Pillar of Yita

It seemed to be whispering something softly, but Fang Hong could no longer hear it, because he suddenly felt an ancient and sacred voice entering his mind.

The voice told him:

”Ta Aka—”

The ancient Sun God.

”A ritual,” Reed then looked down and responded to the little girls hiding behind him, ”In our traditions, we too have such ancient ways of blessing, but we sense the whispers of souls in the wind, the Lizard People, it seems, are more sensitive to blood.”

Atira nodded gently.

The Forest Elves, too, inherited some ancient traditions. It was only then that she released her hold on Xiangzi, and at that moment, Xiangzi finally understood that the others were not planning to harm their Captain—although he did not have much respect for this Captain anyway.

But this did not solve everyone’s confusion.

What exactly was that crown that appeared so suddenly? Why did Ade exhibit such a vision at that time? Tainaric had always said he was the Chosen One, his human brother, who treated him with great respect, but apart from that strange language that slipped out that day, there didn’t seem to be any other signs.

And after the crown appeared, the sudden change in the Lizardmen’s attitudes left everyone confused.

Among all, only the tall Lizardman appeared indignant, muttering through gritted teeth, ”Why should it be him, a human? A lowly human, there must be something wrong!”

Tainaric calmly turned his head back, ”He is the Invoker, the Chosen of the Holiest, my brother. He is the Dragon Speaker, have you forgotten the ancient prophecy?”

”No, I don’t believe in any prophecy,” the grey-skinned Lizardman stepped back, looking at Fang Hong with a look of disgust, then looked at Tainaric, ”You all are the same, I will not be easily fooled to hand over Andasok’s blessing to you.”

It emitted a low hiss and then, full of resentment, turned and left the hall, departing alone.

But inside the hall, at this moment, almost no one noticed its departure.

Because Fang Hong had opened his eyes.

To everyone’s surprise, his pupils had turned a pale silver, somewhat reminiscent of when he used Dragon Soul Power, but without the bright smoke of light. In the center of that pale silver, there was only an imperceptible golden ring that flashed and disappeared.

He stood there calmly.

Of course, it wasn’t to show off—

But rather, he was checking his attribute panel with a look of astonishment as the previous system notification had nearly knocked him out, thinking it was a dream. But when Fang Hong opened the attribute panel, indeed there was an additional entry under character attributes:

Holy Blessing—

Asuka’s Secret Mark: Ancient secrets are inscribed within the bloodline, the intangible knowledge mastering the kingdom of life and death, seizing the power of darkness from it. Allows the one who undergoes the ritual to transform life force into Magic Power.

’Asuka’s blessing will endure forever, until the day the Sea of Light is extinguished—’

Although Fang Hong still had no understanding of what this blessing meant. Just the last added sentence left him speechless in shock. In the world of Eteliria, Deities existed, naturally, there were many blessings and curses with power.

The Servants of the Deities were skilled in these skills, and the Priests of different gods each had their own unique curses and blessings.

But he had never heard of such a blessing skill that was permanent—although there was one condition, it would last until the Sea of Light is extinguished, but who knows when the Sea of Light would extinguish, it didn’t sound like something that would be witnessed in a day or two.

This thing—

Fang Hong could not help but swallow, it was too overpowered for his liking.
