COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Although this island is deserted by Chairman’s girl Sakayanagi, there are a bunch of snakes just waiting to spit venom on Hikigaya-kun.

And, it was because of seeing those creatures Hachiman confirmed, his deskmate Suzune is very reliable.

“You specifically let my identity as the team leader be revealed to Ibuki-girl.  What are you thinking?” Koenji decided to poke around for a while.

It doesn’t hurt to tickle, right?

“It’s not just that,” But, Hachiman was pretty humble, “On the one hand, it brings points to the class. Plus, I also hope to form an alliance with Class B,  Then I get points from Ichinose!”

Or not.

“???” Koenji, who slightly underestimated this person’s greed.

’Previously on Hachiman of the Elite, I understood that our main character had wished Ibuki to deliberately pass on the leader information to Class D and A, which was allied with that

Magenta-hair boy.....’

Then, let Class A deduct points.

As long as you, it will be beneficial to Class B.

So, this is doing business with Ichinose.

’While doing that means Hikigaya-boy is also collecting points.’ ”Do you want to fly solo?” Koenji couldn’t help but raise this question.

He himself plans to fly solo. ’If Hikigaya-boy also wants to join my plane, it would be a good option.’

This class really cannot be supported.

“I don’t have this idea. You need 20 million points to fly solo, but wouldn’t it be a whole lot better to just convert into cash?” Hachiman’s eyes gained the green dollar sign, while he said this.

“.....” Koenji, whose eyes were left blind for a second.

That’s really short-sighted.

He was born in the Koenji Conglomerate, was not interested in going to the university he wanted, or the company to find a job, etc....just because the school rewarded Class A with no exams and tuition fees.

He was born superior to others.

But, ordinary people can also enter the upper class by cashing in school rewards, which is very useful to themselves and future generations. ’Result, Hikigaya-boy thinks 20 million is more valuable....’

“You look a little unambitious, Hikigaya-boy. I thought you wanted to fly across classes,” Koenji’s remark now here was a little rude.

But Hachiman and Koenji had different ideas.

’Because compared with an option to get ahead, I would always choose 20 million yen!’

Getting ahead may cause various problems on Kushida’s ass to deal with. Just look at what happened to Karuizawa’s blue coloured under-

“Hikigaya-kun!”

“Right, I won’t talk about it, okay?!”

20 million is actually tangible.

Want to jump class?

Even if Yukimura feels that apart from his own hard work, there is no other way to achieve success.

There is also an easy channel.

’If I could meet a rich woman who is willing to take care of me, wouldn’t that mean I had actually transcended class difference?’

It’s just that ordinary people need to spend a lot of time or effort to accumulate a certain economic foundation, and through struggle, they can barely cross the gap.

This fact is really cruel.

So, Koenji and Hachiman, who felt cruel, just continued to clear their bases.

At about 7 o’clock, the two returned to the stronghold.

People have already woken up.

Sky looked like it was going to rain but it didn’t.

However, the air on the island is very comfortable. Students have already started to wash.

And, Hachiman discovered that Ibuki was still inside their camp.

“Ohayo...” Ibuki sat by the fire and actually greeted Hachiman proactively.

“Ohayo?” Hachiman responded back, with a doubt.

“Are you the team leader?” However, Ibuki unexpectedly asked such a random question.

At the same time, the topic is just so straightforward.

Hachiman feels that he may be a straight man, but this Ibuki seems to be a super wood loving girl.

Because, it was almost written on her face that she already knew the leader of his class.

’Didn’t you see the look of surprise on the face of Horikita who came to the fire after washing up?’

In other words, she really took a photo of the moment when Koenji swiped his card!’

”Why do you say that?” Hachiman asked while maintaining a calm expression on his face.

”Because you just came back from outside with Koenji, right?” Ibuki seemed to have now realised, she had put a lot of pressure on Hachiman’s head.

Just a few more.

“Usually, there are people who are out to support you while Koenji is busy marking the base!”

“But, Sudo didn’t go with you today!”

“.....” Hachiman didn’t speak this time, because he noticed Ibuki now also dropped using honorifics for every one.

Her mood seemed to be pretty good, even a little cheery.

“But, I think your class had better pay more attention. Occupied so many strongholds this time, if the team leader is guessed, your success will be ruined,” Ibuki even gave him a short advice, dangers which needed to be look out for.

“Because you took me in, I can keep it secret. I won’t tell others, but you’d better be more careful, Hikgaya!” Ibuki puffed up her non-existent chest, and said all of this while looking straight into boy’s eyes.

Trying to convey her sincerity.

“You are really awesome, thank you Ibuki-san. I am grateful...” Hachiman said, while his face darkened.

“..Speaking of which, will you believe me?” But, Ibuki continued to ask.

”Of course I believe you!” Hachiman also nodded desperately, as if looking at his real life saviour.

He could also play this game.

“Because, you definitely can’t act with Ryuen.....Even, the injuries on your face aren’t healed yet.” Hachiman gave her a worried look.

“.....” Ibuki, who is indeed acting with Ryuen.

She felt a lot of sympathy for the injury on her face by Ryuen just like he said earlier.

It hasn’t been suspected yet.

Only, Hachiman was seriously acting with her, because what she photographed earlier.... Koenji was the leader.

’As a result, Ibuki revealed that I was the ghost this whole time!’

’In other words, she was somewhat wary of me. Then, I also choose to pretend with her!’

Ibuki’s Monologue

’But it’s a pity, Hikigaya, your class is doomed.’

’Although, I was gratefully taken in, Ibuki Mio also had her own stand...’

’You, and Kushida are both good people, but I can only do bad things...’

“Thank you for believing in me,” Ibuki lowered her head, giving Hachiman a respectful bow.

But Hachiman, who believed her, looked back at the cute little angel with golden hair who walked out with  Suzune.

“.....” Kushida-chan found herself being stared at. Then, she noticed it was only Hikigaya-kun looking at her.

’Oh, I understand you boss!’

This was the shadow agreement between Hikigaya-kun and her.
