The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 44: Chapter 41 Can’t Make Do Even a Bit

The card was a VIP card for a high-end SPA associated with the hotel, offering a complimentary experience worth 688.

Zhou Wang glanced at it, just realizing the expiration date was approaching.

“The wise don’t fall in love, I’m not washing my feet, but cleansing the mud from my journey through life.”

Zhou Wang still remembered the shock when he first heard this sentence.

Before graduation, although he didn’t actually join the school team, he often hung out with a few senior members because he was pretty good at basketball. One of the local seniors seemed to love this subject, frequently boasting about it.

He often talked about how gentle the young ladies there were, which had long piqued Zhou Wang’s curiosity.

...

However, during his university years, he clearly couldn’t afford to experience such delights. Tonight seemed like a good opportunity.

Once he made up his mind, Zhou Wang, with the mindset of a budding millionaire, decided to indulge himself for once.

He went to the executive lounge for dinner, sipped a cocktail while admiring the sunset outside the window, and around seven or eight o’clock, Zhou Wang dressed in Balenciaga, slipped on the black and red Yeezy 350 he had bought just the day before, and leisurely left the hotel.

This SPA wasn’t inside the hotel but not far away, located in a four-story building behind it.

Walking past the beautifully landscaped fountain garden, he entered the SPA’s main entrance, where a young woman in business attire greeted him. After Zhou Wang handed over his membership card and stated his purpose, she led him to a sofa area to change shoes.

Zhou Wang glanced around, noticing the place was nicely decorated. Although considering the prices, even though he lacked experience, he had looked up massages on a group-buying site beforehand. Generally, prices ranged from 200 to 400, with any SPA over 500 being relatively expensive.

After changing into slippers and accepting the locker key, Zhou Wang was led by the young woman to an elevator. When they reached the third floor, another young man in a suit was waiting.

“Good evening, esteemed guest, I’m the manager here. Please follow me.”

The young man greeted Zhou Wang warmly, leading him forward.

Zhou Wang curiously observed the surroundings, with soothing music playing around him. The corridor featured rooms with small round windows numbered from “VIP111” to “VIP999.”

“The third floor is our members area, and as you’re using a voucher from our hotel collaboration, your experience includes a full-body 90-minute essential oil SPA and bath…”

As they reached a corner, Zhou Wang suddenly heard a familiar voice. However, when he turned around, the person on the phone had already walked away.

Was it just an illusion?

Zhou Wang shook his head and followed the manager into room “VIP666.”

The room was much larger than Zhou Wang had imagined. To the right was a bathroom enclosed by glass doors. Moving forward was a lounge area with a sofa and coffee table. In the center stood a massage bed, considerably larger than standard, with a screen behind it, partially concealing a white bathtub.

“Please have a seat, esteemed guest. I will arrange for a technician.”

“If I’m not satisfied with the technician, can I change?”

Zhou Wang asked quickly.

“Of course.”

The manager asked Zhou Wang what he wanted to drink and then left the room.

Walking to the massage bed, Zhou Wang looked at the massage attire placed on it and found the legendary small blue shorts.

“This material is indeed quite delicate…”

Curiosity satisfied, Zhou Wang sat on the sofa, waiting with a hint of unease.

This feeling was hard to describe, like a mix of nervousness and anticipation, possibly along with other emotions he couldn’t yet identify.

Although he felt the place should be legitimate, without any of the rumored special services, Zhou Wang wasn’t there with ulterior motives. Still, his mind itched with anticipation.

At this moment, Zhou Wang understood why that senior was so fond of this kind of thing.

Perhaps it was this peculiar feeling at play.

“Maybe this is also a necessary path for a man’s growth?”

Zhou Wang had a sudden realization, feeling much calmer inside.

Just then, he heard the sound of high heels clicking on the floor outside, getting closer and closer.

When there was a knock at the door, Zhou Wang, a bit tense again, said, “Come in,” and then saw a woman in a black dress, carrying a suitcase, enter the room.

At first glance, Zhou Wang was immensely disappointed. Not that she was ugly, but stunning was definitely not the word to describe her.

The crucial issue was that she seemed a bit older…

“Can I change?”

“Absolutely, just a moment.”

The woman showed no unusual reaction, smiling and nodding as she walked away.

Twenty minutes later, still sitting idly in the room, Zhou Wang sipped on his iced cola, feeling utterly unfazed, even considering leaving.

In the meantime, a total of four technicians had come in, but they were either overweight or older, or even if they had decent figures, they were simply unattractive.

Or perhaps Zhou Wang, a novice in massage experiences, had set his expectations too high from the start.

The old Zhou Wang might have settled, closed his eyes, and gone along with it, but his mindset had already changed, and he didn’t want to compromise himself one bit.

So what if it was free?

He simply couldn’t bring himself to accept anything mediocre at this stage!

Soon, the manager returned, with a wry smile on his face, “Brother, we really don’t have anyone else at the moment. Is there really no one that catches your eye?”

“No, there’s not. Maybe we should just call it a day and consider the voucher used.”

Zhou Wang felt a bit guilty, standing up and offering a heavy cigarette.

This wasn’t the first time the manager had come in; he even tried to upsell the skills of the third technician the last time…

All things aside, Zhou Wang thought the service attitude of the place was quite good.

“How about this, if you can wait a bit longer, we have two top technicians finishing in an hour…”

“No, an hour is too long.”

Zhou Wang politely declined, already making his way out the door.

At this moment, a tentative voice suddenly called from behind, “Zhou Wang?”

Zhou Wang turned around in surprise, and saw a young man with a buzz cut and a small suit looking at him, equally surprised.

“B Bro?”

Zhou Wang recognized the more mature-looking man and beamed with joy.

“It really is you, damn!”

B Bro walked over and gave him a friendly punch, clicking his tongue in amazement. “You sure look better than before! I thought the voice sounded familiar outside the room but figured it couldn’t be you. Who knew it actually was!”

B Bro’s full name was Wang Qiaobin, a year ahead of Zhou Wang, a former school team member, and the very person who had indirectly introduced Zhou Wang to this massage SPA world, known as the “Foot Bath Bro” and “The Bath Emperor” from Cai University’s Class of 2019.

Zhou Wang had few friends at school, and B Bro was one of them.

“Meeting you here, I can’t say I’m surprised.”

Though they hadn’t been in touch since the other graduated, men’s friendships tended to last longer, so Zhou Wang joked right away.

“Looks like you’ve grown too. Come on, let’s go in and chat!”

Wang Qiaobin gestured to the manager and led Zhou Wang back into the room.

Watching the manager leave, Zhou Wang, still puzzled, heard Wang Qiaobin finally explain with a smile, “Isn’t it a coincidence… this is my family’s place.”
