Berserk God of War

The siblings were weeping, their faces covered in tears.

And the Thousand Prison Tower guard in front of them snarled ferociously, ”Stop arguing, you’re all going to die... Ah!”

Yet before he could finish, the guards of the Thousand Prison Tower let out a scream...

They were fiercely struck by a massive demon claw, controlled by Sikong Jing, who had arrived on the scene with his car-pulling demon beast.

He crushed them all into meat pies.

The Fu siblings, who had been crying out, suddenly froze in place.

A breath later, Fu Miaoling, wiping the blood and tears off her face, stammered, ”Si, Sikong Young Master.”

Even though what stood before her was a demon beast, she knew Sikong Jing was inside.

Inside the car-pulling demon beast, Sikong Jing said, ”Find a place to hide for now, wait for my next move, no one is allowed to die.”

Having said that, Sikong Jing said no more and continued controlling the car-pulling demon beast upward...

Thump, thump...

The Fu siblings knelt down together, bowing deeply towards the direction of the car-pulling demon beast, then collapsed to the ground.

They clung to each other tightly, turning into figures of tears.

Over there, Sikong Jing began killing, and as he went upward, more and more people appeared, with each Thousand Prison Tower chess piece protecting their family and fighting relentlessly against the guards of the Thousand Prison Tower.

The sounds of the brutal battle echoed continuously.

And when Sikong Jing appeared with the car-pulling demon beast, everyone suddenly became invigorated.

Yet Sikong Jing sternly instructed, ”Now, your task is to protect your families, leave the fighting to me.”

Upon his words, Sikong Jing used the demon power of the car-pulling demon beast to push everyone aside, and charged towards the masters and guards within the Thousand Prison Tower.

Suddenly, he was surrounded by the guards of the Thousand Prison Tower.

But because of Sikong Jing’s appearance, the clustered Thousand Prison Tower chess pieces and their families continued to gather together.

They protected their families, watching Sikong Jing in the form of the car-pulling demon beast battling alone.

They watched as the car-pulling demon beast was continuously wounded by the masters of the Thousand Prison Tower, moved to the extreme.

Of course, this car-pulling demon beast was now in a demonized, unconscious state. If it had consciousness, it would surely tell Sikong Jing, ”You’re amazing, you’re noble, you’re righteous, but the one bleeding isn’t you, damn it.”

As time passed, all the living Thousand Prison Tower chess pieces were completely gathered together.

They divided half of themselves to protect all the non-combatant families, while the other half followed Sikong Jing in an all-out attack... kill kill kill!

...

Outside the Qianwang Golden Light Tower, the Qianwang Holy City was already in chaos.

The specific reason, of course, was not because Qu Hanming was contacting the Qianwang opposers, but because of Pei Kuang’s previous order.

Which was... to slay the beasts throughout the city.

The people of Qianwang Holy Tower wanted to slaughter the demon beast mounts of the outsiders, yet how could these demon beasts not resist, and their owners also resisted, how could they let the people of Qianwang Holy Tower kill their precious mounts?

Hence, the entire city was incredibly chaotic...

The threats from Qianwang Holy Tower echoed continuously, while geniuses and strong figures from various sides made excuses to evade. Although they dared not directly confront Qianwang Holy Tower, they were determined to protect their demon beasts.

Some hid deeply with their demon beasts, while others gathered to argue with the Qianwang people.

Of course, there were also absolute supporters of Qianwang who slaughtered their or others’ demon beasts, pressuring others to do the same with the people of Qianwang Holy Tower.

At this moment, yet another voice soared into the sky, ”Qianwang Holy Tower, our demon beast mounts can’t just be killed by you randomly, you should first open the holy city and let us leave with our mounts.”

Someone echoed, ”Yes, to prevent our demon beasts from being controlled by human-shaped beasts, open the holy city array.”

This voice was instantly supported by countless people, each demanding that Qianwang Holy Tower open the city’s array.

Everyone now knew that there was a terrifying human-shaped beast in the Golden Light Tower fighting with Pei Kuang, and because of the Golden Light Tower Formation, the city’s demon beasts weren’t fully controlled, only intimidated.

Therefore, as long as the holy city’s array was opened, they could distance themselves from the human-shaped beast and avoid control.

But without Pei Kuang’s order, how could anyone in the holy city dare to open it?

In short, the Qianwang Holy City was thrown into more chaos because of these words.

At this moment, in a courtyard somewhere in the city, an elder asked in a low voice, ”Mountain Master Qu, what should we do next?”

This elder was previously Brother Zhang’s grandpa of Fenglei City, and Qu Hanming had already completed the first phase of his mission, assembling and convincing many Qianwang opposers from Fenglei City...

The voice demanding the holy city array be opened was from Grandpa Zhang.

And it was also Qu Hanming’s intention...

At this moment, Qu Hanming stared at the direction of Qianwang Golden Light Tower and said slowly, ”Wait, wait for the Golden Light Tower’s formation to be demolished.”

Grandpa Zhang and others clenched their fists tightly, waiting nervously, watching Qianwang Golden Light Tower.

Although they had been convinced by Qu Hanming, although they despised Qianwang Holy Tower and had been oppressed by them, opposing them within Qianwang Holy City still made their hearts tremble...

They’d never done anything so exhilarating in their lives, it was like living with heads hanging from their belts.

Suddenly, a command came from the Qianwang Golden Light Tower: ”The Tower Master has ordered, continue the city-wide beast slaughter, those who don’t comply shall die!”

With these words, the city fell silent instantly...

Then... woosh woosh woosh!

The clamorous sounds continually exploded in the city, followed by another decree shaking the entire city: ”All sects must slaughter demon beasts voluntarily, anyone who slays a beast will receive a great reward from Qianwang Holy Tower, those who resist will be deemed enemies of Qianwang... and be mercilessly killed!”

The overwhelming sound left countless people trembling in fear, their mouths dry and faces pale.

Some clung tightly to their mounts, terrified to the extreme.

Grandpa Zhang and others were also trembling violently; they looked once more towards Qu Hanming, with Grandpa Zhang asking, ”Mountain Master Qu, Pei Kuang is determined to slaughter beasts throughout the city, why won’t he just open the holy city?”

Before Qu Hanming could answer, a strong figure said, ”Dead beasts are the only ones that can’t be controlled, and letting them out would still be dangerous for Qianwang Holy Tower, as their territory isn’t just the Qianwang Holy City...”

Qu Hanming and others nodded heavily, knowing there were also the Ten Emperor Cities, Bai Zun City, and so on outside.

Pei Kuang wanted a one-and-done solution, to weaken the power of human-shaped beasts by killing them.

”Yet doing so divides the supporters and opposers sharply, doesn’t Pei Kuang fear that more people will join the opposition? The beasts may be slaughtered, but more people will be forced to join the human-shaped beast’s war group.”

Another person asked hesitantly...

One could say that Pei Kuang’s order explicitly divided supporters and opposers...

Those who slaughter beasts would be friends of Qianwang Holy Tower, while those who didn’t would be enemies.

Qu Hanming closed his eyes deeply, thinking hard before opening them with a sinister gleam, ”Pei Kuang is confident that with this order, the hesitant ones will slay beasts and temporarily join Qianwang Holy Tower’s side.”

Besides supporters and opposers, there were a large number of hesitant people within the holy city.

In Pei Kuang’s view, these hesitant ones couldn’t make up their minds to resist Qianwang Holy Tower, so they’d have to grit their teeth and slay their demon beast mounts to ensure safety and temporarily avoid offending Qianwang Holy Tower.

After all, Qianwang Holy Tower’s authority was long-standing, and Pei Kuang was confident that many hesitant people would choose to compromise.

And once the enemy is clearly defined, Qianwang Holy Tower can gather all supporters and hesitant ones, to slaughter more demon beasts and opposers, and fully suppress all Qianwang opposers...
