The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Directly Align the Entire Set

”Companion service?”

Forgive my ignorance, but I really hadn’t heard of this before...

Zhou Wang pondered for a moment and casually clicked on the search function in the short video app, seeing the pop-up entry, he suddenly understood.

So it’s just a broader business of ”play companions”!

Reading the summary, they undertake all sorts of dining and entertainment companion services, and can also provide personalized service plans based on client needs...

Hmm, it leaves much to the imagination.

Zhou Wang also took a glance at a few reviews; this industry seemed to have a pretty bad reputation.

While Zhou Wang was silently staring at his phone, the girl asked puzzledly, ”Brother, why are you ignoring me?”

Ranran thought Zhou Wang wasn’t interested in her and wanted someone else, although this rarely happened to her, everyone has their own tastes after all, and it was inevitable that some wouldn’t like her style.

She was a little disappointed because the guy in front of her was really handsome and seriously hit her... preferences, clients with such an enduring visual appeal were rare.

But she wasn’t too disappointed, for with her abilities akin to a luxury-brand human scanner, she immediately recognized that this guy wasn’t financially strong.

Aside from that brand-new iPhone 15PM in his hand, everything on him screamed cheap street stall goods, which meant if she took this job, she shouldn’t expect any substantial tips.

And well, the other party might even want to haggle...

Zhou Wang lifted his head, ready to explain to the girl that she had the wrong person, but then he saw the ”PRADA” logo on the small shoulder bag she had placed on the table.

Zhou Wang remembered that this was indeed a luxury brand, and her outfit wasn’t bad either, at least it was pleasant to his eyes, her sense of aesthetics was certainly better than his own.

Thus, Zhou Wang changed his mind again.

”Sorry, I was just thinking about something... Ranran, right? How much do you charge?” he asked.

”Ah, didn’t Little Brother Mao tell you?”

Ranran was surprised but continued, ”It’s a thousand for a day, from now until nine o’clock counts as one day. You can also pay by the hour, but there’s a minimum of three hours, 150 per hour.”

Zhou Wang did some quick calculations; it was indeed pricier than gaming companions, but it fitted his current situation quite well.

Spending four to five hundred for potentially professional advice, as long as it bumped his rating up a little, would be a steal.

”Anything is okay?” Zhou Wang asked.

”Eh... Brother, we offer purely green services. We must respect each other in the process, no lewd stuff.”

Ranran hadn’t expected Zhou Wang to be so direct and quickly added, then winked at him with a smile after speaking, ”But maybe if we meet a few more times, get to know each other better, and hit it off, we could unlock more activities!”

Zhou Wang knew she had misunderstood, but he didn’t bother to explain, and the little schemes in Ranran’s words didn’t really make much of a ripple in his heart.

Hit it off? More like hitting the wallet...

Although he hadn’t used to cause much trouble for girls, back in his prime, he had been surrounded by beauties of all sorts—what type hadn’t he seen?

He just lacked practical experience, that’s all.

”Here’s the thing, I’m planning to buy some clothes and need someone to help me choose. Are you okay with that? We’ll go with the hourly rate.”

”Buying clothes, of course, I can do that, no problem!”

Ranran nodded with a smile.

”We’re pressed for time, let’s go.”

With the advisor joining him, Zhou Wang no longer felt like having coffee and got up, gesturing for Ranran to head towards the elevator with him.

The fashion brands in Henglong Square were mostly concentrated on the first and second floors, with the most on the first. Zhou Wang decided to start from the first floor.

”Where are we going to shop... Want to go to Nanping Street? It’s not far from here, and they have quite a few clothes shops.”

After leaving the elevator, Ranran actively spoke up, kindly offering suggestions.

She didn’t ask Zhou Wang about his budget, but with both Uniqlo and Jack & Jones there, as well as Semir and Metersbonwe, in Ranran’s view, it should meet the needs of a young man like Zhou Wang... well, the affordable needs.

Just as Zhou Wang was about to speak, Ranran’s phone suddenly rang. She excused herself with a gesture and walked aside to answer the call.

”Hello, Little Brother Mao!”

”Ah, the client canceled the order last minute? So what now... Oh, I see, okay, I’ll be right there!”

Ranran hung up the phone surprised, only then realizing that Zhou Wang was not the client who had booked her earlier.

And just now, another client had made a booking after seeing her photo, insisting on her to come over. Little Brother Mao also mentioned that this client was quite capable, and with a sweet talk from Ranran, a generous tip was almost guaranteed.

It definitely seemed more reliable than tagging along with some young boy on a shopping spree. Even though she was quite fond of Zhou Wang’s looks and found this sort of mix-up quite amusing, after a brief hesitation, Ranran chose to compromise with reality.

She walked back to Zhou Wang’s side but before she could open her mouth, Zhou Wang, pointing ahead to a row of stores, said, ”Give me a suggestion, which store should we go to first?”

”Ah?”

Ranran was a bit bewildered because the stores Zhou Wang pointed to were all landmark brands on the first floor of Henglong Square, at a glance they were all uniformly English LOGOs, such as Balenciaga, Dior, BV, Celine, GUCCI, LV...

”You... you’re planning to shop in these stores?”

”Otherwise, why am I at Henglong Square?”

Zhou Wang was a bit perplexed.

”...To cool off?”

Ranran cautiously suggested.

”So do you have any suggestions or not?”

Zhou Wang vaguely understood why Ranran was surprised but he couldn’t be bothered to think too much about it and just asked impatiently.

He was really in a hurry!

”Uh, yes, there are... How about we start with Balenciaga? Their style is relatively more youthful and might suit you better.”

Ranran stuttered for a moment but finally made a suggestion.

”Lead the way.”

Zhou Wang tilted his head, signaling Ranran to lead.

Ranran bit her lip, hesitated for a moment, and then led Zhou Wang towards the Balenciaga store.

She was really intrigued and wanted to see if Zhou Wang was feigning ignorance or if he genuinely had no concept of the prices of these luxury brands.

The two entered the Balenciaga boutique and a professionally dressed female sales associate immediately greeted them with a polite smile, ”Good afternoon to both of you, welcome to the Balenciaga store in Ming City’s Henglong Square. If you’d like, I can give you a brief introduction to our products.”

”We’ll just look around on our own first!”

Before Zhou Wang could speak, Ranran quickly gestured with her hand.

”You seem really nervous?”

Zhou Wang glanced at Ranran with a somewhat amused look.

Ranran forced a smile. Of course, she was nervous. Although she knew a lot about luxury goods, her experience actually shopping in physical stores was very limited.

Moreover, she wasn’t sure if Zhou Wang really intended to buy anything, and she was already feeling awkward inside.

This was a feeling many people have, as if browsing around in such a place without buying anything is a rather embarrassing affair.

Zhou Wang, on the other hand, didn’t have as many thoughts as she did. He had never entered places like this in the past, but now he was there with plenty of confidence, and thus his mindset was naturally calm.

However, Zhou Wang’s first time in a luxury store didn’t seem all that special to him, and the sales staff’s attitude was also very good, without any disdainful drama you’d expect to see. After Ranran spoke up, other than the moment when they were brought two bottles of Evian water, the staff simply followed at a distance, always maintaining a smile on their faces.

In fact, in today’s era, competition in the luxury goods industry is equally fierce. As part of the service industry, their requirements for their own salespeople have also become increasingly strict.

Most luxury store sales associates are college-educated and have undergone professional training and evaluation. Their quality is surprisingly high, which is in contrast to the sales associates in some regular brand stores who often provide less satisfactory shopping experiences.

Of course, you wouldn’t want to encounter sales associates who have been wasting their client slots all day. If they happen to be under pressure for performance, then anything can happen.

”What do you think of this T-shirt?”

While browsing the men’s section, Ranran pointed at a shirt and asked.

By then, she had made up her mind. Instead of fretting internally, it was better to quickly see if Zhou Wang was really going to purchase something and, if not, to hurry up and get him out of there.

To achieve this, she deliberately chose a relatively inexpensive T-shirt to test Zhou Wang.

Zhou Wang glanced at it. Ranran was pointing at a beige, vintage-style T-shirt without the large LOGOs Zhou Wang found bothersome. It was simple in style and looked quite nice.

”You decide. It’s best to just pick out a set for me to try on.”

Saying this, Zhou Wang beckoned a sales associate to bring him the right size T-shirt to try on.

Ah, to pick out a whole set right away?

Ranran was momentarily stunned and couldn’t help but want to ask Zhou Wang, ”Did you even look at the price of that T-shirt?”

Zhou Wang indicated that he certainly saw the price. It was just 6,300...

Although the price was indeed outrageous, to be honest, it was much lower than what Zhou Wang had originally anticipated.
