Pillar of Yita

Hes couldn’t help but cough lightly twice below.

Both of them had forded a river; within the Phantom Realm, it was merely a duration of four to five months. The night wind was blowing, bringing with it a hint of coldness. Yet, Fang Hong was a bit curious, could ghosts catch a cold too?

However, while he thought this, he still very gentlemanly took off his coat to drape it over the other, and given his tall stature, at least the coat was mostly dry.

Hes looked at him with gratitude.

She seemed to want to say something, but Fang Hong signaled for her to hold her words, and then he climbed out to look around. They had just managed, with much difficulty, to shake off the pursuers from the Dragonfire Guild with the help of a level III Walker, but they had inadvertently attracted the attention of Dragon Worshippers during the retrieval, leading to a frenetic scramble.

Fortunately, although the Dragon Worshippers were high level, they weren’t like the Invokers from the Dragonfire Guild who were skilled at tracking, allowing him to use the bridge as cover to evade their search.

However, in the chase and escape, Fang Hong tried his best to stay in the direction of the Hustings Cathedral, but in the pitch darkness, he couldn’t be certain he was headed the right way.

He still needed to confirm exactly where he had arrived—if he had inadvertently run back to City Hall, that would truly be laughable.

Thankfully, the heaven’s didn’t play such a great joke on him.

Hiding in the bushes, he looked out. Far away were the hazel woods lining the road, which meandered into the distance. Then he saw a dark, obscure object—after scrutinizing it for a moment, he discerned it was a grape trellis.

His heart lifted with joy; that should either be a part of Hustings Cathedral’s estate or at the very least, the location of Mist Shield Manor’s vineyard, which stood adjacent to the cathedral. Seeing these things meant he was essentially on the right track.

The so-called Great Holy Cathedral, once a residence for Oly Clergy, wasn’t merely a church but, in fact, the entire area including Mist Shield Manor belonged to the church—what he needed to find was the old school building of Holite Academy, which actually had no direct connection with the main church building.

But at least having found the right direction was a good start.

Fang Hong didn’t want to think about where the others had gone for the time being. Ever since his encounter with the Dragonfire Guild, there were sporadic sounds of gunfire nearby, and he was unsure if any others were involved.

He had asked Red Leaf and Parker earlier, and the messages they had sent back indicated they hadn’t been discovered yet.

As for Hilveld and Xiesta, Fang Hong always felt that even if everyone else was found, the Lady Noble might still be well hidden.

He didn’t know where such confidence came from, but he felt a sureness in his heart, almost like an instinct.

Moreover, aside from the others, there might be members of the Tabopolis Knights Order here, or people brought by Recall, or others.

For some reason, Fang Hong once again thought of the man in the mask.

With these thoughts in his mind, he looked around and noticed that the fog here was inexplicably denser than outside, which really added to his troubles.

Then he remembered he had a ’Local Guide’ and cursed himself for being so foolish before crawling back. Hes, under the bridge, had been anxiously watching above, and seeing him return, she finally showed relief.

After Fang Hong descended, he immediately asked, ”Hes, do you know where Holite Academy is, right?”

Hes nodded.

”Can you take me there?”

Hes quickly nodded again.

Fang Hong was quite pleased and then asked, ”By the way, how come you are in this place?”

It was then that Hes showed an anxious expression and said urgently, ”Mr. Ade, please save Hudi!”

”Hudi?” Fang Hong was stunned, thinking that he was still looking for that guy: ”What happened to him?”

”Mr. Ade, the Dragon’s Golden Eyes took him to that place, and it will be too late if we delay any further—”

Fang Hong paused slightly, ”That place?”
