Berserk God of War

The other Demons, including the Village Elders, were equally shocked...

But before they could react, Sikong Jing appeared in front of the leading Great Village Elder and said, ”I just found out, Demon Scale Island has elders like you who blindly favor others. You’re asking for a beating!”

Slap...

Sikong Jing slapped the Great Village Elder, sending him flying.

Next, he flitted among everyone present, striking each Demon down to the ground with consecutive palms.

Instantly, miserable screams echoed around Yinlu’s small hut.

Within just a few breaths, almost every Demon of Huilin Village was on the ground; only Brother Daniu and Yinlu remained standing, and finally Sikong Jing flashed back to stand before Yinlu.

Yinlu gaped, murmuring, ”You, you said you were going to reason with the Village Elders.”

Sikong Jing simply laughed in response, ”Yes, reasoning comes after knocking them down. My past experiences have shown me that some people won’t listen until they’re down.”

At this moment, Sikong Jing exuded a calm dominance!

Speaking again, he looked at Brother Daniu in front of him, ”Thank you again for saving me from the seaside, but one thing is separate from another. I will certainly give you a gift of thanks, but before that, shall we reason a little?”

Brother Daniu looked at the villagers fallen behind him, opened his mouth, and stared at Sikong Jing.

In an instant, the Demonic Qi energy throughout his body nearly dissipated, leaving only one thought in his mind: there’s no way I can withstand this move from the Black Scale Demon; how can he be this terrifying?

He looked at Yinlu with some inferiority and despair, saying sorrowfully, ”Turns out he’s so formidable; it’s only reasonable you’d fancy him.”

Clearly, Brother Daniu still believed Hui Lu’s crafty words.

Yinlu couldn’t help but collapse in expression, shouting hysterically, ”I’ve said, I’m not planning to leave!”

Why does everyone think I want to elope with the Black Scale Demon? I don’t even know his name.

At this point, Sikong Jing couldn’t help but twitch his mouth, his gaze falling onto Bai Lin Hui Lu.

Whew...

He opened his hand and absorbed Hui Lu into his palm instantly; amid the dramatic facial changes of the villagers... slap!

Another slap landed heavily on Hui Lu’s face, and then Sikong Jing coldly said, ”First, the reasoning we need is the truth... immediately tell everyone what Yinlu’s situation is!”

Hui Lu covered her face, screaming, ”I was just going to elope with you...”

Slap!

Before she finished, Sikong Jing delivered another slap and said, ”You keep talking, I’ll keep hitting until you speak reasonably.”

By this time, the nearby villagers of Huilin Village had already stood up, all looking equally grief-stricken.

The Black Scale Demon was simply bullying them too much.

The Great Village Elder couldn’t help but roar, ”Everyone go up now, quickly save my precious granddaughter.”

One by one, they rushed towards Sikong Jing again, but Sikong Jing’s True Qi only slightly trembled, sending everyone flying.

Then he looked back at Hui Lu, his hand slightly raised, and cold killing intent swept across the scene.

Next moment, Hui Lu couldn’t bear it anymore, and screamed aloud; she finally revealed the truth... naturally, the eloping story was her fabrication, it never happened.

Instantly, including Brother Daniu, all the villagers of Huilin Village were dumbfounded.

And Sikong Jing casually tossed Hui Lu to the ground, then looked at Brother Daniu, ”Now, do you still challenge me?”

Brother Daniu was speechless at this moment.

However, the Great Village Elder rushed forward with a face full of coldness to support Hui Lu, shouting aloud, ”Even so, Yinlu might not want to be a sacrifice, or else why would she resist Hui Lu... Ah!”

Sikong Jing gave him no time to finish, stomping heavily on the Great Village Elder, making him scream repeatedly.

”Resistance only shows Yinlu wants some time to pack her things.”

Sikong Jing clarified, then coldly said, ”I am puzzled, is this the time to discuss such matters? You should be feeling pity and sympathy for Yinlu going to be a sacrifice, why are you still squabbling like this?”

At this point, Sikong Jing looked directly at Brother Daniu, who trembled all over with his mouth agape.

Pointing again at Hui Lu, Sikong Jing said, ”You, for the man you fancy, implicate Yinlu who is about to be sacrificed; don’t you know she is going to die? Where is your conscience?”

Pointing at Brother Daniu again, Sikong Jing said, ”Yinlu is about to die, and you still want to challenge me, is there any point?”

Finally, Sikong Jing glanced at all the villagers in Huilin Village, chillingly saying, ”Yinlu is someone from your village, whom you’ve watched grow up; instead of comforting her, you resort to blame and scolding, what does that count as?”

Sikong Jing’s voice rolled out, shaking Brother Daniu’s entire body, and some villagers’ faces turned slightly pale.

Yet there were still people full of defiance, as one Village Elder shouted, ”She ran away, what do we do without a sacrifice? Is it wrong to call her ingrate?”

Many villagers nodded heavily, and someone added, ”Exactly, her running is dooming us.”

Nevertheless, Sikong Jing’s expression remained unchanged...

”What I’m saying, even if you’re forced, you shouldn’t think Yinlu’s sacrifice is natural.

”You should be sad for her tragic destiny.”

As Sikong Jing’s words progressed, some villagers couldn’t help but lower their heads.

By right, they should comfort Yinlu, should treat her doubly well in the limited time...

But Hui Lu screamed again, ”Why be sad, she was born a lowly sacrifice, why be sad for a sacrifice?”

Many villagers stood behind Hui Lu in solidarity, there’s no such sadness, it has been like this for centuries.

Yinlu gaped, tears uncontrollably flowed down again.

Although she was very scared, she was willing to sacrifice for the villagers, yet such attitudes hurt her deeply.

Sikong Jing looked at the Demons around him, suddenly shrugged...

”Looks like you’re incapable of listening to reason, but I still want to say one more thing.”

”Yinlu is a person; you should be grateful for her sacrificing for you. If she doesn’t want to sacrifice for you, that’s her choice; you have no right or qualification to force her.”

”And now, she decides... not to be a sacrifice!”

With that said, Sikong Jing suddenly rolled Yinlu into the small hut, then locked the door heavily, declaring, ”Step one foot inside the hut and you get killed without mercy!”

Buzz...

A sword light surged out from the hut with Sikong Jing’s words, slicing past the villagers outside.

In an instant, a deep sword trench was carved from the hut’s entrance.

Immediately, all the villagers outside the hut were petrified.

Everyone looked at each other, faces dumbfounded, finally, everyone turned to the leading Great Village Elder.

”What do we do, this damn Black Scale Demon is too frightening, time is running out.”

”If we can’t send Yinlu as a sacrifice, our Huilin Village will have to send more people to work on Divine Demon Island.”
