Pillar of Yita

Fang Hong felt a bit speechless, as he realized he had no choice but to take over this mess and continue on, and it seemed that he had to win.

Therefore, any advantage, no matter how slight, was something he had to pursue.

After putting away the brooch, Fang Hong remembered Fox. That guy was also incredibly unlucky; he didn’t know if it was because Parker killed him, or if it was due to being infected with the Doom Curse.

Apart from dropping some mission items and trivial knick-knacks and money, the victim had also dropped a genuine piece of equipment.

And it wasn’t just any equipment, but a Void Prism.

Fang Hong took out the item and looked at it from side to side, his heart filled with a sense of disbelief, even surreal astonishment.

Because this object was actually essential for deploying the Flexible Construct.

Commonly known as the Combat Artisan’s Space Ring—

Of course, it wasn’t actually a ring, or even considered an ornament, rather it was a plugin for the Magic Guided Reactor. Fox seemed to be a minor leader of the Dragon Worship Sect, and this item was definitely not cheap, even though the Void Prism he had was just the standard type.

It had the volume of a cube or was no more than thirty kilograms.

More importantly, inside this Void Prism was a brand-new Walker III type Flexible Construct, with the production tag still not removed.

This meant that the other party had either just purchased it, or it had always been kept inside as a spare without ever being used. In any case, now it was a bargain for him.

Fang Hong looked at the item and barely managed to stop himself from laughing out loud.

The Model III Walker was the most popular model in the Walker series of constructs in the past decade, incomparable to the outdated Walker II in performance.

Not to mention the very first Walker prototype he made, disregarding anything else, the difference in size alone placed them in completely different classes.

He still remembered his first Walker ’Sword Hong,’ barely the size of a basketball, whereas this fully equipped Walker III was nearly one meter tall, weighed twenty-nine kilograms, and surpassed the ’Fortress’ in all aspects of offense and defense.

Only in Agility might it be slightly inferior to ’Sword Hong,’ but their burst speeds were not even on the same level.

Fox’s Walker III was the commonly seen ’Sword Bearer’ model on the market, but although common, it was anything but cheap. Its factory price at the Emerald Bird Workshop was 150,000 Lycels, not counting one’s own labor; the material costs alone would be at least half of that amount.

It was like being offered a pillow while dozing off; Fang Hong couldn’t help but shake his head inwardly. This internationalist warrior named Fox had really done him a huge favor; what he lacked now was combat power at hand.

He carefully plugged the device into the Magic Guided Reactor, and then he turned back to look at the others, when he suddenly frowned and asked:

”By the way, where’s Mr. Diket?”

Red Leaf shook her head, ”You mean that Knight? Haven’t seen him since before—”

”And your employer, the man wearing the mask, he’s also gone,” Parker added from the side.

Fang Hong looked behind and asked, ”Is that a problem?”

Red Leaf scrunched her eyebrows and shook her head: ”Our mission is to resolve the troubles here, not to ensure his safety. It was his problem to come to this place in person.”

”Speaking of which,” her tone was slightly suspicious as she asked, ”haven’t you noticed that the incarnation of Dragon’s Golden Eyes hasn’t appeared at all either? Could it have been blown up by the Captain?”

Parker spoke nonchalantly, ”If that’s the case, then we’d go up ten levels.”
