The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1801: To the Eternal War

Cain and Meylin performed a solemn, respectful bow toward the Lord of the Void. Both recognized this might be their final encounter with the powerful Archdeity for quite some time, and his unyielding determination and impressive will had earned their deepest admiration. Without further delay, the duo departed from the Archdeity’s Divine Kingdom, swiftly making their way back toward their own domain.

Soon enough, the familiar landscape of their Divine Kingdoms appeared before their eyes, and Cain and Meylin immediately sprang into action, utilizing the massive reservoir of Origin Power they had received from the Lord of the Void. Streams of golden energy surged outward, nurturing every aspect of their kingdom like a divine ocean replenishing a thirsty land. The borders of their territory expanded rapidly, and the crystalline walls surrounding their Divine Kingdom rose majestically, growing in strength and brilliance.

It took significant time and concentrated effort, but eventually, every single bit of the Origin Power gifted to them had been thoroughly integrated into their respective realms. Meylin couldn’t contain her radiant smile, exhilaration clearly visible as she sensed her Divine Kingdom advancing firmly into the Middle Prima Deity Rank, hovering just beneath the threshold of the next Level.

Cain also felt a rush of immense satisfaction; his own Divine Kingdom had successfully advanced to Level 39—though just barely. But their transformation wasn’t complete yet. Without hesitation, Cain opened his mouth, releasing a torrent of Origin Power that the Scarlet Throne had obtained from Lucius’ assimilated Divine Kingdom.

Due to the catastrophic damage inflicted during their fierce battle with the Beast God, the Origin Power harvested from Lucius’ kingdom had diminished significantly compared to what had been obtained from the Blood Queen. Nonetheless, given that Lucius’ realm was at the Peak Prima Deity Rank, it still contained an abundance of potent energy. This allowed Meylin’s kingdom to smoothly break through once more, reaching Level 39 without any hindrance.

As for Cain...

”RUMBLE!!!”

The entire Divine Kingdom shook dramatically as it expanded in all directions, stretching far and wide. The flow of energy coursing through Cain’s domain intensified spectacularly, reaching a height that felt almost overwhelming. A broad smile of genuine triumph spread across Cain’s face as he sensed his kingdom soaring decisively to Level 40.

”This is a Late Prima Deity Divine Kingdom!” Cain exclaimed, excitement and pride evident in his voice. It had been less than a decade since his arrival in the Crimson World, yet his cultivation speed had surged astonishingly, vastly surpassing even the remarkable pace he’d once set in the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe with his Primordial Body.

Still, despite his elation, Cain refused to become overly intoxicated by his rapidly advancing strength. His sharp gaze quickly turned toward Meylin, conveying his intent clearly. Meylin responded immediately with an acknowledging nod, and together, they moved swiftly toward their personal cultivation grounds, determined to push their combat capabilities to the absolute limit.

Their experiences within the Chaos Beyond the Realm had been far from peaceful, but at no point had they truly faced mortal peril—even during the deadly ambush orchestrated by the consciousness fragment of the Ancestor of Heaven and Earth within Lucius’ Divine Kingdom.

Yet the stakes ahead were even greater. Having now attained combat power at the Half-Step Archdeity level, Tiamat would soon summon them to join the Eternal War. There, they would stand as spearheads in battles aimed directly at the destruction of an Archdeity’s Eternal Kingdom—conflicts of unparalleled ferocity and risk, where no participant, not even Archdeities, could afford complacency.

Settling into a meditative stance, Cain closed his eyes, swiftly dividing his consciousness into three distinct portions to maximize his cultivation efficiency. One part diligently guided the energy flow from his Divine Kingdom directly into the Black Hole within his Soul Dimension, thereby bolstering his energy reserves, strengthening his soul force, and further nourishing his True Name.

Simultaneously, a second portion carefully scrutinized the memories he had forcefully extracted from the Ancestor of Heaven and Earth. While he had only managed to capture a limited fragment of the Archdeity’s soul, and the Crimson World’s Scarlet Throne was ill-suited for soul analysis, Cain still found value.

He knew directly viewing the Ancestor’s Dream or comprehending his deepest Archdeity techniques was impossible. However, fully assimilating the Ancestor’s Prima Deity-level techniques was still feasible. Cain also intended to glean crucial insights into several Oniric Truths the ancient Archdeity had mastered.

For a fleeting moment, Cain considered diving straight into the third level of the Primeval Genesis Body, but quickly dismissed the thought. ”The third level involves the total collapse and subsequent rebirth of the entire body,” he reminded himself sternly. ”It would be wiser to wait until my Neo-Demon Path reaches Peak Prima Deity before attempting something that extreme.”

Finally, the largest portion of Cain’s consciousness focused entirely upon the recently acquired cultivation technique—the World Shattering Sword.

”The World Shattering Sword harnesses the innate destructive essence within my body and soul, converting it directly into a powerful fuel for rapid growth,” Cain internally reflected. ”I can channel this destructive power efficiently, greatly accelerating my cultivation speed. Yet, despite its effectiveness, it’s incredibly dangerous. Without an exceptionally stable foundation and a body capable of enduring extreme strain, I risk crippling injuries.”

Cain carefully considered this stark warning, but remained undeterred. His Neo-Demon body already surpassed Peak Prima Deities in sheer physical might and resilience. It was more than capable of handling the tremendous stress and destructive force inherent in this cultivation technique.

Delving deeper into its secrets, Cain reached the very core of the World Shattering Sword technique. ”The true might of this method lies in its seven distinct sword stances, each representing a different aspect of ultimate destruction—not merely physical annihilation, but the complete devastation of space, time, energy, memory, law, and even soul,” he silently marveled.

”Mastery of these stances enables a cultivator to wield catastrophic power. Those who successfully master all seven stances become incarnations of cataclysm itself—entities so powerful that even the lives of Archdeities could be extinguished with a single strike.”

Without hesitation and with eyes blazing with thrill and determination, Cain began training in the World Shattering Sword cultivation technique.

The first step was to tap into a vast reservoir of destructive energy. Normally, such power would be accessed through an Oniric Truth rooted in destruction. Although destruction was indeed one of the fundamental forces within Cain’s Dream, he had yet to fully acquire or awaken a Destruction-based Oniric Truth. Fortunately, he possessed something just as potent.

Drawing in a deep breath, Cain activated the latent destructive power embedded within his True Doomsday Body. As he focused inward, his Neo-Demon Core began to tremble, radiating waves of annihilating energy that coursed throughout his body. Every nerve, every muscle fiber, every blood vessel pulsed with raw, violent power.

Using the knowledge gleaned from Archdeity-level cultivation technique, Cain skillfully seized that destructive energy and did what most could never even dream of: he transformed it into a force of evolution.

Channeling it through precise internal pathways, he made it flow through every cell in his body and every particle of his soul. At first, his body trembled violently under the pressure, his internal organs momentarily pushed to their limits. But Cain adapted quickly. Within seconds, his Neo-Demon body acclimated, and the destructive energy began fueling growth rather than tearing him apart.

He could feel it—the rapid expansion of his energy pool, the refinement of his soul force, the strengthening of his body. It was as if the destruction itself was guiding his cultivation, breaking down his weaknesses and reforging him into something stronger.

Yet the impact wasn’t limited to Cain alone.

As the energy within him intensified, it began radiating from his Divine Kingdom. The very air began to hum with a powerful frequency, resonating with the essence of annihilation. Strangely, this didn’t lead to devastation. Instead, it triggered a miraculous transformation among the kingdom’s inhabitants.

The destructive aura didn’t harm them—it restructured them. It shattered internal flaws, corrected imbalances in their cultivation foundations, and removed barriers that had long hindered their progress. The Divine Kingdom itself became a crucible of growth. The radiation coursing through its skies and land ignited a feedback loop with the vampires.

Cain remained in deep cultivation for three entire years.

For that time, he was motionless, lost in a vast ocean of power and understanding. His body absorbed everything the technique offered, while his soul was molded by the flow of pure, focused destruction.

Then, one day, a voice echoed within his consciousness, clear and commanding.

”It is time.”

The voice belonged to none other than the Dragon Empress, and her words left no room for ambiguity. The call to action had arrived.

Cain opened his eyes slowly, rising from his meditative stance. As he clenched his fists, waves of overwhelming destructive power rippled through his limbs. His entire body buzzed with terrifying energy—every cell infused with the might of the World Shattering Sword.

A dark smile crept across his face.

”Let’s see just how fearsome an Eternal War truly is.”
