COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

“Fool, Ibuki-san....”

Tense expressions on both Suzune and Kushida’s face all relaxed, in a mere second.

Felt that Ibuki seemed to be easier to deceive.

After all, the girl has no idea that she is being used as a guinea pig for everyone to test the poison.

Then, even though she clearly hid the device that used to make secret talk with Ryuen, but she didn’t know how to wash her hands and eliminate the traces.

Leave evidence behind.

And, the location where Hachiman found Ibuki’s device...also a small branch stuck on top, which she used as a mark.

Very easy to spot.

At the same time, pocketing Karuizawa’s underwear seems to be a good plan.

On the one hand, it can destroy the cohesion of Hachiman’s class, and make chaos, then obtain information about the leader of Class C.

It’s just that she took it too much for granted.

Hachiman and Suzune deliberately cooperated to make the girls think ’of outsiders doing the crime, and Ibuki was the biggest suspect!”

Her plan of creating a loud noise didn’t go much smoothly.

Because the people in Hachiman’s class are not good at facing trouble.

Once they are falsely accused, they will quickly blame others.

But, as long as someone from outside the class is nominated to become the winner, she will soon be regarded as the target of attack.

And once she is near the corner of being expelled, Hachiman will also provide information about the leader of the shitty Class C.

At the same time, Ibuki wanted to frame the wrong person.

Since everyone hates Yamauchi, that girl should also frame him.

Rather than frame poor Hikigaya-kun.

’Look, isn’t this just being backlashed by Hikigaya-kun?’

In other words, although Ibuki-san has an IQ, her brain is not very strong.

“Even though Ibuki is needed, but I think as long as Ryuen is still on the island, the leader of Class C should be him....that guy rules violently, just one word, so I don’t think he will hand over his identity as leader to random people.....”

”Then, since Ryuen can sell all the 300 points and join forces with Class A, although it is an excellent solution to this exam, this also shows that people will respond as long as he gives enough chips....”

“They are greedy people, it’s probably okay for him to betray Class A...So, my escape route is Ryuen,” From the start Hachiman didn’t want to do much hard work, and now, he is getting free tools.

“Just give him a chance to get info about the leader of Class A!”

“I hope he doesn’t disappoint me!”

Other Side

“I hope you won’t disappoint me, Ibuki....” Ryuen was also thinking the same thing at the moment.

After Class C was depressed due to the underwear incident, Ibuki also left.

Because, students were not in a good condition, no one paid attention to her trajectory.

At this time, Ibuki had successfully reunited with Ryuen.

According to regulations, they will say hello in this area once, the next morning.

Time limit is 12 o’clock.

And now, it’s 11.

“So, what did you find today?” Ryuens’s predatory gaze is now busy scanning her profile, rubbing his butt on a rock, “Kaneda has already completed his mission....”

“Did he now? This quickly!” Ibuki was really surprised, when she heard that.

Only then did she see a figure coming  from behind.

It was Kaneda who was wearing glasses and had bruises on the corner of his mouth.

Kaneda is a boy with yellow hair.

Very similar to that of his uncle from another world.

Even if the appearance is not handsome enough, but his brain is very smart.

He is one of the few students in Ryuen’s class with an academic ability of B or above.

Then he was also the first candidate arranged by Ryuen to contact Class B, obtain data about the leader.

“No, it’s just good luck.” Kaneda shrugged it off, even though he is feeling a little proud inside, “The time Ichinose and the others occupied the base was relatively underworld!”

“They guarded a machine in the vegetable field that Class C once occupied. Then, I adjusted the time and waited until the morning when the person was about to swipe the leader card to reoccupy, and hid not far away to take a peek...”

“I saw Ichinose and a girl named, Chihiro Shiranami going to swipe their cards together!”

”Although there were 2 people, in the end it was Chihiro Shiranami who swiped the machine....and, then”

“Then, w-what?” Ibuki was just left being incredulous, she didn’t think Kaneda was this good, always made him a joke.

“I took pictures....Although I didn’t capture the leader card, but snap has  Shiranami-san using it.”

“Only the team leader can swipe the card, and Class B is working very hard to save the initial points this time....”

“They should not be able to do anything that will deduct points in vain, so I speculate that the leader of Class B should be Chihiro Shiranami!”

Kaneda felt like he should be rewarded, giving a long-ass explanation of around 400 words long.

“Then, your mission is basically done with,” Ryuen also cracked an evil smile after hearing Kaneda’s tone of being such confidence, “But don’t alert the enemy, just keep lurking.”

“Yes, I was planning on doing the same.....”

“And today I saw Hikigaya, Suzune Horikita and Kikyo Kushida of Class C visiting Ichinose-san together!”

Although, Kaneda was assigned a certain task by Ryuen, he was not stupid and knew how to make the most of himself.

“It seemed like they had been discussing it for a long time,” Kaneda felt a soup being made, so he just continued to sniff his nose around.

“kuku, these two classes have already formed an alliance,” Ryuen gave a small chuckle at knowing how much people are feeling desperate, “But we can’t take it lightly, so what did they discuss?”

“I was worried about being suspected by them, so I walked away quietly....” Kaneda shook his head.

“.....” Ibuki, who did exactly the opposite, after entering Karuizawa’s tent.

“It’s okay...” Ryuen waved his hand, indifferently, not finding it much of a pain, “It’s better to say that you were right to leave. That girl Suzune caused us a big loss in the Sudo’s incident!”

“That Hikigaya was also a sharp guy on the ship....”

“Um?” Kaneda got confused, did something happen?

“I wanted to take photos of Suzune on the ship, but Hikigaya took 18 photos of me, instead....”

Damn, Kaneda really didn’t know such petty things took place behind.

“That guy’s reaction was quite strange, ” Ryuen now touched his chin with right palm, opening his mouth after a second, “Moreover, their class has obtained so many bonus points this time, which will definitely increase the vigilance of others.....”

“So....” Ryuen now looked at Ibuki. This is why he deliberately stayed so long today.

“It stands to reason they will not take in outsiders at will. After all, if other classes guess their team leader, all the bonus points in occupying so many strongholds will be cleared,” Ryuen briefly did a recon on the situation of his enemy, Class C.

“So if they find you weird, I think Hikigaya or Suzune might even hand you over to Class B....”

“Can people do this?!” Ibuki felt like today’s visit was planned to make her go with a blank face.

Surprised by Ryūen’s vision.

“Why not? Because they can’t afford to lose....Hikigaya and Suzune took the lead and occupied most of the strongholds on the island. I also explored deeper and found just one, so the spots they occupy now must be claimed repeatedly....”

“In fact, their strategies are very similar to ours....We converted the 300 S points into living expenses.”

”And they are clinging to a bonus score of more than 300 points!”

“We can all gain huge benefits. Both of these methods are excellent answers to this exam. The difference, is just Suzune aiming for Class points....”

“Still want to reach Class A. Instead of us just taking money directly. So, when a guy from outside comes to their base, they won’t feel at ease....”

”Then sending you to Class B is a good plan...But, in the end, you were still able to join. I think something’s wrong with that,” Ryuen was having that bad feeling again.

“Is there a problem? Actually, they just started arguing, and finally most of the classmates agreed to take me in,” Ibuki thought he was only being too paranoid, ”There’s nothing Horikita and Hikigaya can do!”

Even the honorifics are being dropped.

“• | • ” Ryuen, now made a long face.
