The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1824: Cain vs Star ArchDeity (Final clash)

A flicker of confusion crossed the Star ArchDeity’s face as he heard Cain’s laughter. But the confusion didn’t last long.

It all became terrifyingly clear when an overwhelming, destructive aura erupted from every inch of the Neo-Demon’s body. The very air twisted around him, and the sky began to scream. The aura was so intense, so cataclysmic, that it started to erode the fabric of space-time itself, breaking down reality with every pulse of Cain’s presence.

”What is going on!?” the Star ArchDeity shouted, his voice edged with both confusion and growing dread. He could hardly comprehend the exponential growth in Cain’s power. But there was no time left for thought.

Cain was already upon him.

The Neo-Demon’s sword, Sky Devourer, came down like the scythe of death itself. The Star Man clenched his teeth and raised his own weapon, instinctively moving to parry the attack. But the moment the blades touched, his eyes flew wide in horror.

A wave of destructive energy surged through the contact point. It wasn’t just power—it was annihilation. A force that rejected all existence. It felt endless, suffocating, impossible to resist.

And that was only the beginning.

”ZNNNNN!”

A slashing sound echoed across the highest sky as the wounds Cain had inflicted on the Star ArchDeity in their earlier exchange reacted violently. The destructive energy from Cain’s evolved Reaper Touch—now an ArchDeity-ranked Innate Ability—seeped into those injuries, awakening them. They reopened with gruesome speed, bleeding profusely as they drained the vitality of the Star ArchDeity with each passing second.

There was no escape.

Cain didn’t even need to make physical contact anymore. His mere presence radiated destructive resonance, his energy triggering and amplifying wounds from afar. To battle him now was to bleed endlessly—to weaken by the moment until death became inevitable.

A cruel smile appeared on Cain’s face. Without mercy, he twisted Sky Devourer to the side, swatting away the Star ArchDeity’s sword. Then, with a sharp exhale, he launched a brutal kick into the center of the Star ArchDeity’s chest—right where Tiamat’s claw mark had once been left.

”Crack!”

The sound of breaking bones echoed across the battlefield. Every rib in the Star ArchDeity’s chest fractured at once.

”CRACK!”

The next moment, the fractures exploded into shatters, bone fragments piercing into the organs beneath. The damage, amplified by Reaper Touch, continued to expand within him, spreading like fire across dry wood.

”AHHHHHHHHH!”

The Star ArchDeity let out a cry of pure agony, blood spraying from his mouth as he was sent flying through the sky like a broken doll. His body spiraled through the air, limbs twitching involuntarily. But Cain was already pursuing, relentless and silent.

Even in such a wounded state, the man was still an ArchDeity—still someone to be feared. With the last remnants of his strength, he activated the constellation etched into his being. Stars ignited across his body, forming a radiant, rainbow-colored cocoon of defensive energy around him.

”Hmph,” Cain sneered as he watched. There was no respect in his eyes—only cold resolve.

He raised Sky Devourer again, this time channeling the power of the World-Shattering Sword.

”Fifth Stance: Dimensional Rend!”

Sky Devourer trembled, vibrating with power. For a moment, the sword seemed to flicker between dimensions—phasing, twisting, as though it no longer obeyed the laws of this world. It struck the rainbow cocoon, and to the eyes of the lesser beings watching, it seemed like nothing had happened.

Until the scream came.

”AHHHHHHHHHHHH!”

The Star ArchDeity cried out in agony as the cocoon shattered. His body was exposed—and his right arm was gone, completely severed at the shoulder.

Dimensional Rend had allowed the sword to bypass the outer shell of the defense and strike directly at the core. Sky Devourer, empowered by Cain’s will and Reaper Touch, had cut through flesh like paper. Blood erupted in a fountain from the missing limb, refusing to clot under the relentless influence of Reaper Touch’s power.

The Star ArchDeity trembled. His legs weakened, and his vision began to blur. For the first time in countless millennia, fear—not strategy—guided his thoughts.

He was going to die.

Panic surged within him. He had been sent to aid the Lord of Ages. But what good would his death serve now? The Lord of Ages had already lost the upper hand. Tiamat was unstoppable. Cain was ascending faster than any being had ever done before.

”There’s no point in dying if it won’t change anything,” he thought bitterly.

That final realization sealed his decision.

The stars across his body began to glow again, each one flaring like a miniature sun—then exploding in bursts of light and power. Cain was thrown back by the blast, shielding his eyes as the Star ArchDeity transformed into a comet of blazing energy.

He shot upward with staggering speed, aiming to escape.

They were already in the highest sky. Only the boundary to the Third Realm remained—and it was that very boundary the Star ArchDeity now sought to breach.

A smile of relief appeared on his bloodied face. He knew he had failed, but he also knew he carried knowledge no one else possessed—knowledge of Cain, of Imperium, of Reaper Touch.

He would explain it all to the Ancient One.

He would survive.

”I’m sure the punishment won’t be too severe...” he whispered.

And then he heard the words.

”Sixth Stance: Severed World Pulse.”

A feeling of absolute doom overwhelmed the Star ArchDeity. It was instinctual, primal—like staring into the mouth of an endless abyss. He turned his gaze down one last time.

And there Cain was, burying Sky Devourer into the very fabric of space.

In the very next second, cracks split open across the fabric of space itself. The sky groaned beneath the pressure, trembling with such overwhelming intensity that the fractures spread outward in all directions like a spiderweb spun by a cosmic deity. The air rippled and warped around the growing rifts, distorting reality as if the world were on the brink of collapse.

The Star ArchDeity was moving at extreme speed—faster than lightning, faster than thought—but he was not faster than space. The cracks surged toward him, and before he could react, they struck.

And when they struck, everything stopped.

His momentum was halted in an instant. His body was seized, bound in place by the fractured dimensions around him. It was as if space itself had turned against him, refusing to let him move even an inch.

The Star ArchDeity’s eyes widened in sheer horror as he realized he had been locked in place—not by any material means, but by the shattered laws of reality. The space around him had fractured to the point of making conventional motion impossible.

Desperation flooded his heart.

With all his remaining strength, driven by sheer survival instinct and fear of what was coming, the Star ArchDeity channeled his divine power, his constellation blazing to life once more. The strain was immense, but he managed to push through the spatial prison, regaining control over his body.

But it was already too late.

Cain was there.

The Neo-Demon stood directly before him, his body radiating raw, god-slaying might. Sky Devourer was held high, glowing with violent energy, its edge humming like a dirge to end all things. Cain’s muscles bulged with divine power, his veins lit like molten lava, the full strength of the Primeval Genesis Body activated to its peak.

The Star ArchDeity barely had time to raise his weapon—his lone remaining arm trembling as he tried to mount a defense. But there was no real defense to be made.

Sky Devourer came crashing down.

It was not just a sword swing. It was a judgment. A verdict. A force of nature made manifest.

The blade struck with the weight of worlds, crashing through the Star ArchDeity’s guard, splitting his sternum like brittle wood. The impact tore through muscle and bone alike, shattering his ribs, slicing through his spine, and ripping his internal organs to ribbons. The divine armor protecting him cracked like glass, unable to bear the weight of the blow.

Then came the explosion.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!”

A deafening blast thundered across the battlefield as the ArchDeity was launched into the ground like a meteorite. The earth buckled and shattered, forming a massive crater where he landed. The shockwave rippled outward for miles, disorienting even the Prima Deities still locked in battle. Every eye turned toward the impact site.

And then they saw him.

Cain descended slowly, his form cloaked in dark light, his expression cold and merciless. He landed at the edge of the crater and stared down at the broken figure within it.

The Star ArchDeity was barely clinging to life. His body was mangled beyond recognition. His spine was severed, his lungs collapsed, and most of his internal organs destroyed. Even with the nigh-immortal vitality of an ArchDeity, he was finished.

Of course, an ArchDeity always had a last resort: reincarnation through their True Name. But Cain would not allow even that.

Before the Star ArchDeity could form the thought of triggering self-destruction, Cain’s power surged. Waves of crimson and black energy flooded the crater, wrapping around the fallen god’s flesh and soul, paralyzing him completely. His eyes widened in helpless dread.

Then, the sky darkened.

A colossal crimson gate appeared overhead—radiant, ancient, divine. The gates of the Scarlet Throne creaked open, eager to receive a new offering, a new piece to be absorbed into Cain’s throne of death and rebirth.
