Almighty Sweet Queen is Really Rich!

Chapter 513: Chapter 513: Sure Enough, Deep Sisterly Affection

Su Li turned her head and saw that it was Lu Zifan from the Chinese Department, accompanied by two or three female classmates. Su Li thought they looked familiar, as if they had met once before at a banquet.

Su Li felt a bit wary, what were these people up to?

Seeing Su Li’s wary expression, Lu Zifan appeared slightly embarrassed.

He rubbed his hands, reddened by the cold wind, and walked forward voluntarily, saying, ”Su Li, I’ve heard that you’re friends with Starry Sky Studio. Could you help me contact their boss?”

Su Li was a bit surprised.

Lu Zifan’s face showed a look of shame as he said, ”I’ve been following recent news in the entertainment circle. I know my online novels aren’t considered highbrow and adapting them into web dramas is just a pipe dream. With so much controversy, it might be better not to shoot them at all...”

Su Li was a little amazed, not expecting Lu Zifan to say that. She just smiled, ”Senior Lu, you’re too modest. I can’t intervene in the studio’s decisions. But where are you all headed?”

A thin, elegant-looking girl smiled and said, ”We’re following the professor’s instructions to visit a classmate. She’s wheelchair-bound due to a leg disability and is not quite right mentally. We want to show some care.”

Su Li’s heart skipped a beat, and she asked, ”Is her name Yan Le?”

Several students were taken aback, not expecting Su Li, a junior from another department, to know this person.

Lu Zifan regained his composure and smiled, ”Is it because of Yan Huan, the screenwriter? That’s right, we’re visiting the younger sister of the famous screenwriter Yan Huan.”

Yan Le was also a girl with literary ambitions, which was why she studied in the Chinese Department at the university. However, her achievements in school couldn’t compare to her sister, who was already a well-known screenwriter in the entertainment industry.

Su Li pondered for a moment, then decided she didn’t want to return to the dormitory to hear Yan Sida’s endless chatter. She smiled and asked, ”Could you take me with you? I’d like to visit as well.”

The seniors hesitated and exchanged glances.

This junior knows people at Starry Sky Studio; maybe if she puts in a good word, they could sell their scripts to the studio too, and they could be successful.

So they smiled and nodded, agreeing to Su Li’s request.

The group took a car to Yan Le’s apartment, a famous high-end complex in Jiangzhou Prefecture, with extremely strict security measures at the entrance.

Lu Zifan couldn’t help but praise, ”As expected of the scriptwriter Yan Huan. Despite losing both parents, she’s still working hard to care for a disabled, mentally ill sister. This apartment is very expensive. Truly sisterly affection.”

”Isn’t it? I heard that no matter how busy she is, Screenwriter Yan Huan visits her sister twice a week and even hired a nanny to take care of her,” another senior praised as they walked.

If Lu Zifan was considered successful within the university’s Chinese Department, then Yan Huan, a famous screenwriter, was almost a role model for the Chinese Department students!

Su Li silently smirked with disdain.

Hard work?

Sisterly affection?

Tuanzi told her that Yan Le eventually committed suicide, and Yan Huan might have had a part to play in it.

It’s not the last straw that breaks the camel’s back, but every straw leading up to it.

Su Li quietly followed them towards the apartment building.

As the group reached the first floor, Su Li suddenly heard surprised exclamations.

Su Li was stunned for a moment and caught a faint scent of clivia fragrance.

Su Li looked up and saw a slender figure standing at the elevator door, holding a delicate flower basket with jade-like hands.

She looked up, just in time to meet those gentle eyes.

Feng Ciye.

Was he also here to visit Yan Le?
