negative history, Zhou Wang didn’t really know much. He hadn’t paid attention before but exchanged a few polite words with her out of courtesy.

He found himself reflecting a little; even close-up, despite the makeup covering it, by his aesthetic standards, Pi You’s looks were actually quite... average.

So, life truly worked in mysterious ways, or perhaps Pi You’s popularity once again validated the importance of choice.

There were many internet beauties prettier and more seductive than her, but only she managed to stand out in a niche with a motorcycle track, seizing the juiciest chunk of the crab.

”Mr. Zhou, I’m a resident of Magic City. If you go there later, feel free to call me to hang out!”

Pi You didn’t hide her good impression of Zhou Wang and giggled at the end, quite strongly hinting.

After meeting everyone, before lunch, people entered free activity time, where they could stay in the private room to chat or play ball in the room’s practice area. Since this gathering didn’t have any specific agenda, the atmosphere was quite relaxed, and everyone was pretty informal.

As for Zhou Wang, he was called by Zhang Shihao to go to an outdoor golf standard course with Luo Meiling and a few other shareholders with relatively large stakes.

The so-called golf standard course was an outdoor area with lawns, water, and greens, the actual playing field for golf.

Typically, standard courses were only open to internal members, meaning ordinary people couldn’t buy the entry tickets even via group purchase...

Riding in an open-top electric cart, the group arrived here. Although Zhou Wang didn’t know how to play, he still appropriately had the accompanying caddy carry a bag of clubs for him.

He couldn’t even differentiate which club corresponded to which terrain, but it wasn’t important; just putting on a show was enough.

His real purpose in coming was to have an in-depth conversation with the people present to broaden his perspective.

The few shareholders present, including Zhang Shihao and Luo Meiling, were those who had genuinely made achievements in business among BSK shareholders.

Not to mention Zhang Shihao, Luo Meiling was also a true strong woman. She founded a liquor brand, and her chain stores spread across Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. The other people engaged in industries ranging from finance and securities, beauty and medical care, to internet economy, all being moguls with assets exceeding a billion.

”Mr. Zhou, are you thinking of making a game?”

Zhang Shihao and Luo Meiling were competing in their golfing skills nearby, while Zhou Wang strolled and chatted with another shareholder who started in the internet industry, with Jiang Qingkui quietly following on one side, in case Zhou Wang needed anything.

Hearing Zhou Wang’s idea, this self-made, well-educated Mr. Chen asked somewhat surprised.

”Just a thought. I don’t have much experience; I’m just relatively interested in this industry.”

Zhou Wang responded with a smile.

Which field should he start his own business in?

This was the question Zhou Wang had been pondering these past few days.

The inspiration stemmed from the [Planck’s Business Plan (Basic)] he exchanged with 188,888 points of reputation.

The use of this [Business Plan] was roughly like this—

It couldn’t directly tell Zhou Wang what to do, but once Zhou Wang gave keywords or guidance, it could come up with a comprehensive and feasible business plan, also providing a ”5% to 200% expected gross profit rate.”

The more specific the instructions given by Zhou Wang, the more detailed the plan it could generate, and the higher the expected gross profit rate.

In other words, Zhou Wang needed to choose an industry or at least have an initial idea before inputting it into the [Plan] to proceed to the next step.

As it was a one-time-use tool, Zhou Wang had to make his choice a bit cautiously...

Though it wasn’t really that important; with the dimension reduction attribute of the system tool, Zhou Wang thought that even if he just randomly filled something in, the system could still provide a relatively reliable plan, at most with a lower gross profit rate.

”If it’s the gaming industry, I do have some experience, but I don’t know if Mr. Zhou intends to develop your own games or primarily act as an agent?”

Mr. Chen pondered and asked.

Zhou Wang was naturally aware of this Mr. Chen’s experience, as Luo Meiling had privately told him that this Chen Wentao, Mr. Chen, was somewhat related to a former tycoon in the gaming industry known as Mr. Chen...

When he started from scratch, he was into gaming, but he had since switched industries.

”I still want to develop our own games.”

”If you’re developing your own, then Mr. Zhou, you might need to be cautious, especially in the PC game sector. I think you know what domestic games are generally like, and it’s highly likely to end up being thankless.”

Chen Wentao first gently advised and then continued, ”If you’re truly interested in this industry, I think mobile mini-games could be an excellent entry point.”

”Mini-games?”

Zhou Wang was momentarily taken aback.

”Yes, looking at the industry as a whole, although PC games are showing some signs of recovery compared to previous years, mobile games still account for over 70% of the market share. This is a result of the times changing, as everyone’s entertainment time is now quite fragmented...”

Chen Wentao analyzed, ”Mini-game development doesn’t require high costs. Most of the costs come from promotion, but with Mr. Zhou backed by Wuyou Media, traffic should be the last thing you lack. Combined, the prospects are promising!”

Hearing this, Zhou Wang found himself deep in thought.

Regardless of whether there was any reservation in what Chen Wentao said, he indeed had some flashes of inspiration.

When browsing short videos, Zhou Wang often encountered various mini-game advertisements, like one with a small character running left and right or machine guns shooting zombies—those looked quite enticing...

But those mini-games all turned out to be scams; watching the video was one thing, but once you clicked in, it became another.

Or after a while, they turned into the same old routine of idle upgrades or tempting you to recharge...

Zhou Wang recalled playing a ”secretary training” mini-game, where he initially felt eager, but after realizing it, he found he had wasted several hours of life for nothing... how frustrating.

Unlike typical businessmen, he didn’t have to focus solely on profit. What if he could develop an actual wholesome mini-game?

For example, a tower-defense game could purely be tower-defense; a nurturing game could genuinely be nurturing, without monster fighting and leveling up, entirely focusing on playability and durability...

It seemed to have some potential!
