From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

As the unique Plane Merchant in this dimension, Su Jiameng felt that she really lacked the potential for business and had no enthusiasm for this activity. Such a good thing falling into her hands was truly a waste.

Sighing slightly, Su Jiameng found several messages in her private email from months ago, all from the same person. Her fingers paused slightly, and after some hesitation she opened them to find that the person was still as concise, using only two words and a punctuation mark from beginning to end—[Are you there?], the most recent contact was half a month ago...

Since becoming a Plane Merchant, Su Jiameng had only conducted trade with this person. Although it was a fair exchange of goods for money, Su Jiameng knew in her heart that the other party had indeed helped her a lot. Not to mention, without the other party’s grand gestures like ”Arms Dealer,” she couldn’t have exchanged those files for substantial benefits.

Thinking it over, she sent a reply, ”I’m here, I’ve been busy training for more than a year and haven’t logged in here...”

In contrast to Su Jiameng’s months-long silence in replying, the ”Arms Dealer•Plane Merchant” with ID XXX2011161140 was very diligent, apparently also online, and quickly responded, ”So long not logging into the Plane Trading Platform?”

Su Jiameng looked at these words, quite puzzled. Was it strange that she hadn’t logged in for so long? Could there be penalties for not logging in for such a long time? Her mind raced for a moment and Su Jiameng gave a definite reply, ”Yes, because there will be major changes in the coming years, I need to quickly restore my former strength, so I didn’t consider this here...”

The guy with the ID XXX2011161140 wasn’t someone with a lot of curiosity and didn’t like probing into others’ secrets. Since Su Jiameng didn’t want to respond directly, he figured she didn’t want to talk about those things, so he didn’t ask further.

”You better not do this in the future. Every five years, there’s an evaluation for Plane Merchants, and if your trade and login status are not up to par, at best, your merchant level will be reduced; at worst, you’ll lose the identity of a Plane Merchant.” The other party kindly mentioned.

Actually, except for people like Su Jiameng, it’s rare for the situation of ”login status not meeting standards” to occur! After all, the Plane Trading Platform is such a high-end golden finger, which merchant wouldn’t keep busy with business and amassing wealth? Don’t even mention not enough login times, they would wish they could soak in the platform every day, searching for anything profitable!

Because of this, Mr. Arms Dealer was shocked upon hearing Su Jiameng hadn’t logged in for so long. In his view, Su Jiameng should be throwing herself enthusiastically into this career, so being so indifferent towards the Plane Trading Platform was simply unscientific!

Su Jiameng was stunned; she really didn’t know there was an evaluation for Plane Merchants, a black line drew across her forehead immediately. Seems like to maintain her identity with the Plane Trading Platform and as a Plane Merchant, she has to log in every now and then and do some small business?

During her dazed state, the other party decided to end this unplanned topic and got straight to the point, ”I know you have a lot of data here... just not sure what. Whatever you have, I’ll buy it all!”

Su Jiameng was truly dumbfounded; even though the other party likely was a tycoon-like arms dealer, such words were too overbearing! Wanting to buy out her entire database? Su Jiameng twitched at the corner of her mouth; could she say the other party couldn’t afford it even if they pawned little underwear and the pawnshop?

”Though I know you’re quite a tycoon, still... some things shouldn’t be said too fully... Buying it all, you’d probably have to offer up half the universe’s wealth.” Su Jiameng kindly said a line, unknowingly playing the role of a tycoon herself and stabbing future business partners several times, ”If you need anything, list it for me, I’ll help you look...”

The other party seemed struck by Su Jiameng’s words, long remaining silent without a reply. Xiao Meng scratched her head in confusion and eventually set the matter aside, beginning to search for things she needed on the Plane Trading Platform.

Realizing the crisis was becoming increasingly urgent, an idea sprouted in Su Jiameng’s mind, though whether it could be implemented depended on whether actual circumstances allowed for it. She didn’t like matters that relied on luck very much, leaving her feeling insecure.

About a quarter of an hour later, the ”True Tycoon•Arms Dealer” responded unexpectedly, stating, ”I need a lot of war weapon data, types are not limited, but the power must be strong. If you have recipes for Forbidden Potions, advanced metal forging, or any other useful data, they’re all tradable!”
