The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1823: New ArchDeity Innate Ability

“Seventh Gear!”

The echo of those words had barely resonated across the battlefield when a thunderous heartbeat shook the heavens. Its immense and unfathomable power was enough to make the sky tremble and fracture, tearing visible cracks through the very fabric of space-time around the ascending Neo-Demon.

Yet, that heartbeat was merely a prelude.

In the blink of an eye, Cain shattered the barrier between realms and appeared instantaneously before the astonished Star ArchDeity. A wicked smile stretched across his lips as he casually swung Sky Devourer. It appeared to be a simple, almost casual move at first glance, but those at the Late Stage of the Prima Deity rank and above clearly recognized its terrifying profundity—this single, simple action was resonating with the Matrix of the Universe itself!

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!”

A dark explosion surged forth with the force of three thousand raging torrents, engulfing the Star ArchDeity in a catastrophic wave and flinging him uncontrollably upward into the highest reaches of the sky.

A deathly silence descended upon the battlefield as every Prima Deity, and even the mighty Tiamat and the Lord of Ages themselves stared in stunned awe.

They finally understood the magnitude of Cain’s breakthrough. Although his cultivation still appeared superficially at the Prima Deity level, Cain Laurifer had undeniably stepped into the realm of ArchDeities, becoming a true superpower of the Crimson World!

“HAHAHAHAHAHA!” Cain’s laughter rang out like thunder across the sky. Ecstatic with the overwhelming surge of strength coursing through every fiber of his being, he reveled in the supreme power that pulsed through his transformed body. Yet, his laughter faded swiftly, replaced by a gaze of cold resolve as his eyes fell upon the battlefield of lesser Prima Deities below.

Without uttering a word, Cain extended his palm. An overwhelming, irresistible devouring force erupted from him, snatching a nearby enemy Prima Deity from midair. The helpless deity was dragged instantly into Cain’s grasp, his body and soul fracturing painfully before morphing into a vibrant orb of pure golden vitality and energy.

If Cain’s earlier display of power had left the observers speechless, this chilling brutality brought them face to face with true horror. A grim, ominous silence settled over the battlefield. The terrified Prima Deities froze in shock, their hearts gripped by fear—except for one.

Meylin, the Depravita, met Cain’s eyes with a gentle, trusting smile. Without hesitation, the orb of energy flew toward her, merging seamlessly into her broken form, instantly replenishing all the vitality, spirit force, and strength she’d sacrificed in her fight against the Star ArchDeity.

Cain returned her warm expression briefly, gratitude and pride shining in his eyes. Then, the Power of Order and The Flow surged fiercely within him once more as he vanished skyward, preparing to confront his ArchDeity adversary again.

“Come and die, you naïve child!” the Star ArchDeity roared furiously, emotions utterly unhinged by the shocking reversal of fortune. He streaked forward through the heavens, driven purely by a desperate killing intent, determined to reclaim control of the situation.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!”

Once again, their blades collided with cataclysmic force. Yet, to everyone’s astonishment, this time it was not Cain who was pushed backward, but the mighty Star ArchDeity himself!

Cain’s confident smile widened as he tightened his grip on Sky Devourer, channeling the full power of his Dream into his strike. The universe itself trembled in resonance, the Matrix of Reality reacting eagerly to Cain’s call, magnifying his attack exponentially.

The Star ArchDeity gritted his teeth, desperately struggling to hold his ground, but the surge of Cain’s overwhelming power was far beyond what he could withstand. He was hurled back once more, the corrosive dark energy surging from Cain’s attack eating away at his flesh and rapidly corroding his divine armor.

Cain’s smile grew even broader, satisfaction evident in every gesture. He marveled at the might of Imperium. Even at its initial stage, Imperium allowed him to harness a fragment of each of the Crimson World’s three thousand Core Oniric Truths. Individually, each fraction of insight was minuscule—not even one percent—but united, they created a force of unimaginable power, exponentially amplifying Cain’s strength.

This discovery fueled Cain’s killing intent to even greater heights. Sky Devourer blazed violently in his grip, and he relentlessly pursued the Star ArchDeity, prepared to extinguish his enemy’s life without hesitation.

Below, Meylin observed the epic clash taking place in the heavens. After absorbing the potent orb Cain had gifted her, clarity and newfound determination flashed brightly in her gaze. Her eyes briefly turned toward the Prima Deity battlefield, but immediately sharpened with recognition, locking onto one of the remaining massive dragon statues still standing intact on the chaotic landscape below.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Meylin darted toward the towering statue. With one decisive strike, she punctured a hole into its solid exterior and vanished swiftly into the statue’s depths. Numerous thoughts raced through the minds of watching Prima Deities, recalling vividly how Cain had emerged from one of these same statues utterly transformed. A cold shiver ran through them as they imagined the implications of Meylin’s decision.

Far above, Cain noted Meylin’s bold move and erupted into an even more exuberant laughter, his voice booming joyously across the battlefield. Any remaining concerns for the conflicts below vanished completely from his mind. His entire being now focused solely upon his formidable opponent, determined to deliver absolute victory against the Star ArchDeity.

As he advanced confidently, Cain cast his awareness inward, into the Black Hole at the core of his Soul Dimension. He sensed two recently acquired Pseudo Prima Deity Innate Abilities swirling there. He had devoured their owners specifically for their insights into the Oniric Truth that were connected to Bloodline, pushing his understanding in that domain to perfection. Though the acquired Innate Abilities were merely additional bonuses, Cain wasted nothing.

With a mere thought, blazing red flames erupted from his True Name, instantly consuming those Innate Abilities, channeling their origin power to nourish the technique known as Reaper Touch. Ever since Cain’s own Supercomputer Assistant had advanced into the ArchDeity Level, he’d used every absorbed Innate Ability to relentlessly elevate Reaper Touch, finally pushing it to the pinnacle of the Prima Deity rank.

Now, as these newest bursts of power merged into the skill, Reaper Touch shuddered violently, transforming in a dazzling display of evolution. The ethereal phenomenon condensed into a small, deadly dagger no larger than Cain’s palm, yet radiating power so immense it seemed capable of heralding the end of everything.

“HAHAHAHAHAHA!” Cain laughed again, louder than ever before, overcome with exhilaration and triumph as Reaper Touch evolved fully into the ArchDeity Rank.

“This just gets better and better!” Cain declared, eyes blazing with unstoppable power and confidence as he prepared to decisively end the battle.
