Chapter 2315: Complete Yellow Ball (2)

For many, this was the first time they had seen Yellow Ball in battle. They were all utterly stunned, with one question lingering in their minds: were all top-tier lifeforms this formidable, or was Yellow Ball uniquely powerful?

Though these parasites lacked magic crystals, preventing a direct assessment of their levels and strength, many here had fought them before and knew that mature individuals were roughly equivalent to seven-star evolved, with some so tough that even eight-star evolved struggled against them.

Currently, Earthʼs average evolution level was around six stars. Cloud Peakʼs average was one level higher, at seven stars, and the main combat battalions were slightly higher, but still below eight stars.

At higher evolution levels, even a 0.1-point change in average was no small feat—it required countless evolvers successfully advancing to raise it.

These were Cloud Peakʼs three major peripheral battalions. Though weaker than the main combat battalions, they were close to them, yet they still found it very difficult to deal with the lifeforms here.

Yet these beings, which they struggled so hard against, were being slaughtered like targets by Yellow Ball. The impact of this sight slowed many soldiersʼ charge.

Now in the middle of the parasite swarm, Yellow Ball rampaged left and right, with no opponent able to stand against it. Its claws, teeth, and even its tail tore through parasite bodies and shattered bones.

Moments later, the flaming walls seemed to reach their time limit, collapsing to the ground with a crash, spreading outward like ripples. Some parasites hiding between the walls were caught and ignited.

These flames came and went quickly—aside from the burning parasites, they scattered and vanished after spreading.

The second wave of mutated lifeforms halted. The third wave of native attackers also stopped. Even Cloud Peakʼs three peripheral battalions paused.

All eyes fell on Yellow Ball, standing in the middle.

The flames on the surrounding, writhing parasites reflected off Yellow Ballʼs golden, sleek fur, making it shine brilliantly.

At that moment, Yellow Ball was like a golden war god—sacred and majestic.

After a brief pause, the second wave of mutated lifeforms in the Desert Secret Realm erupted in countless roars, charging madly toward Yellow Ball—several times the number of parasites.

”It seems Yellow Ballʼs understanding of combat has deepened since its severe injury at the Battle of Mei City.”

Xia Bai, who had come with Ye Zhongming, said softly from behind.

”Should we go in? The enemyʼs numbers are too great.”

Sha Shaʼs fifty thousand troops hadnʼt moved yet. Seeing Yellow Ball about to be swarmed, she couldnʼt help but speak to Ye Zhongming.

The Cloud Peak King shook his head. ”Itʼs far from its limit. Wait a bit—let it have its fun.”

As he spoke, the mutated lifeforms from the oasis were now very close to Yellow Ball.

At that moment, Yellow Ball did something that surprised many.

It retreated.

Facing the enemyʼs charge, instead of standing its ground fearlessly as everyone expected, it moved back.

Seeing this, the mutated lifeforms thought Yellow Ball was afraid and charged even harder.

But... after retreating a short distance, Yellow Ball stopped. Its right front paw stomped the ground, and the metal grid, which many had forgotten—standing tall like a skyscraper—toppled toward Yellow Ballʼs direction.

It happened fast. More than falling, it was like slamming down—like a fly swatter coming down with a crash.

Smack!

The mutated lifeforms had charged too fast, and the metal grid Yellow Ball had created was too large.

One rushed in, the other came down—and the vast majority of the mutated lifeforms were flattened onto the ground.

For the onlookers, it was an unforgettable sight.

Amid the splashing sand were countless lives.

None of the mutated lifeforms were still standing. The strongest, though not crushed into pieces like the others, had all its bones shattered, lying limp on the ground, its body twitching, blood flowing from straight cracks across its skin, quickly forming a small pool beneath it—clearly not long for this world.

Yellow Ball had essentially wiped out most of the mutated lifeforms with one ability.

Perhaps spurred on by the thick smell of blood and the scattered limbs, Yellow Ball let out a roar that shook the area—a proclamation that a king had been born.

While everyone was still stunned, a beam of light shot from the constantly glowing dragon horn on Yellow Ballʼs forehead, instantly crossing the distance and striking the third wave of natives—the cavalry.

Only after the impact did everyone snap back to attention, seeing that the beam had carved a no-manʼs-land through the native formation. Those in its path had seemingly been vaporized. Only near the rear of the formation, a native was slowly lowering its blackened arms, revealing two pairs of hate-filled eyes.

The natives here all had four eyes.

Clearly, this was a top-tier powerhouse, able to block Yellow Ballʼs sudden attack.

At this point, the battle was essentially over.

Though the natives and their mounts still numbered in the tens of thousands, they were no match for Cloud Peakʼs army—especially with Yellow Ball still raring to go, and other top-tier lifeforms like Xia Bai and Jiubao yet to act. The power balance was no longer equal.

The wounded top-tier native seemed to realize this too. It shouted something—though no one understood—and the natives immediately began retreating. The surviving mutated lifeforms also fled desperately back within the boundary.

Cloud Peakʼs soldiers needed no orders; they knew what to do. Ranged attacks began, trying to stop the retreat, while others advanced quickly toward their objectives.

”Letʼs go take a look too.”

Ye Zhongming shook his head slightly—these natives were too fragile. He had wanted Yellow Ball to go all out and see its limits, but these beings couldnʼt even satisfy that.

After leaving many corpses behind, most of the natives retreated back within the boundary.

Many Cloud Peak soldiers were disappointed—if they could have intercepted them, they might have found a way to break through these boundaries.

Ye Zhongming walked up to the boundary and casually swatted away a short spear thrown from within.

The natives hadnʼt continued fleeing; instead, they took cover behind vegetation and fired long-range attacks at the outside. Though defeated, they still seemed confident, clearly finding great security and assurance in this boundary.

Cloud Peakʼs soldiers naturally wouldnʼt let their leader be attacked. Though their attacks were severely weakened by the boundary, their sheer numbers soon stopped the natives from harassing Ye Zhongming.

The Cloud Peak King reached out and gently tapped the transparent boundary, which had become visible from the crossfire.
