Pillar of Yita

However, today Fang Hong and his group were not particularly lucky, or perhaps the newcomers had grown savvy, for even though Tianlan had done the talking, they only managed to buy some supplies at a ”fairly reasonable” price.

Parker seized the opportunity to sell the poisoned dagger he had acquired from Dolifen. Due to its damaged condition, the buyer only paid a scrap price, which frustrated the Papalarians to the point of complaining for a long time.

In addition, he purchased a new Magic Guided Crossbow, because his original one was no longer suitable for the little dwarf’s current level, and Fang Hong didn’t have the right blueprint.

The only thing that somewhat delighted Fang Hong was that they actually bought a batch of Explosive Crystals from a Crossbowman Invoker who was planning to temporarily withdraw from the trial. In this market, these important consumables, which would prove useful in the upcoming trials, were in short supply.

It was somewhat unexpected.

When they saw the Crossbowman’s stall, they coincidentally ran into members of the Blood Oath Alliance, who also had their eyes on that batch of Explosive Crystals.

If it had been a typical bidding, it would have been bearable, but the issue arose when the others recognized Xiangzi—he wasn’t a Rain Listener, but he had always moved with the Storm, and his distinctive outfit made him hard to forget once seen.

And those from the Blood Oath Alliance just happened to come from another squad of Anlan, having just encountered the guilds in recent combat, it was not unusual for elite members to have seen each other during the fights.

Of course, what ensued escalated from mere price discussions to an open and covert struggle between the guilds. Although the Blood Oath Alliance wasn’t a Grand Guild, they were not to be underestimated, especially with the backing of the Jiefulite Red Cloak Team, which almost certainly meant deep pockets.

Not to mention that these were members of the Elite Corps who immediately quoted a price that gave Fang Hong a headache.

Fang Hong was naturally not a fool, and although Tianlan was eager to fight like a feisty little beast, he still pulled her back. This young girl came from the Twelve-Colored Iris lineage, a background not to be trifled with. By her nature, they would probably be eating on a slim budget for the Explosive Crystals for the next month.

Thankfully, although Tianlan could be somewhat temperamental, at the crucial moment she was obedient and wise. Pulled back by Fang Hong, she figured out the stakes. She couldn’t help but scowl at the people from the Blood Oath Alliance, thinking to herself, ”Tch, new money arrogance.”

The people from the Blood Oath Alliance, feeling superior, made a provocative gesture at Xiangzi: ”Pauper.”

As a hitman devoid of emotion, Xiangzi’s response was straightforward—if he could act, he would rather not speak, and his hand immediately pressed against the hilt of his sword. The other side was, naturally, well-prepared, drawing their swords unanimously.

The Lizardman Prince Tainaric, seeing this, didn’t think twice before displaying his spear and patting his ’Blood Fang’ beside him. The lizard immediately bared its fangs threateningly at the opponents. This Lizardman warrior’s way of thinking was exceptionally straightforward; anyone who dared to draw a weapon at him was an enemy.

The surrounding crowd immediately took a step back—not for fear of being caught in the fight, but for fear that in this Safe Zone, the Green Dragon Meijeli might suddenly descend from the sky and breathe out a dragon’s breath, implicating them as collateral damage.

But just at that moment.

A rather calm voice came through: ”Please stop.”

Fang Hong was slightly startled and turned around, just in time to see a black-haired girl with hair past her shoulders making her way through the crowd. She wore silver armor, her brows like drawn swords, slightly furrowed, bearing a somewhat serene expression, though not quite as impressive as Miss Hilveld, she was still strikingly beautiful.

The next thing he noticed was her shoulder armor, adorned with a burgeoning rose, shimmering with a faint silver glow under the afternoon sun.

On the girl’s back hung a two-handed sword, also a standard issue of Silver Weslan, a guild like the Tabopolis Knights Order, known for its preference for knights. Their members clad in white and silver armor, were said to always confront their enemies with honor.

And defeat them.

The knights of Silver Weslan had so many fans in the China Competition Region largely due to their honorable style of combat, which was nearly the polar opposite of their competitors, Elite.

However, Fang Hong did not recognize the girl. She was not one of the famed Invokers from the Second World of Silver Weslan, but rather, it was the girl following her that caught his particular attention.

The other girl wore armor almost identical to the knight girl’s, but her weapon was a war halberd held upside down—a very rare variant among the predominantly sword-favoring atmosphere of Silver Weslan.

Her face still bore traces of youth, but she had long, crimson hair, gathered and tied into a long ponytail that reached down to her waist.

The two girls, one after the other, were almost inseparable.

”That’s the princess of Silver Weslan,” Gita suddenly whispered, ”Miss Sophie.”

Fang Hong was slightly stunned, recalling that he had heard of her name. She was a newcomer who had risen to fame in recent years in Silver Weslan. However, she had not yet been to the Second World, thus her fame was not apparent in the real world.

”The girl behind her is her Companion Star Knight,” Gita whispered to them, ”apparently named Xi, also a newcomer of Silver Weslan.”

Twin Stars Knights.

The profession flashed through Fang Hong’s mind.

As he was distracted, the female knight had already approached them and said seriously to everyone, ”Combat is prohibited here. We of Silver Weslan are responsible for maintaining order in this place, please cooperate.”

Her voice was not loud.

But it carried an undeniable authority.
