From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

If Su Jiameng knew about this situation, she’d probably be utterly speechless. Given her rotten luck, the chances of encountering an Ancient Martial Arts Inheritor in the upcoming skirmish are quite high. With the Jialanluo Clan eyeing her fiercely from the front and the Ancient Martial Arts Inheritors pressing aggressively from behind...

Though there were so many things she wanted to complain about, Xiao Meng was currently very busy, with no time to ponder these matters.

She was seriously climbing down a steep cliff barehanded. After being in a standoff with Su Lu for so long, her coordinates had been exposed. If she doesn’t find a way to delay and hide her coordinates or eliminate the Iron Lion Team temporarily, she’s definitely in for a tough battle.

This cliff was fascinating in its terrain, like an artificially created chasm sinking over a meter deep in flat ground! The two cliff faces were almost at a ninety-degree angle, with limited places to leverage, making climbing here a true struggle.

However, Su Jiameng had her reasons for choosing this place, as most mechas are too cumbersome to venture here. If they were to use aircraft, the various protruding rocks between the two cliff walls would obstruct their flight, making it an excellent escape spot!

Even if the opponent used brute force, the explosion power of an ordinary Hotline Particle Cannon is quite limited, making it difficult to cause substantial damage in a short time. As long as she endures until the coordinates are hidden, how things unfold next would depend on her mood, right?

Su Jiameng pondered her upcoming battle plan, calculating various map and terrain data, as well as the data from various mechas in her backpack and the surrounding parts, considering what could be utilized and how it could be effective. At the same time, she searched for footholds to climb... What the hell, just who designed this damn place, it’s way too hard to climb!

Muttering curses at the map designers, Su Jiameng gritted her teeth, securing her position with her legs and one hand, while using her other hand to draw a Laser Particle Short Dagger from her waist and jam it into the wall... No foothold? No problem, make one yourself!

Slowly shifting to a spot, Su Jiameng suddenly let go, then braced her feet against the two walls, hiding her body in the shadow of a large protruding rock... Even though she was deep enough that those above couldn’t see her, Su Jiameng liked doing this, it gave her a sense of security...

Whew—though the height of this body was frustrating, the length of the legs was quite satisfying. Thinking this, Su Jiameng calculated the current climbing depth—over 260 meters, it should be really safe now.

Entertaining herself a bit, Su Jiameng slightly held her breath, relying only on her excellent hearing to judge what was happening above. Generally speaking, human hearing isn’t that good, but who told Su Jiameng to have such a OP ability as telekinesis?

Atop the cliff, hundreds of members of the Iron Lion Team gathered. Previously, following orders and leveraging the advantage brought by Su Lu, they relentlessly tracked Su Jiameng’s trail, always spotting her right before her coordinates could be hidden.

After several arrangements, they surrounded her here with a heaven-and-earth net, but unexpectedly, a slip-up allowed her escape. This area is very open without any large obstacles, and since her coordinates never changed from this spot, anyone with some sense would realize she’s hiding under the abrupt cliff!

Originally, they wanted to use explosive force, but after a few attempts, they didn’t receive a victory notification from the system. This indicated that she was still alive and resilient, and there was not much time left before her coordinates would be hidden...

”What should we do now?” The youth who seemed to be the squad leader asked through the team channel, ”The enemy cunningly escaped to the bottom of the cliff, depth unknown. Explosive attacks have had no effect... should we send members down to investigate?”

On the other end, Liu Dongyi and her sister, along with several other core members, remained silent. After a long pause, Liu Dongyi slowly said, ”How many among you have aircraft? Dispatch a reconnaissance squad immediately!”

The squad leader hesitated briefly before swiftly agreeing! And those picked as the reconnaissance squad understood well; they were akin to a ”dare-to-die squad”. Given Su Jiameng’s combat power, encountering her would mean only two outcomes!

Either die by her hands, or be tricked into falling to death at the cliff bottom! The former might be preferable as it’s a quick death, but if it’s the latter... the ”dare-to-die squad” shivered, not daring to imagine that lovely consequence...
