Rebirth in Another World as the Undead Queen

Alchemy Results

Grinding, boiling, mana precipitation...

The fundamental procedures of Potion Making were these, though some potions required other special processes.

Both sides adjusted the heat and simmered their potions; in the blink of an eye, fifteen minutes had passed, and Camilla was the first to stop heating.

After adding the ingredient to harmonize mana, letting the potion cool a bit, she followed Little Gold’s instructions and placed her hands on the outside of the alchemy cauldron, releasing light-attribute mana into it. With Camilla’s careful control, the potion was nearly complete.

Up to this point, little Gold seemed very satisfied, then looked over to Celia’s side...

Only to see Celia also stop the heat, and without a word, she began bottling the potion directly. Upon seeing this, little Gold grew anxious.

”Hey, hey, hey, you haven’t used mana to activate the medicinal properties yet.”

”It’s already done.”

Celia ignored him, proceeding to fill four bottles with 50ml of red potion each.

”Already done? Could it be!”

Little Gold flew over to those potion bottles and examined them closely, exclaiming in astonishment.

”Oh, what a masterpiece! You actually activated the medicinal properties during the heating process; you do have guts!”

As Little Gold was praising her, Camilla finished on her side as well. She carefully bottled her potion, but due to earlier mishandling of the fire, much of the Blood Spring had evaporated, so she only managed to make three bottles of 50ml red potion.

”Not bad. For your first time handling vampire alchemy, being able to achieve this is excellent too.”

”Tha... Thank you.”

Camilla replied, then glanced at the potion Celia had made. At a glance, she knew she was utterly defeated.

Those were four bottles with not a single speck of residue, looking as exquisite as works of art.

”Let the Queen judge the skill of the two alchemists, please.”

”Alright.”

Serea spoke, and first picked up Camilla’s potion. Secretly, she used Appraise.

Vampire Life Healing Potion (Level 1): Can restore 7% of recoverable wounds.

”Not bad, you made exactly the potion I wanted as required.”

Serea spoke, and faced with this timid girl, reached out and placed a hand on her head. Such encouragement gave Camilla a bit of confidence, although she knew she could never beat Celia...

She then picked up Celia’s potion.

Vampire Life Healing Potion (Level 3, purple): Can restore 22% of recoverable wounds and also restores some stamina.

Purple! And Level 3!

The higher the level of the potion, the better the efficacy and the faster the effect. Without medical personnel, this bottle was essentially half a life saved.

”Not bad.”

Thousands of words became just two. Serea was no longer surprised by Dogsius’ methods.

”You are both very good. From now on, Camilla, in addition to serving as a handmaiden, stay here to study alchemy.”

Serea said, and upon hearing this, the always downcast Camilla lifted her head slightly.

”I...can I?”

”Of course.”

”But Miss Celia is clearly more...”

”I have my reasons. Or do you not want to study here?”

”No, of course I do!”

Camilla replied. How could she refuse such a wonderful opportunity to learn alchemy?

”Alright, that’s settled then.”

Though Dogsius’ technique was more advanced, it was fine for Dogsius to help with alchemy occasionally, but if Dogsius stayed here all the time...

There were still other places Serea needed Dogsius for, so it was better to cultivate Camilla into a specialized alchemist.

”We need to make more potions these next few days. Besides healing potions, other types are needed as well, so Celia, help out whenever you have time.”

”Yes, master!”

Celia blurted out, but as soon as the words left her mouth, realizing something, she immediately covered her lips.

Dogsius had gotten careless and forgotten that this was still Celia’s body...

”Master?”

”So that’s how it is, Celia and Queen Serea have that kind of relationship, so bold!”

”No... no wonder the Queen, even Miss Celia...”

Lola and Vina’s imaginations ran wild, and thinking back to those inexplicable things they’d witnessed before between Celia and Serea...

Seeing Lola’s group suddenly blushing, Serea hurriedly shouted.

”Stop with your strange imaginations right now!”

And realizing she had let something slip, Dogsius quickly returned the body to Celia.

Regaining control of her body, Celia let go of her mouth, her cheeks flushed and she chose to remain silent.

”Ahem, anyway, let’s not dwell on that.”

Serea ended that awkward topic, and for now, the Blood Alchemy Room was functioning normally. Besides potions, some alchemical materials and tools could also be made here.

Flux agents, rock oil, all sorts of things—even a few peculiar small gadgets...

Right now, however, little Gold’s recorded recipes were few; Serea would need to improve them little by little herself.

Next, Serea gazed at the ’Death Altar’ building. Although she could unlock another level two building currently, she was hesitating, unsure if she should proceed.

The reason for this hesitation was the current restricted channels for gaining Death Crystals. Without storing up Death Crystals, if a large-scale battle suddenly broke out, there’d be no materials to replenish the Undead.

So, should she spend 500 Death Crystals to unlock it now...

While Serea pondered this, news came from the Black Knight.

There was trouble at the Xiyun Merchant Guild!

With Dogsius’ spiritual link assisting, Serea observed the situation there—she saw fire lighting up a forest path as numerous lizardmen lay seriously wounded, seemingly blasted by something.

”Queen, the Xiyun Merchant Guild’s trading partner, the ’Lizardmen tribe,’ was attacked. Avril is requesting we send medical personnel.”

”Alright, wait a moment, I’ll send people over right away.”

After responding to the Black Knight, Serea looked at Lola.

”Lola, go assemble medical personnel from the Darkmoon clan. Camilla, assemble medics from the blood slave unit. We leave in three minutes.”

”Yes, Your Majesty.”

”Ri... right!”

As for why Camilla had to go, she too was a priest.

The two hurried off, then Serea led the rest of the group out as well. Little Black and the others had rushed over upon notification, and after assembling, they all set out for the scene of the attack.

From the Black Knight’s intelligence, Serea learned this attack wasn’t aimed at the Xiyun Merchant Guild, but at the lizardmen who came to trade.

But to Serea, this meant...

”Since they can’t strike at the Xiyun Merchant Guild, they’re targeting its trading partners instead. What a scheme!”
