My Cards are Infinitely Refreshed

70: Jiangnan University’s proposal“Hahahaha! See! What did I tell you?!” Gong Ping mocked Yan Hao.

“Not bad, Shi Li.”

“Congratulations.”

“Looks like we’ll be alumni at Jiangnan University from now on.”

Although the result was a bit unexpected, the students from Durian City still offered their blessings.

Even Yan Hao had nothing to say.

So, under everyone’s gaze, Shi Li walked towards Office No. 1.

Ouyang Huan, Fang Jinghai, and others had already gone in, so he should be the last one in sequence.

Arriving at the office, the person who personally received Shi Li was Instructor Liu, the base leader.

“Student Shi Li, first of all, congratulations on achieving excellent results in this trial.”

After Shi Li sat down, Instructor Liu took out three boxes.

“Based on your total score, on behalf of Jiangnan University, I am awarding you a prize.

Please select one token card of your choice from these three card boxes.”

The three boxes represented 40-point, 30-point, and 20-point character cards, respectively.

Among them, 30-point character token cards were the most numerous, while 20-point and 40-point cards were fewer, especially the 40-point ones.

“Thank you, Instructor Liu.”

Shi Li politely took the boxes.

In reality, he was smiling bitterly inside.

Jiangnan University was already quite generous to students from their province.

A two-star token card wasn’t cheap on the market; it cost at least tens of thousands of cubic coins.

The items were good, of course, but he didn’t have any money to refresh now.

A few days ago, to upgrade Tiao Tiao, he had already spent over 20,000 of the 30,000 cubic coins he had just received, leaving him with only a few thousand now.

Although under the same circumstances, the refresh cost for an ordinary token card would be lower than for a unique token card, the money he had would probably only allow for one or two refreshes.

Having tasted the sweetness of 100% completion, he was unwilling to settle.

However, for now, he needed to choose a suitable one first.

Considering his current deck situation, Shi Li had already thought of the answer in advance.

He wanted to choose the box for 20-point character cards.

After activating two card slots, he could reveal two cards at the start of the game.

One of them would undoubtedly be the Jumping Guard, which was in the column responsible for bearing damage for his ace card.

The other column had no cards behind it, so it didn’t have much responsibility for bearing damage.

Neither his Stone Demon nor Youyou Slime among his 20-point cards was suitable as the first revealed card for the other column.

Because other than damage reduction, they had no functional utility and would eventually be discarded or decomposed into material cards.

So, to make up for the deck’s shortcomings, he needed a more functional 20-point character card.

“I want this one.”

After some selection, Shi Li chose his target.

The intelligent Despicable Goblin, a relatively common 20-point two-star character card.

If the traits were good, it could be quite threatening.

“Alright, then let’s discuss another matter.”

Instructor Liu nodded.

“Please speak.”

Shi Li knew the main event was coming.

“After discussions among the school leadership, I am now offering you a proposal for a letter of intent on behalf of Jiangnan University.”

“Okay.”

Shi Li nodded.

In fact, signing the agreement did not mean he didn’t have to take the college entrance examination, nor did it mean early admission.

It only ensured that students would receive more additional benefits than ordinary students after enrolling in that school.

If you couldn’t get in, then it was as if nothing had happened.

Of course, to accommodate these agreement students, some clauses would appropriately include provisions for score reduction.

“After enrollment, you will receive A-level cultivation treatment.

First, all tuition and miscellaneous fees for four years will be waived.

No less than 10 one-on-one tutoring sessions per month, with courses of your choice.

One exotic practical experience per semester, led by a dedicated senior teacher.

In addition, there are a series of living benefits such as single dormitories.

And an independent scholarship of 600,000 cubic coins.”

What do card-type universities have? Education resources, of course.

What’s more, this was a full 600,000 cubic coins, six times the national subsidy for entering a key university.

It should be known that a relatively ordinary three-star token card on the market only costs 50,000 to 80,000 cubic coins per card.

In terms of treatment, this was already completely treating him as a top student.

The treatment they offered Fang Jinghai was no different.

“What are the conditions then?”

Shi Li was quite clear-headed.

“There are indeed conditions.”

Seeing that the other party was not swayed by the immediate benefits, Instructor Liu’s evaluation of him secretly rose by a point.

“Actually, it’s very simple, just one point.

That is, you must achieve at least one series of card resonance before enrollment for the agreement to take effect.”

She handed over the agreement.

“Instructor Liu, I need to consider it.”

After carefully reading the agreement, Shi Li did not immediately give a reply.

Once this letter of intent was signed, it meant it was finalized.

After he met the conditions, he had to enroll in Jiangnan University, and Jiangnan University also had to provide the promised treatment.

If either party breached the contract, they would have to pay liquidated damages to the other party.

And only one letter of intent could be signed; if he signed with other schools or even reached a verbal agreement, it would be considered a breach of contract.

Of course, if Shi Li did not achieve the additional condition of card resonance, he could still apply to any school, including Jiangnan University, without restriction.

However, even if he truly entered Jiangnan University through his college entrance examination scores or by relying on the “city-wide first in college entrance examination card duel for guaranteed admission” clause.

The A-level treatment mentioned before would not be available.

Or even if Shi Li did achieve card resonance before the college entrance examination, but did not sign this agreement, he still would not receive this A-level treatment.

It was just that, given his current situation, Shi Li didn’t know if he could achieve furious or resolute card resonance within the specified time.

“Student Shi Li, please do not doubt the sincerity of Jiangnan University.”

Instructor Liu believed that this treatment was already very good for Shi Li personally.

Indeed, in terms of educational resources, Jiangnan University was certainly not as good as the Four Famous Universities.

Therefore, in terms of sincerity, they had to show more.

Instructor Liu had been in contact with these inspection teams for so many years and could generally infer what kind of treatment the four universities would offer.

First, card resonance would definitely be a strict requirement, no question about it.

Because this was equivalent to providing insurance for the school.

Otherwise, if they admitted you and gave you generous treatment, only for your strength to fall behind within half a year, wouldn’t that be a huge loss?

As for the treatment given, she dared to say that if you just took out the 600,000 cubic coins, it would definitely not be worse than the Four Famous Universities.

It should even be slightly higher.

After all, although the Four Famous Universities had abundant funds, they also faced a larger student population.

It was impossible to excessively allocate limited funds to Jiangnan Province.

Moreover, besides Shi Li, there were other worthy candidates in this trial.

Considering all aspects, those few students were currently no less capable than Shi Li.
